Ato PATRIA Amendment Passed
April 3, 479 A.C.

Providência Capitoline District, Aurantia (RNC) — The Senado da República narrowly greenlit Ato PATRIA Emenda A.479AC.3 after weeks of extended debate following the fall of the Fourth Alvimian Empire to Atlantic Empire aggression the previous month. Strong bipartisan cooperation between senators of the outspokenly interventionist Partido Progressista Nacional and the isolationist opposition party Partido Nacional Trabalhista was met with opposition from left-leaning blocs in both parties, along with vehement opposition from the Frente Social-Democrata.

Under the previous month's A.479AC.2, all Euphemian refugees bearing ties to the Atlantic Empire were to be detained and deported in most cases outlined by the amendment. One of the provisions of the new Emenda A.479AC.3, however, has been a source of controversy: the possibility that this legal approach can be expanded to any other post-Euphemian nationalities. Despite this, the law was met with outstanding approval, according to polls.

Critics were outspoken in their condemnation. "There is significant risk that we will be sending these people back to active warzones. There is no doubt in my mind that this policy will be sending countless innocents fleeing Imperial tyranny to their deaths," Almirantados Governor Reginaldo Álves Branco (FSD) declared in resounding condemnation of Ato PATRIA's amendments. "Is President Belchior willing to assume this responsibility?"

"If these refugees are punished by the so-called empire, they will only prove us right." Prime Minister Esão Figueiredo Cabral lashed back on social media platform SQUAWKR.

Others in support of the amendment did not hesitate to show their support. "Euphemie is incompatible with Angecalia's liberal, tolerant worldviews. Where we adhere to logic and reason, they adhere to blind religious superstition, worshipping dead presidents." Governor Julio Caetano Medeiros of Stypandra (PNT) declared. "If a day comes where we worship President Belchior, please, shoot me." He added jokingly.

The Alvimian Fight Continues - Your Mid-Monthly Update
April 15, 479 A.C.

Călimănești, Acasia — The first half of the month of April 479 has seen a multitude of developments in the Ophiric nation of Alvimia, now the South Atlantic Empire. With the collapse of the Imperial Alvimian government, to be replaced by one headed under a Euphemian 'Emperor of the South', the citizens of the so-called "Alvimian Remnant" have now seen the finalization of their country's transition from native rule to that of an Empire inescapably bound to it's Euphemian counterpart in most respects.

The SAE has, under the so far iron-fisted rule of Emperor Marcian Powell, begun the process of handling the question of foreign interests and persons in Alvimia, offering citizenship to expatriates and foreign citizens. Though it was initially feared such persons would be in effect taken hostage, the Emperor has instead ruled that they be allowed to leave the country.

Two days ago on the 13th, however, the Alvimian government-in-exile announced the formation of the "Exército para a Restauração Nacional" (Army for the National Restoration [of Alvimia]), otherwise referred to as the ERN, effectively a reformation of the Alvimian military that was destroyed when the country collapsed. The army's current leader will be Vinicius Quadros, the General and leader of the military junta that presided over Alvimia at the time of Emperor Dom Pedro XVIII's death.

The various remnant units that made up the Alvimian Army and escaped the country during it's conquest by the South Atlantic Empire are to be reorganized into new units with ex-Alvimian military personnel. In a speech on the 13th, General Quadros, located in Angicalia since the fall of Alvimia, proclaimed that the people would Alvimia would fight "a War of Resistance" against the Imperials in Alvimia, promising that liberation would come to the nation and that the South Atlantic Empire is "short for our world". He reinforced the point that Alvimians would accept "glorious death over death by exploitation", emphasizing that the only support the SAE has in it's borders is the support of Euphemian expats and "those brainwashed by Imperial mechanations".

While his words continue to draw attention, the arranged deployment of Acasian military forces to the Republic of Kina continues, the Acasian government concrete as ever in it's stance that the South Atlantic Empire is an "vicious entity, hellbent on Tangaliro-esque cultural and historical destruction." In the meantime, the Acasian Navy also continues preparing for deployments abroad.

Dom Pedro XIX's Coronation: All You Need to Know
April 19, 479 A.C.

Călimănești (RNC) — Earlier this morning, legitimate Alvimian Emperor Dom Pedro XIX underwent his coronation ceremony in the Acasian capital of Călimănești - here is RNC’s brief summary of everything you need to know about the newly-declared Imperador of Alvimia.

