The Allied States have a Quasi two-party: system. Currently, the Social Democrats have a majority in the National Assembly. The Conservatives are the main opposition. In 17 of the 18 states, one of these parties control State Government.

Independents and minor parties are most likely to win seats in the two westernmost states.

A unitary stratocratic state that follows a uniquely-Zhouranese variation called Yuhukekang*, the national unicameral legislature of the People's Republic of Zhouran is the Supreme Assembly, which has 1,500 members. Assembly Sessions are held in five-year intervals, starting on May 8 and ending on May 18. The first Assembly Session was held in 1957. Assembly Sessions provide an opportunity for the government to review past policies and present future plans to the nation. On November 7, 2002, the People's Republic of Zhouran legalized the creation of opposition parties, turning the nation's political party system from a single-party system to a dominant-party system with the People's Party being the leading dominant ruling-party in power. Since 2002, out of the 1,500 seats in the Supreme Assembly, around 900 seats are reserved for civilian members of the People's Party, around 500 military-only seats for Zhouranese People's Army military-appointees nominated by the People's Defense Council, and around 100 seats for opposition parties. Prior to the legalization of opposition parties on November 7, 2002, around 1,000 seats were reserved for civilian members of the People's Party and around 500 military-only seats for Zhouranese People's Army military-appointees nominated by the People's Defense Council. Although the Supreme Assembly is the primary legislative body of Zhouran, it ordinarily delegates authority to the smaller and more powerful State Presidium, chosen from among its members. The State Presidium has about 80 members and is led by the President of the State Presidium (Head of State), who is assisted by the Vice-President of the State Presidium.

Below the State Presidium are both the People's Defense Council and the Central Council. The People's Defense Council of the People's Republic of Zhouran is the highest guiding organ of the military and the managing organ of military matters in the nation. The Chairman of the People's Defense Council is the Supreme Commander of the Zhouranese People's Army. The PDC is regarded as the most powerful government council in the country and is led by the Chairman of the People's Defense Council (Head of Military), who is assisted by the Vice-Chairman of the PDC. The Central Council of the People's Republic of Zhouran is the chief administrative authority of the nation. It is chaired by the Premier of the Central Council (Head of Government), assisted by three Vice-Premiers and five Central Council-Members.

Since September 12, 1956, the People's Republic of Zhouran has three levels of local government: province, district, and city. Provinces are the first level of the administrative structure. A standard provincial government is led by a provincial council, headed by a governor. The governor is first-in-charge of the province, with the vice-governor being second-in-charge. Districts are the second level of the administrative structure. Each provinces are divided into districts. Each district is governed by a district-chairman. A city is a permanent settlement with a name and defined boundaries. They are the third level of the administrative structure. Each city is headed by a mayor.

On November 7, 2002, the People's Republic of Zhouran legalized the creation of opposition parties, turning the nation's political party system from a single-party system to a dominant-party system with the People's Party being the leading dominant ruling-party in power. The People's Party, the dominant political party since the PRZ's founding, continues to be the main political party of the nation due to being a united civilian front with a big-tent approach and having members from both the political-moderate and political-hardline.

While the People's Party dominates at national-level politics, minority parties are highly-active at local-level politics. Compared to the catch-all philosophy of the People's Party and its embracing of both political-moderates and political-hardliners, minority parties on the other hand are more-divided along the Moderate–Hardline Political Spectrum. Although minority parties actively-participate in local-level politics, they do not dominate it since labor unions and labor-union federations have been dominant in local-level politics especially back when the People's Republic of Zhouran still followed a single-party system.

Political representation from any labor union/s and/or labor-union federation/s dominates the local politics of towns and cities in Zhouran, minus the national capital Ouyang since the capital only matters at national-level politics. With Zhouranese politics being divided between the political-moderate and the political-hardline, each labor union would be organized among such lines. Labor unions in Zhouran are also further organized on whether they represent specific crafts, specific industries, or just workers of different crafts and industries in general. While labor unions and labor-union federations continue to dominate local-level politics, many of them have actually created their own political parties since the legalization of opposition parties in 2002 in order to have political representation in national-level politics.

In Zhouran, rural areas tend to lean politically-hardline while suburban areas tend to be politically-moderate in general, urban areas on the other hand tend to be a bit-more balanced but slightly-leaning towards the political-moderate. Being the nation's leading dominant ruling-party in power, the People's Party is more focused on national-level politics, as for minority parties they focus more on local-level politics especially that of a specific town or city they are active in.

Western liberal democracies love to virtue-signal about their supposed superiority because they are simply 'more democratic', but in reality these sham democracies are complicit in reinforcing the unjust hierarchies of neoliberal capitalism and the preservation of far-right reactionary politics. These western representative 'democracies' do not represent the interests of the workers but rather they only represent the interests of corporate fatcats, warmongers and lobbyists. They do nothing but create a fake facade in order to trick the masses into voting for them, for the centrist liberals they create the image of progressiveness around themselves despite capitalism being regressive in nature, meanwhile the right-wing conservatives build a facade of nationalism and populism to entice their followers despite capitalism being highly-globalist and created only for the sole benefits of the bourgeoisie.

