Shamsiyya has a non-partisan system. After the disbandment of the Socialist Unity Front of Shamsiyya and all institutions associated with in as a result of the Eighth Intifada in 1991, the non-partisan system has been introduced, actually as a temporary solution. But over the time, it simply remained this way, and people as well as federal and cantonal governments began to see the benefits of having a consensus-oriented direct democracy, as opposed to a potentially extremely divisive multi-party system (which Shamsiyya completely lacks a history of whatsoever), so this became the standard still followed today.

Party System of the Roman Republic
The Roman Republic officially maintains a non-partisan republican government, where no official political entities operate to exercise control, instead supplanted by the efforts of independent politicians (who more often than not enter informal alliances with one another). Although various political factions, cliques, and cabals have coalesced and disappeared over the centuries, there was never a true effort to compartmentalize the Roman government into true, official political entities such as "political parties" due to the Republic maintaining a general, internal ideological continuum through the state's dedication to the maintenance of social stratification and (to a certain degree) human superiority.

In the lower levels of Roman government, such as the local governments of cities and settlements, quasi-political parties can be seen forming through the sociopolitical evolutions and goal-settings of municipal committees and councils. However, local magistrates have the ability to crack down on the formulation of ideologically aberrant political organizations that form in these levels.
ROMA INVICTA.
SENATUS POPULUSQUE ROMANUS
The "Space Rome" in a total, unadulterated fashion. Puppet of Menschlicher Sternenstaat, although not necessarily in the same continuity.

The Holy Empire's lower legislative body, known as the Chamber of Man, is host to three major political factions.

Consisting of 135 representatives from the six major provinces, they are divided up into the pseudo-fascist political faction (with an armed wing that has haunted my country for centuries now) known as the Falangoist Party, the equality preaching reds of the Red Front Communist Party and the Imperium Aeternum (Empire Forever) which dominates the majority of the Chamber though would still require bi-partisan support to pass laws.

Fostoria is currently under what is considered to be a "Dominant-party" system since the Graszfostoriaye-Nationalimperiale-Vorkourpartie (GF-NIVP/Nationalist Imperial Workers' Party) has entirely dominated our politics since its formation as a coalition of right-wing parties in 2017. The party, led by MP Geralde Wessler, has been able to secure an 88% supermajority in parliament partially due to the fact that Grand Emperor Geronimo XIII openly supports it.

Before this, it was an exclusively multi-party system in which 4 different conservative parties, 1 nationalist/fascist party, and several left-wing parties that changed almost every election were vying for power.

The Parliament of Ravenni is officially run under a multi-party system, with five represented parties in the House of Communes, elected through proportional representation (MMP), no restrictions on the formation of new parties or the running of independents. However, to many other nations Ravenni is often seen as a dominant-party or one-party state, where the five parties are just different faces of a permanent, unassailable left-wing government. The five parties cooperate substantially, with all Governments since the nation's founding being formed of a unity coalition of all five parties.

The NAU has a quasi two-party system officially with some characteristics of a multi-party system. Plurality vote is used in national and provincial elections, not any proportional representation voting systems.

At the general and provincial levels, the Whigs and Tories, the liberal and conservative parties, respectively, are the largest parties and almost always gets majorities needed to be in government, or have large enough pluralities to form coalitions with ideologically similar but smaller parties.

In fact, there are some regional parties that are ideologically similar to one of the two main parties, they always from coalitions with the main party, and they don't have a great 'kingmaker' status as in some parliamentary democracies with smaller parties that would have greater kingmaker status if they were more extreme compared to the mainstream party they were entering into a coalition with. They supplant the main ideological party in that region, for example the BWI Confederation of Conservative Parties in the Caribbean Provinces instead of the NAU Tory Party, which is restricted to the mainland NAU and Bermuda. The BWI CCP of course cater to regional interests, but this is not divisive enough for the ideological coalition to not form and thus are treated as close allies to Mainland Tories and in effect part of their overall conservative faction. For the Whig side, the Aboriginal Nations Party caucuses with the Whigs usually, though they have provided only confidence and supply in recent years; the New Labour faction of the People's Coalition is now the more allied member with the Whigs in recent elections, with the Whigs and New Labour promoting a "third way" reconciliation of market economics and social equality, though New Labour's emergence on the scene caused a de facto break with the PC's old guard and split the party even though the PC still nominally exists.