The new Emperor is, unsurprisingly, a not so distant relative of Acasia’s Empress Marisa. In fact, the two are cousins. Pedro XIX appears to have been chosen in defiance of the conventional line of succession both because of the presumed death of Dom Pedro XVIII’s son, Guilherme Pantaleão, and because of a prevailing sense that Pedro is more suitable for acting as the leading figure of Alvimia fighting, against the South Atlantic Empire.

The new Emperor, aged 43, has already clearly defined himself as a key figure in the fight for Alvimian independence, being a strong-willed and determined opponent of the Atlantic Empire who has, evidently, demonstrated his determination to lead a movement against the Atlantic Empire regardless of the circumstances it finds itself in.

It is expected that the Alvimian Emperor will not go for long without finding himself bogged down in the affairs of acting as a political figure to complement the military Exército para a Restauração Nacional (ERN). The ERN’s guerilla and official military forces alike compose a wide band of all ideological and social spectrums, members ranging from communist militiamen to right-wing absolute monarchists, and all in-between.

In a speech today, given shortly after the end of the coronation, Pedro XIX conveyed his desires for the Alvimian people and, among other things, outlined his hopes for the future of Alvimia.

Emperor D. Pedro XIX donned an Alvimian admiral's uniform, symbolic of his Acasian naval service and dedication to the war.

"I stand here humbled before my fellow countrymen, kin and the world to accept this crown, and the title of Emperor of Alvimia. I am thankful to be here today to accept this privilege ... of leading all my Alvimian countrymen in our War of Liberation against the Atlantic Empire. To those at home, to those oppressed who stand idly by — let this be known this is a call to war. Do not accept these shackles they impose upon you — do not accept the voting rights they strip from you, lest you serve a system of pure evil. They have taken your businesses, your profits — all nationalized by the Imperial regime. They have taken your rifles... they have taken your children for their Agoge. We will not stand idly by while this happens — and neither will you. Take up arms, Alvimian citizens! No act is too insignificant. Cut power lines, kill Imperial soldiers, arm your families — hesitate not. It is a sacrifice far more noble than any lifetime of slavery under a gringo boot. I use my coronation here not as an event centered on myself, but as a declaration to all Alvimians, and to our Euphemian adversary — we will not take this boot lying down. Those who seek to trample and oppress the Alvimian people will know well the taste of defeat and humiliation — for we will not relent until our flag flies valiantly over Porto Plácido. Anauê!"

The new Alvimian emperor's declaration was a beacon of hope to millions of Alvimians oppressed under the Atlantic Empire. Angecalia aided in the proliferation of the speech through widespread broadcast hijackings across the country, along with the use of Radio Free Alvimia. According to Angecalian intelligence sources, the abrupt escalation of resistance operations this April has caught the Empire by surprise. It was allegedly expected that the 'weak' Alvimian people would 'accept their defeat' once the 'Pantaleon pretender' had been 'stifled'.

That, evidently, seems not to be the case.

Pedro XIX's declaration in Călimănești was met with a speech of support from President Belchior, who reinforced his position on Alvimia. "We will reach no compromise, no settlement with the Imperials regarding the status of Alvimia. Alvimia is for Alvimians. We stand on the right side of history, and we will stand with our brethren until every Euphemian has been run north of the true border. There will be no concession, no negotiation on this matter — we will not cease until every Lazarus, every Neworder and every Strickland, Stardust and any other Presidential spawn has been sent running back to their nest. Alvimia will not be another victim of a Euphemian's ambitions. No — you will see how the free peoples of the world rise to take up arms against those who would seek to do them harm. As I speak, Alvimian children are murdered by the Imperials... what they do is nothing short of genocide. I will not tolerate this, so long as this Republic stands... may God bless Angecalia and her Allies."

Euphemianist Church condemns “widespread betrayal” of Euphemian values
April 19, 479 A.C.

MORHATTEN — Following a sequence of high-profile military actions in the Atlantic Ocean performed by the Republic of Angicalia and the Atlantic Empire, mainly centered in Turmenista, the Euphemianist Church in conjunction with the Northeast Government issued a series of scathing, wide-ranging condemnations of what it views as “grave splits” within the Euphemianist faith.

