Overview

The United States of Silverdale is the southernmost nation in the region of Mystria. The people are known to have a spiritual connection with nature and develop a harmonic relationship with their people. As such, they maintain caring relationships with the spirits of nature, the development of civilization founded by the gift of Dahlia known as the potato and Adelio’s blessings for bountiful riches of the sea.

Silverdale was established by the wisdom and spiritual guidance of Aurora, who united the many races across the land to become one nation under the dale system. Within this harmonic balance, a Silveredalean and other races of Mystria such as the penguins of Icy Coast, Equloine humans, ponies of Cherial, the fey creatures, and many others found peace. However, after the disappearance of Aurora, the nation fell into disarray and leadership was placed in the once virtuous Regent Black Clover became mad with power. A destructive civil war took place in Silverdale as the republican rebels fought back against the mad king and its fascists goons, and freed the nation to become a republic. An age of liberty, freedom, and harmony was founded, and Silverdale became a shining beacon of light in the Southern Mystria Region.

In recent times, however, there is a growing dissatisfaction within the public towards the democratic system. The previous three presidential administrations broke many promises and roll back popular laws. A pledge for leadership and aid to the need across the land turned into internal focus and hypocritical inaction. A cynical and spiteful media who merciless changed the public eye against Former President Littlepip in her first time, and funded by pip’s political enemies. In time dubious time where it seems that nothing is done, a cry from change is in order. While President Fluffykins aims to ease the fears from varieties of terrorist threats and corners for the wellbeing of the republic, the worst has yet to come…The return of Princess Snow is an omen for the coming darkness of winter.

National Issues
Statehood and Representation of the Oceanic Seaborn

As the affairs of land and air had been managed, Silverdale has difficulties in maintaining its vast underwater territory. Beyond the reaches of the sealines between the coastal and island states, many of the seaborn folks lack the right to vote and are underrepresented due to lack of foresight and development for a significant patch of land in the Aurora Ocean and Snow Sea. Due to the great depths and lack of technology, a census of the actual population who is loyal to Silverdale is needed. Thus the debate comes in to reorganize the territories in the Aurora Ocean and Snow Sea to grant statehood to allow the many sea people to participate in elections, and federal development plans is needed.

Restoration of the Seasonal Throne

What plagued Silverdale into twelve years of discord and the civil war is the succession of the throne. While many believe that the heir must be related to the Queen and provide spiritual guidance to bring harmony between nature and the nations, others proclaim it is the right of one’s noble blood that is atoned. These debates faded away long after the revoke of the nobility, however, its echoes approached when Princess Snow resurfaced from the South Pole. The current debate is the position of the true heir’s position in Silverdale politics and the question of restoring the Seasonal Throne.

Homeland Security

With the recent monster attacks, assassination attempt of the president, and terrorist attacks, there is an ongoing debate on an increase of security and surveillance in Silverdale. While President Fluffykins and the Rose Party believe that it’s unnecessary and inflicts civil liberties, while a more effective means of combating its ideology and literal threat is required. Others criticized her that they need to watch over these groups to see a potential future threat would emerge.

Agricultural Land Reforms

From the food shortages from the Kraken Wars shown the nation that Silverdale is overly dependent on foreign imports of food of various kinds, such as tropical to cheaper food. The current issue is to reform to allow federal land sold off to farmers and increase incentive for food production such as potatoes, and fishing rights. Opposition from the green party and religious sect fears that the reforms would lead to great amount deforestation and the destruction of sacred groves.

Space Focus: Militarization

While Silverdale was not affected by the recent alien invasions across Mystria, there is a growing concern among the people and military officials of possible alien threats that may attack the nation. Trust in space friends is one thing, but there is no base or actual installed presence for a quick response to raids or full scale-invasions. Thus, the debate is to either establish a strong satellite and anti-orbital ship defense network, a space command force with a fledgling space fleet or not engage with astronomical affairs.

Strengthen Immigration policy of Midgard and beyond!

Silverdale promotes the opportunity for those who can make it into Silverdale from the poor to the skill to migrant into the land. However, the fantastic loophole of Summoners who call upon beings from other worlds to the recent increase of asylum seeking refugees from different planes of existence. Worries of the dangers of Summoners from the Mist continent and beings behind who wish to move arose, as questions of Fluffykins Administration policies roll in. While Fluffykins spoke that the Treefolk Summoners are in need for a place to say and potential skillful talents from beyond can help Silverdale, the Nationalists claims that terrorists and monsters within these flow of migrants would bring discord upon the nation.

Several panning camera shots showed one after the other: majestic forests, endless ice plains, small villages in the hinterlands, farms set against each other, and finally, a dramatic rising shot of Silver City. Suddenly, a soft but authoritative feminine voice starts speaking.

“The glories of Silverdale are many, and ever increasing. Princess Snow promises to bring us into an ever brighter future, as she brings new connections,” here, the camera switches to showing major cities in foreign cities; Berabil and Calihain from Rohane Alista, Calberona from Dyste, Imerburg in the Royal Federation, and Kurton in Kouralia. “New friends and resources will be at our fingertips, and with their aid, Silverdale will become safer, healthier, and wealthier,” Now the camera shows Silverdalean farmers waving, a pony scientist carefully making a mixture, and then a Sivlerdalean elf in a naval uniform, shaking hands with a Rohanian counterpart. “And the Radiant Dawn is the party to give you this bright future, children of Silverdale!”