Laredo was formerly a multi-party state up until the early 20th century. From the 1940's to the 1980's, it essentially had a two-party system much like that of the U.S.
The National Conservative Party and the Progressive Labor Party typically had majority control in the government. In present day, Laredo is a one-party state that has been run by the Social Syncretist Party since the revolution in 1986.

Minoa has a bicameral legislature.

The Vouli elects its deputies using a simple majority over 650 constituencies.

The Gerousia elects its deputies using a single transferable vote system over the nine nations (Athens, Blagoevgrad, Devon & Cornwall, Hong Kong, Istanbul, North Macedonia, East Minoa, West Minoa, New Syria). The number of deputies for each nation depends on the population.

Devon & Cornwall and Hong Kong will elect their own members in the next elections: by August 2021 (Vouli), and November 2023 (Gerousia).

Political parties are limited to the nation they serve: that means that each nation has its own set of left, centre, right, green, etc. parties. However, political parties can form alliances at the Vouli and Gerousia, similar to how the European Parliament works.

PARTY SYSTEM —

The Adjutatours have won every general election since electoral reform in the 17th century, making Albennia an example of an extreme form of a dominant-party system. Often their vote share has exceeded 70% of all votes cast.

But the Adjutatours are not so much an organised political party as a parliamentary party that successful "Adjutatour" candidates will then join, while also joining other parliamentary factions. These factions are most commonly political machines that give patronage and campaign support. These machines can be ideological, regional, or built around senior figures. The actual party organisation that exists is responsible for the coordination of these groups to ensure the success of as many Adjutatour candidates as possible. Individual or co-operating legislators will also attempt to establish personal power bases in their constituencies, focusing on specific issues, groups, or areas of the constituency (this is to make sure all the votes don't accidentally go to a single Adjutatour candidate, which would let the opposition in).

This, of course, is because Albennia uses the single non-transferable vote. Well, in multi-member constituencies, anyway.

Confused yet? You've also got the university constituencies, which thanks to vocational colleges and institutes of technology being given representation there are now over a hundred of, which are another matter entirely...

The Vylerian Government is a Quasi-Dual Party system akin to Australia, with elections being held every 4years and terms limits for Members being similar - However if a major party has dominated in Elections for 3terms it will be given a handicap of sorts in the upcoming election, to allow for an opposition party or minor party to take the reins of Government ~ Thus allowing political minority groups to better represented in parliament due to the size of the Nation and the high risk of a Dictatorship.

On paper Ieskarios is a multi-party parliamentary democracy, but in practice it is a quasi-two party system (in this case, three-party system) since there are only 3 parties that tend to hold the office of Prime Minister.

The Ieskari Traditionalist Party (right-wing), the Ieskari Democratic Society (centre-right) and the Social Liberal Party (centre-left) are the three major players, the former two generally winning more of the time, but the country hosts a multitude of parties. The Traditionalist Party is the one currently in charge (as of this writing).

Though Autocratic, the Empire allows Political Affiliations to be held by anyone with the rank of Citizen and above. These are largely to assist the Patronage system in place so that the Patrons or Legates may organize their actions accordingly by a base of their personal political beliefs. Additionally, many members of the Imperial Senate are members of a 'Allegiance' as they are called and represent their Allegiance's will on the Senate-though they often do not last long if this is the case.
Functionally, the Empire of Eotenses is Non-Partisan.

One-party from 1922 to 1992, under the Communist Party,

Quasi two-party from 1992 to 2004, dominated by the Liberal Democrats (actually hardline neo-fascists) and the Social Democrats, with the Conservatives and Communists having high reach.

Two-Party from 2004 - present. After the collapse of the Liberal Democrats, the Social Democrats and Communists have operated in a pseudo two-party system where they compete against each other but also frequently work together (note the current Coalition, also known as the Left Bloc).