Following Imperial military intervention in eastern Turmenista, including what has been described as a “propaganda broadcast” by renowned descendent of President Neworder, Laila All-Praised I. Neworder in service to the Atlantic Empire by the Euphemianist Church, the Euphemianist Church has issued statements formally stating that Imperial claims to the saintliness of Neworder’s descendant are to now be considered “false” and in no way “theologically binding”, a reversal from the prior policy of the Euphemianist Church which considered her to be an “inspiring child-saint.” Supreme Commissioner Bauer demonstrated a heartfelt moment of religious devotion when he cautioned the Euphemianist congregations against the word of false prophets in a brief televised address.

The recent slew of misguided xenophobic hate channeled by Laila has caused a significant rift across Old Euphemie — I bestow her neither the honor of Neworder or Saint in my address, for she has earned neither the honor of our Great President’s name nor the title of Saint. That she would jeopardize all Euphemie’s standing against the world in her selfish pursuit to put us all upon the same doomed path as the so-called Atlantic Empire truly brings into perspective the brainwashing and heresy that has been allowed to take root in the rebellious, seditionist territories controlled by the Powell brothers. We must stand against her militaristic, xenophobic slave-state that stands in defiance of all great Euphemie was and will be.

Unlike those in the West who have, so unfortunately, begun to stray from this Euphemian Dream we all stand for... we will not betray the values of this great nation to stand against tyranny and hate, nor will we even consider the thought. Thusly, with this address I make a call to all Euphemians watching at home, and abroad to stand in unity against the heinous atrocity that is the Atlantic Empire, and to remain steadfast in your faith. Only through the demise of those who would seek to bring about the end of this great nation may we finally call for the Elections... and put an end to this horrid civil war that has shaped all of our lives, and damaged the values of our great nation so badly.

To those abroad who now look at us with doubt due to the words of the terrible harlot, we are not against you. We will, however, not submit to foreign domination, that much will remain a constant truth. Know that Laila does not represent Euphemie, no. She represents that which is wrong with the Empire: she is brainwashed, turned into a talking-head for a megalomaniacal self-proclaimed Emperor, clinically deluded with a God-complex. She represents the forsaken Empire: and while it may pain me to say so morally, when our friends abroad in Alvimia break their shackles, and tear down the bastard image that is the doomed dictatorial regime, she will not be longed for if she falls with it.

We will stand with our allies every step of the way to Hyperion. Know well we will not relent until democracy at large has been restored to this great nation... damned be all the traitors and dissenters that stand in the way of the Euphemian people and their Manifest Destiny to secure this great republic once more from sea to shining sea. It is in these most trying times that God smiles upon Euphemie.

The Church would later go on in its statements to echo similar words to what the Supreme Commissioner stated, further reinforcing that Laila would only be considered a Saint in the Atlantic Empire - and in such statements, a further series of notable changes in the Church’s perception of Laila were made. One of the more symbolic ones was an official notice of defrocking, relieving her from her position as a Sacramental Chaplain of the Euphemianist Church. Domestic and foreign responses are forthcoming.

Hwangseo - On a press conference held in Hwangseo yesterday, led by Oesterran Ourielist Priest and well-known civil rights activist Father Lloyd K. Vincent from the Oesterran diaspora in Anding and his deputy Lynn S. Augustine, a like-minded Oesterran activist from Elteston, a group of Oesterran diaspora figures from various parts of the Pacific declared the formation of the Free Westland Government-in-exile during a press conference held in Hwangseo's Missionary District.

In his speech, father Vincent cited the various atrocities committed by the Havenist regime against the people of Oesterra, denouncing the tyranny of the Haven regime. The government-in-exile declared that their goal was to restore a free independent Oesterra embracing the values of liberalism and human rights, with Vincent as Interim President of the reconstituted Republic of Westland.

Today, I stand here with my compatriots, not only as individuals of the Oesterran diaspora in the Pacific, but as the sparks that will light a fire, a fire of revolution that will fervently burn against the Havenist tyranny.

Since the day the Havens rose from the shadows amidst the chaos following the fall of Serondequot, only adversaries and suffering have befallen our people, political and ethnic oppression enforced from the end of a rifle barrel. The Havenist regime’s hands drip with the blood of the innocents, and it is a . They spoke of freeing Ouirel’s followers from the Euphemianists, but in it they only made it an excuse to twist our faith in their image, to their own advantages. They are people who belonged with the Adversary and never Ouirel. If one could look at their history and tell me that the Havenists are a legitimate and benevolent regime afterwards, I could only believe that they are either lying, delusional or one of the collaboratists of the Havenists. The Havens are not a legitimate government of Oesterra, but rather, an occupying force of evil representing the interests of a warlord family rather than the will of the Oesterran people.

