This would later be extended to all of Europe, the US, Australia, Canada, Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Latin America by March 12 with the ban on flights to-and-from China and entry restrictions for those who traveled to-and-from China to be lifted by somewhere around the first week of April. As a result, the MoT are cracking down on any possible chance of an outbreak spreading due to imported cases from international travel while the MoTA together with the Ministry of Health are working together in maintaining and securing Zhouran's highly-strict biosecurity, in order to protect the health of the people, fauna and flora of the nation from outside diseases.

Apart from temporary travel bans, Zhouran was the first nation to evacuate its citizens out of China, first beginning with Zhouranese citizens in Hubei on January 23 and later on Zhouranese citizens in most of China's eastern major cities. Luckily however, thanks to Zhouran's rapidly-implemented quarantine, highly-effective state-of-the-art publicly-funded decentralized universal healthcare system (ranked as best in Asia and one of the best in the world), highly-efficient merit-based social-security system (also ranked as best in Asia and one of the best in the world), and a highly-robust high-tech socialist economy that cares for the welfare of the people, the number of confirmed cases in Zhouran had only peaked to around twelve by March 19 with the curve now flattening and going on a downward trend as the number of confirmed cases in Zhouran has decreased to around five while seven have already recovered with none having died so far as of March 22. In comparison, the number of confirmed cases in the west is in the several thousands with the US leading in the skyrocket of COVID-19 cases in the west thanks to the inefficient bureaucratic nature of neoliberal late-stage capitalism in decay, the incompetence & sheer ignorant dogma of the Trump administration (including the slashing of CDC budget), and the US government's helpless nature in effectively containing the outbreak (because to them, the effective measures put in place by China & Zhouran are "demonically authoritarian"), not to mention the US media's scaremongering on the reporting of COVID-19 and spreading both fake news and alternative facts (in comparison, Zhouranese media has been very factual, rational and calm on reporting the outbreak). From a cumulative numbers perspective, the US is gaining more cases at a quicker time period than that of China during the initial outbreak, which shows the disparity between the effective socialist system of China (dubbed 'authoritarian' by western corporate media) and the 'supposedly-efficient' neoliberal system of the US.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the nation, the Ministry of Health began establishing guidelines and safety recommendations for citizens on March 2. These recommendations include using face masks while outside, avoiding large crowds, maintaining a safe distance from others, washing hands, staying indoors most of the time, and going outside only for the necessary task of collecting necessities such as food and medical supplies. As a result, this has further contributed to Zhouran's effective containment of COVID-19.

Because of Zhouran's academic year, Term 1 starts in early February and ends in mid-March, meanwhile Term 2 starts in early April and ends in mid-July. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, academic classes for primary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities, vocational tertiary schools, and military academies will be cancelled on the first week of April with classes to resume on the second week instead.

Parliament has passed the coronavirus relief package, which will send money directly to our citizen's, expand unemployment coverage and a variety of other sorts of stuff. Law enforcement are being used to secure prices by raiding price-inflation effected warehouses of products. A social distancing guideline has been placed by the Prime Minister. A Parliament member has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Temporary hospitals have been built in city parks. All passenger ship routes to our nation has been closed after a stranded ship of 999 cases of COVID-19 and 88 positive cases on the ship has been stationed in Sankt Wihelmsburg Port.

Only humans were advised to stay apart. Other species don't have issues with the Coronavirus and the problem was very limited already, because most human people here are introverted.

We combated the virus at first with nanotechnology (first inject a bot with cov19-protein receptors and a ferromagnetic tail, then inject ferromagnetic bots and the virus and infected cells are destroyed when a alternating magnetic field passes through the body), but in about a week's time we already got the vaccine. Now we're focusing on helping other planets by providing the means to produce the vaccine, doctors and equipment for worst affected and least affluent regions.

Later on, a proclamation was issued banning travel from any areas that reached 1,000+ confirmed cases and a mandatory 14-day quarantine from areas with 250+ cases. Non-essential businesses, as well as schools, were closed in another proclamation a week later. Parliament recently issued a stay home order effective until early May at the least, though these restrictions may be extended. Restrictions were extended indefinitely.

We have not become aware of cases of the virus among the general population but we have been providing pocket bottles of hand sanitiser free of charge at shops and supermarkets, offering extra support to certain industries and promoting the importance of frequent hand washing.

We are however making available scientific and medical personnel to aid other nations in the fight against the pathogen, and have turned some of our manufacturing capacity to producing ventilators for those nations that do not have sufficient.
