Administrative divisions of YN

[DiaperLand]

The nation of DiaperLand is divided into 9 provinces, and those are further divided into districts, and finally cities, towns & villages. Governors handle the overall operations of each province, district managers are just below them, and then there are local mayors at the city and town level. Since our nation is an autocracy, all matters lead to the approval of our president.

[Oronia]

The United Realms is federation of twelve constituent realms. As stipulated in the royal charter, all realms but Northern Platalonia (a democratic republic) have a hereditary monarchy: Fanelayasia, Las Islas Pichiwa, Las Tierras Lewfu, Mawidona, Puelania, and Willicia are kingdoms; Kuyumonia, Ngulusia, and Potrencia are grand duchies; Las Islas Kelücu is a principality; and Pikunicia is a duchy. Each realm has its own charter, premier (whose powers vary between the realms), legislature, and court system.

Each constituent realm is divided geographically into a number of provinces that do not have any associated government structure. In the 1700s, many of the provinces were petty kingdoms that were later conquered to form the greater kingdoms of the Oronian archipelago, with their former rulers being demoted to dukes that swore fealty to their respective sovereigns. Since the establishment of the Kingdom of Oronia in 1829, the same divisions were reinstated but with no governmental functions; they now serve as little more than boundaries for the electoral and judicial systems at the realm and national level.

Each province is divided into a number of municipalities, the incorporated cities, towns, and villages. These incorporated areas encompass all the territory within a constituent realm, with no portion of the realm being unincorporated. Larger municipalities are governed by mayor-council systems (the capital city of Antüria, and a few other cities are governed by a city commission), while smaller municipalities are governed by council-manager systems.

There are also "non-incorporated areas" that are known as barrios. These areas have no separate legal/corporate existence from the municipalities that they are in: some services (i.e., fire, police) may be present, but all other services and functions are at the municipal level. Most barrios are associated with historic towns, villages, or communities that could not function as independent municipalities, and thus serve to preserve some part of their more historically well-preserved areas.

[Axorea]

The Holy Axorean Principalities are a federation of six states, the Principalities. Each principality is divided into provinces, further divided into districts. Each district has its own divisions, but the most common ones are metropoles, municipalities, or particular aggregates of rural hamlets represented by a single council.

[Zarate-Campana]

The territory of Zárate-Campana is divided in 46 prefectures and 1 Special Administrative Region where the government seat, is located. The capitals of the country are Edo (Administrative) and Heijō-kyō (Legislative and Judiciary).
The country also maintains a claim to The Sovietic Union over Chishima Islands, knowing that they were ancestral territory of the Ainu people.

The Federal Republic States of New wolvers is divided in the following:

-Abbeys (only applicable in the exclave of Saint Veronika City, in the state of New Veronika)

These subdivisions are reflected in various documents and bureaucratical.

Further subdivision that are partially recognized by the Federal Republic States are the Autonomous Werewolf Nations, which while being technically speaking their own sovereign entities, they do compose a subdivision of territory by the paper.

Terrapacis is divided into six provinces, which are further divided into counties, which are further divided into municipalities.

[Nova Universo]

The Entity in administrative terms is a municipality (commune) with 25 districts (quartiers) and 1.600 neighbourhoods. Each district corresponds to a superblock composed of nine or so city blocks surrounded by arterial roads. Each neighbourhood is contained within a city block surrounded by local roads. Some districts, such as the Royal Quartier, are zoned for specific purposes, while others, for example Q8, are mixed-development zones.

[The British Syndicalist State]

The Commonwealth of Great Britain is a federation consisting of four National Republics, or NRs (The English NR, Scottish NR, Welsh NR and Maltese NR). These are theoretically sovereign entities which have agreed to form a union, and who share their sovereignty with the federal Commonwealth government. They each have their own constitution, government and institutions, and could in theory choose to secede from the Commonwealth, but there is no prededent for this happening.

The English NR, because of its size compared to the other three republics, is further divided into 11 Provinces. These also exercise a considerable degree of autonomy, but unlike NRs they are not sovereign, and any policy of a provincial government could be overruled by that of the Republic or the Commonwealth.

Below the level of Republic and Province, there are hundreds of local District councils, which are responsible for matters such as education, healthcare and housing provision, as well as collecting refuse and maintaining local roads and public spaces. The lowest level of local government is the Community, usually consisting of a single village or a neighbourhood within a town or city. These deal with the most immediate local matters and usually hold monthly meetings which are open for all residents to voice their grievances and vote on measures put forward by councillors.

[Rhodevus]

Rhodevus is divided into multiple divisions. At the top, is the federal jurisdiction, comprised of the reigning monarch, the Rhodeve Senate and National House of Commons. There is also the Council of Premiers, which at times act as advisors to the monarch.