In the name of Ouriel, Westland and our people, we stand here with utmost pride against the Havens, but also in humility to the international community today to declare to the world that, on the 19th of April, in the year 479 AC of our lord, the Confederate Republics of Westland, and the Free Westland Government, has been founded, and that the end is near for the Oesterran Commissariat!

Repent, repent while thee still can, Havenists! F'r in the shall of ouirel the day of reckoning is near! In his holiness' wrath shalt those who is't bears the sw'rd of Ouirel punisheth thee avatars of the Adv'rsary, lib'rating the people of Westland from thine utmost blasphemy!

Father Vincent's declaration was met with official diplomatic recognition from the People's Republic of Sinica and the Angecalian Republic.

"The Angecalian republic is committed to the establishment and defense of democracy. In this commitment to the determination of the free peoples of the world, we side behind the establishment of the Republic of Westland as a sovereign nationstate." Angecalian President Tiago Arruda Belchior declared in an address given shortly after the declaration, commending the Oesterran people's aspirations towards self-determination.

“The People’s Republic of Sinica holds the belief that the future of Tsion and its people should rest in a future where the values of modernity and democracy would replace the various racist and obsolete notions in which dictators like the Havens have long exploited to reign against their people. In standing with the unsubjugatable free will of the people of Westland, the People’s Republic of Sinica hereby declares our support to the will of self-determination and freedom from fear and wants of the Westlanders against the Havenist tyranny.” Sinican President Yang Jingde also declared in an address given on the same day after the declaration, in support of the newly-founded government-in-exile.

Porto Plácido Uproar: Latest JSOF Episode Breaks Viewership Records
May 27, 479 A.C.

Providência (RNC) — Almost all of Porto Plácido was overtaken within hours following the assassination of Emperor Marcian Powell and Admiral Kidd Ure at the hands of renown mercenary group JSOF. Imperial forces were reportedly overrun within a matter of hours, with many Alvimian resistance groups already within the city's confines by the time of the nuclear destruction of the IAN Westland. Within an hour, the Wall was destroyed by Alvimian liberation forces, with the Imperial Palace being destroyed at the hands of Coalition air forces.

Groups now in control of the city have pledged allegiance to the Alvimian government-in-exile, effectively establishing the city as the capital of Alvimia, although the government-in-exile remains hesitant to return to the mainland. Sources in Porto Plácido confirm the operation had been planned long beforehand, with an offensive slated for Fleet Day 479. However, the assistance received by JSOF has created an online and real-world sensation that has caused an uproar almost worldwide. The Associação de Pais de Angicália almost immediately lobbied for the episode to be banned due to its intense, real depictions of gore and murder, though TV Onírica has denied this request. The episode, additionally, was aired publically in Morhatten, Torch City, with the execution of the Admiral and Emperor Marcian Powell being met with celebration and cheering in the streets. This same fanfare was evident even in Angecalia, with a fireworks show taking place in Andrade in the aftermath of the episode's airing.

Due to the uprising, JSOF Merchandise has skyrocketed almost 500% in the past 24 hours, with many stores running out of stock. No comment was given by CEO Jimmy Sykes or his PR manager. Rumors from within the company suspect, however, that the enigmatic billionaire intends to bring his fight against the Empire and other 'oppressors' to many other places across Ophir.

Already the fact this was conducted by a private entity has called into question the status of the conflict in Alvimia among many policy think tanks. "It is an absolute travesty," Renan Fontana Cavalcanti told RNC reporters. "Not that this happened in the first place, of course, no. I extend my gratitude to miss Monteiro for executing that tyrant. But I find it an absolute travesty that our armed services couldn't do it themselves. If some mercenaries can pull it off, what stops us from expanding our conflict with the Imperials in Alvimia? The answer is... nothing. Nothing stops us from that action. We must simply be willing to commit more men, more patriots towards the liberation of our brother country. I can only hope President Belchior handles the next decisions ahead of him wisely... we, as a nation, stand at a crossroads. That crossroads will decide whether we become a beacon of democracy or stand helplessly while our friends in Ophir succumb to totalitarian darkness."