A splash banner shows across the screen, “Vote Harmony Sweetheart- Vote for Radiant Dawn for congress” above a picture of Harmony looking both official and confident.

“This ad paid for by Stronger Connections RA-Silverdale,” could be read at the bottom.

The nations of Dyste and Silverdale have had a long standing relationship, ever since King Tyroth visited the Antarctic nation to meet Queen Aurora in the year 1462, which, alongside other nations, led to the formation of the Alliance of the Dragon Sea, in order to combat the threat of the Empire of Great Corneria. When the Imperial War ended, the alliance retained close ties until the 20th century, where Dyste’s internal problems led to a period of isolation and Queen Aurora’s disappearance ended up plunging Silverdale into a civil war a decade later. However, communications between the nations rekindled in the 1990’s thanks to the efforts of presidents such as Cynthia Luvgood and Sharena Goldenheart, and with the addition of Rohane Alista, the Alliance of the Dragon Sea was reformed in recent years. It was no surprise, then, that when Silverdale was to have a presidential election, many Dystans were interested to see how this would affect the nation and the newly reinstated alliance. As such, many of the candidates were offered a platform in Dyste to meet the new Prime Minister and to explain their views and ideals.

Winstara Gnomekicker was previously an advocate for species and foreigner’s rights before becoming the surprise successor to Zihark Jemson. The white-scaled kobold wore a fine black suit, being more fancily-dressed than most of his kind. He had offered the candidates the chance to meet him at the Drake’s Landing, a former Inn from the Age of Adventure repurposed as the personal residence of the Prime Minister, within the Knowledge District of Valitora, a short distance away from the Hall of Knowledge, the former Royal Library turned into the Parliament Office. The actual conference wouldn’t be until tomorrow, so those that arrived today would be offered lodging at the former inn. Winstara took a seat at one of the tables, patiently waiting for the first ones to arrive.

Within one tiny blink that Winstara had, a bubbly and eluviuse human woman appeared right in front of him! “I’m here Prime Ministerbold!” The white kobold faced the embrace and smothered of the very huggable Riley. Completed with a noserub! She quickly jumped back after the rather blunt and debatably rude movement, all with a cheerful smile on her sharp face. “¡The name is Riley Dragonlover, candidate for the winter office, at your service! So… I guess I’ll be saying in your little retrofitted house for tonight?”

Winstara was a little more used to foreign customs than most kobolds, but even he squirmed a bit at being hugged, but the rub did at least put him at ease. “Ahem… welcome, Ms. Dragonlover,” the kobold had a surprisingly deep and refined tone for a kobold, not quite the booming voice of a Draconid but still not what one might expect coming from such a small creature. “Regardless, I welcome you to our capital. As for lodging… yes indeed, it’s part of the reason I chose to make this inn my home… bold…” He cleared his throat; even he could lapse a bit into Kobosh dialect. “I would tell you about the history of Dyste and adventuring, but if I recall, you are Dystan by birth, so I trust you know about it already. I hope you enjoy your stay here.”

“I expect my visit will be quite pleasant!” Riley then narrowed her eyes and leaned over to the front door. “If a little routly with my rivals! But it should be alright.”

“Spare the hostility young lass.” The goatwoman spoke up. Winstara would quickly recognize the white goat beastling looking woman who carried a mouth of baggage, who is simply named “Aqua”. While this wasn’t her true name per say, that’s what everyone calls Aqua because of her mastery of the element of water. “As a fellow Silverdalean, you must remember to show humility and compassion to your rivals. The way of the populus is not that of the cruel and more dogmatic society.”

“Oh thanks grandma.” Riley snorted. “I’ll behave myself without any problem. O’kay?”

“Sure.” Aqua turned her attention back at the prime minister. “Ahem, I must stay that your home is quite humble for a leader in Dyste. I assume that you and the king have future plans for an official Prime Minister Mansion, yes?”

“Hornbold! … ahem… welcome, Ms. Loveheart.” Winstara cleared his throat. “I recall the stories of how you aided Queen Aurora during the time of the Imperial War, including meeting Mishera Val’Shorath. I happen to be an aficionado of the period,” the fact that the prime minister could say a word like ‘aficionado’ without any issues showed a stronger grasp on the language than expected.

“Ah, but I digress, you wish to know why I live here in a former inn.” The diminutive dragon stood on the table in order to get a clearer view of the goatwoman. “Actually, I chose this place myself. You may not know the historical significance to both Dyste and myself of this inn. See, when Dyste was being founded, we didn’t have a castle for the first few years; Lord Tyroth refused to put that ahead of making sure his subjects having homes themselves. As such, if you can believe it, this inn was the original royal residence! I suppose for an adventurer, this is as much home as any place. But as for myself, when my ancestors came to Dyste, one of them worked here in this very inn. You could say it is a Gnomekicker tradition… or traditionbold!”

