Chadtonia has a Federal Council, of which council members are elected from a platform of multiple political parties, thus making the correct answer to be that Chadtonia is a Multi-party system.

However, there is one factor that might create a different perception among some very opinionated conspirator voters, in that nearly all of the presidents elected thus far, excepting the current president, President George Wolf and possibly *Theresa Bear Claw, have had a biological connection to Chadtonia's first Emperor, Emperor Chad The First, and most of these were affiliated with parties of socialist ideologies.

*President Theresa Bear Claw made contradictory claims as to her tribal heritage and possible biological relationship to Emperor Chad The First, and was never DNA tested.

The Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria has a dominant party system. In 1984, President Hatake reformed the parliament system, allowing existence of other parties, changing the one-party system into a multi-party system. However, the Aqua Communist Party (ACP) remains a very high popularity among the people. Nowadays, the communist party formed a Leftist Union, owning 90% of the seats in the Federal Council. The multi-party system, in fact, become a dominant-party system.

The United States Constitution has never formally addressed the issue of political parties, primarily because the Founding Fathers did not originally intend for American politics to be partisan. In Federalist Papers No. 9 and No. 10, Alexander Hamilton and James Madison, respectively, wrote specifically about the dangers of domestic political factions. In addition, the first president of the United States, George Washington, was not a member of any political party at the time of his election or throughout his tenure as president and remains to this day the only independent to have held the office. Furthermore, he hoped that political parties would not be formed, fearing conflict and stagnation. Nevertheless, the beginnings of the American two-party system emerged from his immediate circle of advisers, including Hamilton and Madison.

In partisan elections, candidates are nominated by a political party or seek public office as an independent. Each state has significant discretion in deciding how candidates are nominated, and thus eligible to appear on the election ballot. Typically, major party candidates are formally chosen in a party primary or convention, whereas minor party and Independents are required to complete a petitioning process.

The modern political party system in the United States is a two-party system dominated by the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. These two parties have won every United States presidential election since 1852 and have controlled the United States Congress since at least 1856. From time to time, several other third parties have achieved relatively minor representation at the national and state levels.

Among the two major parties, the Democratic Party generally positions itself as centre-left in American politics and supports an American liberalism platform, while the Republican Party generally positions itself as centre-right and supports an American conservatism platform.

Crossoveria is a multi-party state. There are eight parties that compete in pyramid Presidential elections, where the number of political parties are cut in half as the next level of elections comes up. Parties range from liberal to conservative, capitalist to communist, imperialist to isolationist, and environmentalist to pro-technology.

A quasi two-party system. The two major parties, both right-wing, the National Liberal Party and the Conservative Party, together the centrist Democratic Union, being very similar in terms of views and proposals but competing among themselves while disputing with the oppostion. But with these ones being allies in most issues and in power.

Terrapacis has a non-partisan system and the establishment of formal political parties is strictly prohibited by law. As a general rule, individual politicians are grouped into informal political factions based upon their voting record and/or membership in political organizations (which are allowed to exist), but these factions are fluid and should not be used to determine which faction has the majority of seats in any of the provincial assemblies or the National Assembly.

When it comes determining the specific makeup of any of the assemblies, the seats are often simply counted as left-wing, centre-left, centre, centre-right, right-wing, and environmentalist, rather than specific political factions.

We have a dominant party system. We are democratic, but the people repeatedly choose the Liberal Communist Party. The LibComs, as we call them, have a unitary supermajority of 66%, and the Liberal Supermajority Coalition regularly has 85% of the Senate Seats.

No parties exist in Hallownest, for two reasons.

1) It's an anarchy
2) All people elected to the council run independently (the council being made of delegates from all sub-divisions and only existing to make sure a massive territory war does not breaks out)

Quasi-Two Party. Metzetta has arrived at a strange system in which votes are cast every 5 years, with one of the major parties (The Imperial Party) being headed by the Emperor, whose position exists regardless of the outcome but has a mostly ceremonial function when his/her party is not in power. The other major party is The People's Party, the original opposition to the long-running succession of Emperors, who practice electing their leader democratically rather than genealogically. Small parties emerge and occasionally win representation locally but have never ruled the country.

Tangatarehua has a multi-party system, occasionally bordering on a quasi two-party system.

Usually the two biggest parties are the centre-right Ropu Ripera (the Liberal Party) and the centre left Ropu Mahi (Labour Party) however both Atawhai (the Conservative Party) and Manapori (the Democratic Party) have been known to achieve substantial representation (in fact currently Atawhai has only three seats fewer than Ropu Mahi while Manapori is currently the junior coalition partner in the Ropu Ripera-lead government).

There are also a large number of minor parties represented including the Communist Party, Tangatarehua Huihuinga, the Motumakariri Independence Party and even single issue parties such as the "No Third Runway at Tamaki-Raki International Airport Party".

Until 1999 Tangatrehua was considered a dominant party system, with Ropu Ripera governing continuously since the first democratic election in 1982 until Ropu Mahi formed a centre-left government for the first time in 1999.

The Communist Union and the broader Edenist International are headed by the Internationalist Revolutionary Party in what could be considered a one-party system. No other political parties are present within the Union, and governance is technocratic rather than democratic. It is however important to note that the Internationalist Revolutionary Party isn't structured as a standard political party these days, instead serving as the 'brain of society'.

The Commonwealth has a multi-party system. In practice, there are three major political parties; the Industrial Socialist Party, Australic Labor Party, and Country Party. This three-party system is so ingrained into the national political system and culture that both leaders of the two of three parties not in government are afforded the official positions of Leaders of the Opposition.

As well as the three major parties, there are moderate and minor-sized parties that are often crucial allies for the major parties in forming governing coalitions, as rarely does any one of the major parties have the numbers to be able to form government by itself. The independence of these parties varies - some are semi-integrated with major parties to the point of being considered simply another branch of the party, others simply cooperate with the largest party in any case, and some are staunchly independent.

All in all, 14 political parties exist at the federal level, though not all are represented at present in Parliament.

The Kingdom of Rwizikuru, since the adoption of its 2020 constitution that created a constitutional monarchy (as opposed to an absolute monarchy) is officially a non-partisan state, with no political parties legally present. In practice, there are several factions in the National Assembly, who endorse certain candidates, although MNAs cannot be part of a political party.