President Belchior addressed the actions of JSOF, and the Alvimian Resistance at large, with a brief congratulations during a press conference. "It has come to my attention that Porto Plácido has followed their prerogative as free peoples and undone the chains of Imperial oppression. To that, I congratulate the brave, fierce, relentless Alvimian Resistance. We will always have your back. I would like to also congratulate JSOF, of course, because they make the dream of fighting for one's freedom a reality to many... and they create a damn good spectacle for us back home. As it stands, the current priority is to ensure that Porto Plácido will not succumb to a second invasion. I am in the midst of talks with NGOs from the Medeuropan Federation, Vir and the People's Republic of Sinica to establish a comprehensive aid plan towards the newly-liberated city. Thank you."

With the historical heart of Alvimia liberated, the fate of the Empire's grip on Alvimia is uncertain, or the fate of former Imperial institutions, facilities and detained officers in Alvimia. Due to the city's distance, a temporary ruling council has been established over the city, headed by Resistance leaders Vanessa Nita Meireles, Fantasma Branco, and João Vitor Greissom da Silva.

De-facto Alvimian Minister of Telecommunications Rafael B. Cruz addressed several questions in a press conference on the behalf of the new leadership of the city. "The city is free now, yes. I'm relieved to be here saying this. We're currently working out the situation of Euphemian officers. We have received advice from our Zachod peers to conduct trials in the Federal State. But they have committed their crimes, here in Alvimia. They will, thusly, face trial in Alvimia. We are willing to forgive captured enlisted troops, of course. I would be a hypocrite if we didn't show something our enemies lack — mercy. But this General here deserves no mercy," Rafael gestured to his aides, who dragged a heavily bruised and beaten Imperial general to the podium. "The jury has already decided the fate of Imperial high command in this city. Death sentence. Anauê!" Cruz proceeded to unload a .50 caliber round from his sidearm into the man's skull, which caused significant distress to international journalists.

With the sound of some lovely music of Alvimian origin playing softly in the background, Supreme Commissioner Martin Bauer, the man who held the torch of Fern's great experiment in his hands, was already at work. The pen clicked, ink would make contact with some documents of varying importance, and he would use the early morning light to briefly light up a Ofirican cigar.

"What is it?" Bauer would quickly ask. "There's- something's happened. Do you watch JSOF, sir?"

"I've heard of it... why do you ask?"

"Just check the TV, sir!" The officer exclaimed, walking over to pick up the remote for a currently off television, placed up on a stand along the wall. As the screen came to life, he would quickly press a channel number in. The screen would quickly flash to EBN, depicting what seemed to be a nuclear bomb cloud in the center of a bay, a large city skyline in the distance. Below it, a red 'BREAKING NEWS' banner flashed. This brought some immediate alarm to Bauer. "Don't tell me those Imp fucks're invading-"

"It's Porto Placido, sir. Not even, what, two hours ago? IAN Westland was vaporized by an explosion, probably nuclear. JSOF, and I'm not making this up, sir, hijacked that Emperor Marcian's Fleet Day speech. His admiral's dead, we're confident he's dead too. All goddamn hell's breaking loose in Alvimia!" The man's words would bring immediate silence, Bauer being taken aback.

"..ho-lee shit. It's an Alvimian-!" Bauer stopped himself from referring to the event as another Serondequot, slamming his fist on the desk with glee. "I'm getting on the line with that Mayor-Governor. I think now's a good time to do something funny... Engadine's bout as pissed at the Imps as Alvimia is, I'd figure!" Nodding, the officer would run off, shutting the door behind him.

Supreme Commissioner Bauer gives speech to the Atlantic Empire
May 26, 479 A.C.

MORHATTEN — As the most recent development to the events that have unfolded in Alvimia this morning, the Supreme Commissioner from White Peaks delivered an address to the people of the Atlantic Empire this evening, with the assistance of military aircraft that hijacked 'several dozen' radio stations across Engadine and Heartland to avoid suppression by Imperial authorities. The contents of the message are below:

Citizens and inhabitants of the Federal States of Euphemie... this morning I was briefed on news that I sincerely believe, in the years to come when our times are looked back upon, will be considered the beginning of the end for the evil, abominable Atlantic Empire and it's wicked falsehoods which are so mindlessly propagated across not just our great nation, but far beyond. Whatever your false Emperor tries to claim, the truth is known: the Atlantic Empire has been dealt the fiercest blow it has known in decades. Their Emperor of the South, whose name I shall not defile my conscious by saying, is dead.