Thanks to the immortal socialist science of Kaimingism–Jinbuism, the proletarians of Zhouran have the largest amount of workers' autonomy in the world. We have the world's largest number of labor unions, the largest number of self-managed cooperatives, the highest amount of regulation for workers' rights, and even the highest unionization rate in the world with pretty much almost every single Zhouranese worker being a member of a labor union. Not to mention that every labor union in this great nation have the addition of political representation in order to bolster the collective bargaining of workers. Our political system simply works because it was built and tailor-made for this nation, so maybe other nations outside the west should stop utilizing the flimsy bureaucracy of western sham democracies and instead utilize their own political system that benefits the interests of their people rather than foreign elites.

Two party
Third parties exist but have limited representation due to past the post. However a third party known as The Frontline Party exists in Denver a liberal state where the conservatives have little representation due to pushing away Latinos from their bigoted anti immigrant laws. The Frontline Party espouses fiscal conservatism and support undocumented immigrants.

The Federal Republic of Filipinas has a multiple party system. The chance that a party will be able to dominate the Batasan (Legislature) is quite low, but not impossible. If ever the leading party is not able to create a simple majority, coalitions are formed to determine which parties will be of majority and who will be of minority. In contrast, a non-leading party can also choose whether to form a coalition with other non-leading party to become the majority if they fulfill the circumstances and surpass the leading party.

We have a quasi two-party system: the National and Democratic parties usually take between 70%-80% of seats between themselves, but a number of smaller parties and independents win the rest and occasionally govern in coalitions

The Commonwealth of Great Britain is a de facto dominant party system as, although other parties may freely contend all elections, the Syndicalist Party has always retained control of the federal government - it currently holds 429/720 seats in the People's Congress. The Syndicalists are seen by most people as the default, around 70% of adults are registered as members and other parties are only popular as 'protest votes' with no real chance of forming a government. The only time the Syndicalists have not held a majority in the National Assembly was from 2011-2016, when they formed a coalition government with the Green Party.

Kedri technically has a dominant party system since the Conservative Party has the plurality everytime. There at least three other parties that manage to win some seats, though.

Multi-party, just about - the Social Democratic List and United Conservative Party are massive; the Tinhamptonian Libertarian Party and the Free Democratic Party used to be third parties with a shout of making second place, but the TLP has collapsed while the FDP has merged with various special-interest parties to become the New Democratic Alliance, a fully-fledged party in its own right. The far-rightish Tinhampton First Party is some distance behind the big three parties, but is comfortably fourth ahead of the smaller conservative parties and the Green-Environmentalists.

Valentian Elysium has a multi-party political system, with any party having a theoretical chance of winning the elections, and gaining a majority in Parliament, whether through coalitions or alone. There are 2 'main' parties: the Social Democratic Party and the Conservative Party. However, as seen in the latest election (where the Green Party won the election, and Progressive Valentian Elysium came in second place), anything can happen, so the term 'main parties' are used extremely lightly

There are also some political parties that are basically aligned. The "Leftist Alliance" is made up of the Democratic and Green parties, while the "Confederate Force" is made of the Confederate, Siuos, and Hyrioskis parties.

Usually the Confederate Force will band together to get over 40% of the vote. The Leftist Alliance usually works with the Galactic Party to get around 23% of the Vote. The White party usually votes with the Leftist Alliance, but on issues that concern cracking down on large Federations, they will vote wit the Confederate Force. The Loyal Party is very neutral, whichever cna get to them first might have a chance, but usually a few abstain. Used to have a triparty-system
- Conservatives
- Socialists
- Liberal-Democrats

It's changing, evolving towards a multiparty-system. In the 70s the Green Party got a couple of seats. In the 80s the Communist Party gained a couple of seats. In the 90s the Nationalist Party joined in the parliament.
In het beginning of de milennium the fascist party got some seats, accompanied with the pirate party and the Pro-Depened Party (Regionalists).

Seleyahn political theorists would like to claim Seleyah has a two-party system although post-war politics (ie since 1945) have largely exhibited traits of a dominant-party system at the national level and in some of the states. Seleyahn politics bears striking similarities to politics in its fellow Oceanic former British colonies of Australia and New Zealand, even down to the names of political parties. Of the 19 elections since 1946 the centre-left Labour Party have won six, with the centre-right Coalition (as with Australia the centre-right consists or several parties contesting different states and appealing to different elements of the electorate) winning 13. During this period Labour have only retained office once, at the 1982 election, and governed for single terms after four elections (1946, 1970, 1994 and 2006). In 1974 and 2010 initially popular Labour governments were sunk by world recessions and unpopular immigration policies. During the same time period only on one occasion has the Coalition been defeated after a single term (at the 1978 election) and governed for 20 years between 1950 and 1970 and in 2018 won their third successive general election victory.

At the state level four states have genuine two-party systems (Adelford, Lewisia, Northern Seleyah and Hartley), Norfolk Island has a dominant-party Labour Party, while the Coalition dominates in New Sussex, Emmett, Bornett and Torfrey. Interestingly in Emmett, Bornett and Torfrey centre-right parties are more competitive, with the Labour Party a distant third. The Northeastern Territory is also regarded as having a genuine two-party system, although only in recent years as the centre-right Territory Party historically dominated.

A mix between Multiparty and Quasi-two party system. Generally power is by the Center Left or Center Right blocks and normally depend on coalitions with other parties of the blocks or greens or liberals to decide who rules. Parties normally compete in elections to be the main party of it's block and against the other ideologic bloc.