The next level is Provincial, which hold jurisdiction over the provinces. Each province is run by a premier, a governing council (a smaller version of a house of commons) and provincial senate. There are six provinces in Rhodevus. The premiers also act as the Council of Premiers, headed by the Imperial Premier, who is the Premier of the Imperial City of Rhode; the most populous province* (more to be discussed later).

Under provinces, there are counties or districts, which are comprised of multiple cities, towns and geographic areas. These often have elected officials, but are more so used as locals to determine who gets elected to the provincial or federal governments. Not much actual policy is dictated at this level (well, those in this level are also elected to higher levels, so there is that, but there is no power directly related to this division)

Under districts, there are the cities, which are the smallest division, often run by a mayor and senate of councilors.

Now for the exceptions to this rule.

The first notable one is the Imperial City of Rhode (ICR). As mentioned previously, it is the most populous and most important province. The leader of the province is called the Imperial Premier, and considered the third most powerful person in government (under the monarch and official heir). This is due to the province being given the Imperial designation, which gives it a bit more autonomy in acting, than other provinces. As the name suggests, the ICR is also classified as a city, there are ae no defining separations between town borders. Instead, the province is divided up into districts (all named for a native tribe), run by District Councilors, but more commonly referred to as Districtors. Districts are further subdivided into zones, run by Chief Officers (also just called Chiefs or Mayors, just to make things more confusing).

Next exceptions are the territories; The Imperial Territory of the Ile du Fleurs, and the Territory of the Iles du Surete. The Ile du Fleurs is similarly given the Imperial designation, but as a territory, there are more restrictions. Firstly, there is the federally controlled territory, and then there is the Imperial territory, comprising of 75% and 25% of the land respectively. The federally controlled part of the territory, is as the name suggests, more so in the control of the federal government, run by the governor. The Imperial Territory is the more autonomous part of the territory, run by... the governor. The same governor in fact. So, the governor is in a strange situation, where they can act similarly to a premier, but often face greater pressure by the federal government, due to them being able to set territorial laws without direct interference from the governor, who then must follow and enforce these laws. Under the territorial division, there is the district, similar to those of provinces, and then the cities.

Lastly, there is the Territory of the Ile du Surete, which is run by a governor and directly influenced by the federal government. This is further subdivided into districts (often based on the island) and then into cities

[Nature and Industry]

Central government: responsible for managing the rest of the divisions, also where most of the power is concentrated, and where the greatest authority of the empire is. Ie,the supreme heavenly leader

States: Kingdoms of New Spain, Peru, rio de la plata,Brazil, Columbia,Canadá,Great britain and ireland,France, Netherlands,italy,spain and Portugal,Captaincy General of Chile, Florida, Cuba, the Caribbean and Philippines

Space colonies: low in population but high in potential, are the most expensive to maintain

[Rauritania]

• At the first level administrative division, Rauritania consists of district regions, federal cities, constituent republics (semi-autonomous)
• Constituent republics have control over their own subdivisions. District regions are further subdivided into boroughs, which can optionally contain townships (usually no more than 1/10 the area size of the borough or so) and usually contain a higher population density. Federal cities are consolidated entities.

[The Aquaria]

It is quite hard to describe the whole administrative division system in a single sentence since it is a bit complicated.

At the highest level, we have Republic and Oversea State. Republics are the federal subjects of the mainland of the Aquaria. Currently, there are 8 republics, while all are named a "Socialist People's Republic", including Kurumia (Kułumia), Asuna (Asüna), Hestiria (Héstilia), Charlotte (Ćaalott), Narancia (Nałançia), Artoria (Aatolia), Blois (Blowa), and Karsten (Kaastén). For Oversea States, there are currently 3, including Nakano Islands (Ostłov de Nakano), Aljabal (Alyabal), and Xizhou (Ksićò).

After that, there are still differences between the lower levels. Different republics have its different system by themselves, since SPR Artoria, Charlotte, and Karsten are a federal republic by themselves. Normally, in unity member republics like Kurumia and Blois, the administrative division level under republic will be Provinces, but in those federal member republics, the lower level will be States, and then there is still a Province level under those states. In other word, this situation can occur.

Example 1: Tokisaki City, Province of Tokisaki, SPR Kurumia, The Aquaria

Example 2: Lionne City, Province of Gloxinia, State of Yéléna, SPR Charlotte, The Aquaria

In this situation, Province of Tokisaki in Kurumia is at the same level as the State of Yéléna in Charlotte. However, for the Province of Gloxinia in Charlotte, it is actually a lower level compared to the Province of Tokisaki, while there is no respective division for the federal province.