With him, we all believe and hope, their sick plans to subjugate the Alvimian people, to render them mindless slaves of power hungry tyrants, is over. They have tasted tyranny, and now they will know liberty. Even as, across their nation, they revolt against the helpless throngs of clueless Imperial troops, one must similarly look upon their acts as an example for Euphemians in the Empire.

Fearsome as it's endless horde of chattel soldiers may be, the truth is that behind the intimidating edifice, the Empire is one built on the suffering of human beings. I do not speak to all Imperials, I speak to all those proud Euphemians who refuse to be subjects. There are some that will never renounce their robotic love for their master... these people are not Euphemian citizens like me and you. They are lower. They are, to use an old Sinican term, fellah. These people are beyond reason, they will never earn my compassion, nor my mercy. But, those who hate the Empire within your hearts, who wish for a return to our nation's glory days... never has there been an opportunity like now.

We live in times of uncertainty, and in these times, we must fall upon radical takes and ideas to support ourselves. And I propose this idea to you: that everything about how you, oppressed peoples are governed... is a FARCE! Your religion? The Imps first created mind-numbingly ridiculous concepts of faith to remove your faith! And when this failed, they knew they failed. They have gone so far as to INFILTRATE the Euphemianist Church in their drive to curry favor towards them! Because deep down, no sane man would ever support their dreams. Their government bodies do nothing, they are staffed by bootlicking servants of your Emperor who use troops to keep things running! One kick to any part of it, and the rotten structure will come crashing down! Be that boot! Bring this evil Empire down!

And know this! You, who pours sugar into the tank of an Imperial truck! You, who sabotages Imperial tires! You, who takes your hunting rifle and domes an Imp square between the eyes! You all do an equal amount to destroy this abomination against God! You are patriots! We live in the final days before this great nation emerges from the ashes once more, as it has always, and he that fights for Euphemie will live on in history! The day of reckoning for these despicable traitors and seditionists is soon!

"We must be the change we wish to see" - New reforms planned in the Senate
June 10, 479 A.C.

WHITE PEAKS — The Federal Senate was convened by the request of Supreme Commissioner Bauer earlier today, who in a slight notable departure from the norm asked that several vital government and military personnel - including such people as General Mauz - attend as spectators. Upon it's convention, Bauer chose to dedicate the session to such topics as the still-fresh change of government in Turmenista and the contentious topic of "reform or restoration" that has plagued the Northeast Government's capital.

Bauer, who has ruled in White Peaks "like a Sinican emperor" since the early 470s, took a notable divergence in his decades-long position on the Euphemie Question by officially announcing that he would not appoint Army Commissioners to replace the seats of now-unemployed Turmenistan senators - taken as an unofficial acceptance by outsiders that he no longer considers Turmenista to be a part of Euphemie the federal government would consider worth fighting for. He also made some abrupt changes in the power dynamic of the Senate, offically declaring that the Federalist and National Republican parties would be merged into a recreation of the famous party that dominated Congress under President Neworder's term - National Unity.

Even amid all this sweeping change, though, Bauer found time in the 17-hour long session to give his remarks on several other topics, such as the Euphemianist Church's role in society and politics.

BAUER: ...for the record, Senator, I will say that my opinions about where the Euphemianist Church has led our citizens, controversial as they may be, are not exclusive to myself.

SEN. AL TOMMOROW-NEVER-KNOWS D. MARTIN (UNITY-CR): Who shares them, Supreme Commissioner?

BAUER: Torch City Mayor-Governor Malcolm. We've come to an agreement that individuals within the Church are deliberately misinterpreting, rewriting and tampering with the theological basis of our faith to serve pro-Imperial ends... I can tell you we're not just going to let them continue.

SEN. AL TOMMOROW-NEVER-KNOWS D. MARTIN (UNITY-CR): ...can you elaborate further?

BAUER: No, I don't think I will.

He also addressed the question of what to do with those who hold overtly pro-Imperial views;

BAUER: Can the senator from Frederick Island stand up, place his hand on his chest, and officially testify to the Senate that he possesses no loyalty or conviction towards the pro-Imperial garbage he has spouted in these halls for the last three months? Go on Senator, just do it.

SEN. BLAKE THE-EIGHT-DIMENSIONS W. SEPTU (FAP-FI): What is the meaning of this?

BAUER: I have tolerated your singular presence in this Chamber because I do not have the power to question the will of your constituents... but they're not your constituents now, are they?

BAUER: You know what? You'd have everyone else in here shot if you could have your way, because I know that's what Powell would do. I grow tired of you. ZAKKIES!