Everything is going to be more simple after that, since there will be only City, District, and road left for the divisions. Well, thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

[Montadia]

Although Montadia is a unitary state, its divisions have a degree of autonomy in inenentong programs and policies determined centrally. The country's divisions, from largest to smallest, are:

Regions: there are 9 regions, based on historical divisions of the country. These have little power and are mostly in place for economic and policy planning purposes.
Prefectures: akin to French departments or Japanese prefectures, these have small eelcted assemblies and have a number of delegated functions (i.e. policing) and implements central policies and programs (i.e. education) with adjustments for local needs. Montadia has 67 prefectures.
Communes: akin to counties or municipalities in other countries, these form the basis for towns and metropolitan areas and often have local service duties (e.g. water, sewage, local zoning). All have a mayor and council and may may pass local ordinances and bylaws. Some large communes are synonymous with their prefecture due to their populations or historical significance (i.e the capital Valloire)
Arondissements: akin to wards within cities, these are the local divisions of communes.

[Zakrya]

The Free Nation Of Zakrya adopts a system of devolution:

1: national level, it is the highest and most comprehensive in the whole country.
2: district level, is the intermediate level, are the first level Subdivisions being subordinated to the national level, with each district being governed by a Governor who is elected by the District parliament which in turn is elected by the people.
3: municipal level, it is the lowest level, it is the last level Subdivisions, they are subordinate to the districts, being that each municipality is governed by a mayor who is elected by the municipal parliament which in turn is elected by the people.
the judiciary is completely private (since I interpret the Non-Judiciary policy as being the traditional judiciary that is state-owned, so the judiciary in my nation is private.)

[Grussland]

The country is divided into 15 Districts (Bezirk), and two which each have small elected assemblies to effectively administer centrally-determined policies and spending priorities. These assemblies thus oversee a number of powers delegated by the central government (i.e. education), but the central government has authority to override the District. Each District is further divided into Counties (Landkries) and Municipalities (Gemeinde), and, while the Landkries are higher in the hierarchy than Gemeinde, the two sometimes overlap each other in terms of roles and service delivery.

[Veraguas]

Veraguas is divided into departments, which in turn are divided into municipalities.

[Beaufort]

Beaufort has many adminisrative subdivisions, that tend to follow a top-down pattern. At the top is the National Government and Legislature, which for all intents and purposes, is the state and where the subdivisions draw all their power from.
The highest division is the 12 Provinces, each divided up into around 6-15 counties, which are the most important, as they are the electoral subdivision that returns members to the National Caucus.

These counties are then usually divided up into Boroughs, Parishes, Communities and Unicorporated Territories.
A city would be subdivided into Metropolitian Boroughs, which would then be further subdivided into Wards and Metropolitian Parishes.
A town would usually be divided into Wards.

Waddon Province however, follows a special system. There are 3 metropolitian counties, and 23 metropolitian boroughs. The boroughs in this case are considered, legally, counties, and therefore form electoral boundaries for Deputies in the National Caucus, and forms a 2-Tier system, where local councils deal with things such as waste collection, utilities, street cleaning and maintenance, public housing while the City Government deals with things such as policing, firefighting, public transport, funding for infastructure projects, etc.

[Maltitalerland]

Maltitalerland is divided in 15 Districts, and 1 of them is autonomous, every district is divided in Counties, from a minimum of 1 in the New City of Maltitalerland (a singular case i'll talk about later), to the District of Ernverezgu, divided in 18 Counties. Every County is divided in Municipalities.

The New City of Maltitalerland isnt divided in Municipalities, but in Metropolitan Boroughs.

Every municipality has a mayor and an assembly, elected by the citizens who are over 17 years old, every County has a prefect and an assembly, elected by the citizens who are over 20 years old and every district has a District-President and a district assembly, elected by citizens over 25 years old. For the Capital, there is a similar system as the Counties.

[Inner Albania]

Inner Albania is divided into provinces, which in turn are divided into municipalities.

[Scytharum]

Scytharum is divided into 20 distinct Commonwealths, who all answer to a certain extent to the federal government, but have a great deal of agency over many of their day-to-day operations and whatnot. Meanwhile, these Commonwealths are, in turn, divided into cantons, which vary in size and largely depend on factors such as population, urbanization, geography, etc. The Cantons of each Commonwealth are most akin to U.S. counties.

[HarYan]

The UEH haves 8 provinces: Aitsin, Granderio, Koddagia, Middyan, Novembria, Laryantia, Oaxyan and Demaria, and 1 Imperial Capital District, where it's capital and third largest city, Auredyan, is located.
The country haves a federated political system where, despite the central government being able to pass federal laws wich have precedence of provincial ones, mostly to govern international affairs, interprovices commerce, the currency, national infraestructure and investment, and national defense, the provinces and local governments are able to legislate over most of the issues of the civil life. The UEH was more centralized in the past, but there was a return to the federalization after the end of the previous republic, which wad plaged by corruption, authoritarism, and the restoration of the monarchy and of the old constitution, but with reforms.

[Ile de Richelieu]

Île de Richelieu is a unitary theocracy located on a small island. It is divided in one town and 5 villages.