BAUER: Guards, take him outside!

[SOLDIERS GRAB, DRAG THE SENATOR FROM FREDERICK ISLAND OUT OF THE CHAMBER]

Afterwards, he would briefly return to discussing matters concerning pan-Euphemian unity before dismissing the Senate - presumably, the last session he intends to hold for "a fair enough amount of time".

BAUER: ..decades of separation have splintered the Euphemian people in many ways, but I sincerely believe that we are in the end-game of Euphemian separation. We still face many obstacles, of course, but if the recent performance of the Atlantic Empire indicates anything, it's that their fearsome Legions have been much less bite than we've been led to believe. Soon enough, their time will end, and it will leave... us. Those of us here whose governments preside over core Euphemian territory. In these past four and a half decades, tens of millions have died. They died in the name of the vain causes of individuals, religions, but too few because they were willing to lay down their lives to see their country's glories renewed. Ultimately, there is only one nation of peoples here: Euphemie. I pray that when the Atlantic Empire falls, and it will, we will be able to come together as Euphemians. I pray that we will be able to hold a Presidential election and begin rebuilding this great nation, so that it may be reborn like the phoenix. Now, now is when we must begin to rebuild ourselves.

LOUISA — Fire filled the skies of Turmenista early this morning as a joint Angecalian-Acasian-Akhmanari combined arms operation began on the Atlantic Archipelago. Within a few hours, Marinesia and the Coral Islands were seized by the AAF Naval Forces assisted by Acasian naval forces, whom seized Eastfield and Tosaki after conducting amphibious landings on the Coral Islands. Akhmanari nuclear submarines, supported by Acasian JAMSATs, quickly disabled Styx Island's AI systems with an overwhelming barrage of nuclear missiles.

Angecalian combined arms forces focused on the western half of the archipelago, acting in conjunction with mercenaries on the ground and defecting majority-Turmenistan military units, quickly brought the rest of the Archipelago under the control of a new, revolutionary government. With much of Arcadia's defenses disabled by EMP weaponry, Majority-Euphemian military units were slaughtered by the hundreds in nothing short of a massacre, supported by death squads and armed citizens alike. In the chaos, Governor-General Uhail God-Rodriguez-Atlantica Ramun al-Turqmeni was announced KIA, while Resident-Governor Dante Iglooghost Good-Kid-M.A.A.D.-City Clear-Tamei Whittaker placed on "permanent house arrest".

In their place, the new Republic of Turmenista was instated, with former soldier and revolutionary leader Ariana “Paz” Leopard-Skin-Pillbox-Hat Pulsar J. Magnifica placed as the Consul, an ancient position functioning as the head of state of the Republic. Advocating for a multiracial democracy and a strong center-left political platform, the new government is set to resume regular functions later this month, and will maintain amicable diplomatic standings with Angecalia, Acasia, and Akhmanar — the so-called "Triple A" Alliance.

No official response to the coup has been made yet from the Atlantic Empire or the Federal States of Euphemie. It is unclear whether or not Marinesia will remain under Akhmanari control, or if it will be left as an autonomous state.

Murder Your Euphemian Officers: Pogroms Erupt in Former Oesterra
June 9, 479 A.C.

Rockport (RNC) — In the aftermath of the Turmenistan Revolution, a series of copycat movements and factions have emerged in the Former Oesterra. Adopting a stance that would make the Oesterran Commissariat seem pleasant by comparison, these organizations have pushed for the 'complete and utter' genocide of Euphemian elements in Oesterra. Inspired by Admiral Áurea Shinoda Guedes' orders to Turmenistan revolutionaries issued the day before, 'Murder your Euphemian officers', Oesterrans have taken to doing exactly that. At 9:30 PM of June 8, Rockport Eye was abruptly rocked with gunfire in an apparent anti-Euphemian coup.

The coded message '#MYEO' was rapidly circulated by digital means in the aftermath, and suspicions of an anti-Euphemian coup were confirmed shortly thereafter with a televised address by MAJGEN. (ret.) James Caldwell "Jack" Nicholson. In it, he swore fealty to the Army of God, an Ourielist extremist group, and made it clear that former Empress of the West, Luna Haven, was being held hostage.

"We will not relent until the last Euphemian parasite is driven from Oesterra," He declared in the four-minute statement. "No longer will we pray to foreign presidents. No longer will we pray to false saints. Luna Haven has betrayed the Oesterran people, and sold our dignity to the Imperials. For this, she and her entire dynasty will pay in blood." General Nicholson followed this by executing the former Empress of the West on live television, before continuing. "To those Oesterran faithful, those brave patriots, you sons of old bygone glory: Murder your Euphemian officers. Smash the Euphemian roach. This message will repeat for the next thirty days."

In the aftermath of this act, it is believed that most forces loyal to Luna Haven have either gone rogue, defected to the Army of God, or sworn fealty to other members of the Haven family.

"The scale of the pogroms, and the casualties, are hard to gather concrete numbers on, due to how sudden they have been," Head of Vajrayan NGO PeaceLight Pratik Bhadoria said in a RNC interview. "Reasonable estimates at present are anywhere between the high hundreds to a few thousand. That does not sound like much, but we must note it has only been a day since these events have reportedly begun."

President Tiago Arruda Belchior faced backlash, with accusations of 'apathy' towards the pogroms being leveled towards him by many netizens. Recognizing the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Turmenista the previous day, Belchior's apparent response, or lack thereof, to the criticism was to publicize his workout regimen.

Wanguan Gang - On today's joint press conference in Wanguan Gang, Jinshan, the Navy Spokesperson of Jinshan Medical State had announced with the commander-in-chief of the Peoples Republican Force - Jinshan, General Wang Shizhong, that the Sinican-Jinshan Joint Strike Group had already departed for Rockport, soon to join force with the SRAN Pacific 5th Expedition Strike Group and the 3rd Pacific Carrier Battle Group. Due to operational security, however, both refused to comment on the routes and progress of the voyage. It is stated that the PRFJ would spearhead the military operation, while the Jinshanese component of the Joint Strike Group would focus instead on medical relief for Sinican forces and the civilians of the city.

In this press conference, Wang Shizhong had also announced an important news, revealing that the Sinican military, in fact, is in possession of the backup servers and data of the Oesterran Commissariat's Ryote system, which was hacked into and forcibly shut down by Sinican hackers around two months ago. In his reveal of the news, Wang also stated on behalf of the Sinican government that Sinica is willing to return said backup data as a transitional measure in future Oesterran economic restoration before transition to a stable cash currency system not jeopardized by Havenist incompetence.

Today, on behalf of our countries, we are here to announce that the Sinican and Jinshan people stands side by side with the cause of the Oesterran people in their valiant self-liberation from the chains of the Empire and the incompetent, inhumane and intolerable regime of the Haven family.

For too long, the Oesterran people had been enslaved, humiliated and treated like cattles by the Havens and their foreign patrons in the Atlantic Empire. The vulnerability of the Oesterran people's wealth under the Ryote farce set by the Havenist regime had served not only to prove their incompetence, but also how they never cared for the general welfare of the Oesterrans. The Havens are unfit to rule, if the Ryote alone is not enough to prove that, the many valiant hearts and minds of Oesterra rising against the tyranny will. In the sacred crusade of the Oesterrans to restore their country from these Havenist clowns and their imperial accomplices, the Sino-Jinshanese Joint Strike Group, with the hundreds of thousands of Sinican and Jinshanese troops across the Pacific, will become the strongest backing in their cause.

Break the chains, our Oesterran comrades, for the sword of judgement shall fall on the Imperial and Havenist rats! The fight may not be an easy one, and sometimes sacrifice would have to be made, but remember, the most elegant of plum blossoms would only blossom in the hardest winter. The Oesterran people are destinied to win this war, for the Havenist regime is already in their deathbed!

However, while we stand as one with the Oesterran cause, we must however admit that there exists minor differences between us and a few involved parties of the crusade. For one, it is impossible for us to condone the ongoing pogrom against Euphemian diasporas on the land of Oesterra, being the past victim to near continent-wide ethnic violence ourselves decades ago.

We acknowledge and recognize the differences existing between the Oesterran people and their Euphemian counterparts, but insist that ethnic violence will not serve to resolve the problem. We urge parties currently involved in such acts to consider the choice of peaceful deportation instead of ethnic cleansing. It is impossible for Euphemians to stay on this land anymore, then let them depart this land in peace, lest so the plains of Oesterra and our planet be haunted by more wandering specters of victims to ethnic violence.

Yet, do not be discouraged by our difference, for our goal to a free Oesterra against Havenists and the Atlantic Empire shall and will remain common.