“But don’t think this means this place is just some old tavern! We in Dyste still enjoy modern comforts…” Winstara said a few words in Draconic, and several of the taps in back poured drinks on their own, a television appeared from behind a panel, and while the chairs appeared to be old wooden ones, when sat on they were as comfortable as a modern sofa. “Classic aesthetics with modern convenience, this is the Dyste I strive for.”

“A wonderful vision you aim for Dyste, Mr Gnomekicker.” Aqua replied with a straight face. “There is a limitation on how technology and its materials can go without the need of research, and the availability of resources.” She strolled over to sit down on top of the wooden seat, her pudgy rear tested the strength and coziness of it! “Aaah… No wooden chair can replicate the clushon of a sofa like this without the aid of magic.”

As Aqua rambled on by the magical auras and examination of the room, the prime minister almost forgot of the strange robotic maid and her neko master. The robot girl was cutie with her silver hair and a fancy maid outfit, while the woman in the white military style uniform was none other than the CEO of PEGASUS, Isabella Springwood. She seemed to be not too impressed by the goat demon’s little antics, and coughed up. “A humble vision that one can admire from the past, yes. However, for the present, one needs to strive to lay the foundation of a new landmark to see.”
Isabella gestured for her maiden to signal the other robot servants to bring in the luggage. “Beyond such views, I am glad to meet you in person Prime Minister Winstara. CEO Isabella Springwood, and this here is the latest of Orange Lab’s creation: Fubuki maid.”

“Fubuki is here to serve!” Fubuki announced. “Equipped with magitek of magic hand, and other useful features to keep the house fully functional, and clean.”

The Prime Minister gave a bow, “Ah, it is wonderful to meet you!” He looked over the maid; he recalled his brother meeting an automaton of sorts from New Dornalia. Both of these were quite different from the golems made by the Jarlsberg Institute. “I am of course aware of your reputation, Ms. Ashwood, running one of Silverdale’s largest PMC’s and robotics labs is no small feat. I hope that if you do become President, you can put those experiences to good use.”

“If the people of Silverdale deemed I’m worthy enough to become the president, then my talents shall be delivered and be of good used.” Isabella replied. “Although it is not to say that I’d be available to perform my current duties as CEO outside of the campaign during my visit. Mr. Gnomekicker.” Isabella tried to keep a straight face and kept her little meowie snickers from leaking. It was a little tough. “While I may be limited for my time as a businesswoman for my stay in Dyste, I can provide contact information if you’re interested in our company and our associates in Hex Corps.”

“Well, that sort of business is best left to consultation with our Minister of Finance,” they still used some of the economic models from the original Royal Accountant, Onyx. “But I can certainly see what I can do. I know that some Dystans has employed some of those groups when we have had business in Silverdale, whether they are yours or the Arctic Knights.” He recalled some sort of rivalry between those two. “Regardless, I imagine that if you become president, you might have to have someone else take over your CEO duties while in office?”

“My sister Camala shall assume such position while I am in office yes. She is capable enough to keep our dealings in Dyste in favorable, and quite the angel I’ll say.” Isabella answered.

“That is quite fortunate, indeed. Now, I know some of you might have expected Kinginid… erm, His Majesty to have greeted you himself,” the king was known for being quite personable, “But unlike my predecessor, I wish to handle some diplomatic matters personally. Besides, you will have the chance to see him tomorrow, and his castle is a short distance from the capital anyways. And either way, as an elected official myself, I am more familiar with the battle you are facing now,” granted, Winstara did not so much get elected as PM but rather he took over from Prime Minister Jemson, but even then he faced stiff competition from more prominent officials, like Kyla Waterscale. “I am pleased one of my first acts as Prime Ministerbold-” he coughed, “Is to be host to you.”

“Well well well.” Riley laughed. “It’s wonderful that you allowed us to come here! I bet the food and bed for tonight is free as well.”

The front door opened once again as three Feywild Guardians floated inside the Inn. It wasn’t too hard to figure out which one was Crystalstar. The blue hair and ample figure shined out from the red spiky chopps of the flat and male looking one! The last one was their daughter who had an emerald bushy liften ponytail. Crystalstar smiled as she gave a bow to the Prime Minsterbold, and smiled.

“Greetings friend. I hope we’re not late to the party.” Crystalstar coughed. “I’m Representative Crystalstar, and this here is my lovely family.”

“The name is Calem.” Calem replied. “And here is…”

“Yeah, yeah, I can handle it. I’m Vera, the best girl here.” Vera smiled brightly.

The Prime Minister was taken aback for a moment, but regained his composure quickly; kobolds were sometimes spooked by fae, seemingly by reflex. “Greetings! No, you are still fine…” he noticed that Crystalstar wore a similar outfit to Fubuki. “I see Silverdalean fashion trends are quite interesting… I think I have seen some people in Dyste wear similar attire, so I suppose it does have some popularity… ahem. Regardless, I welcome you all to Dyste! You need not worry about accommodations; there should be plenty for you all; our beds are adjustable, as they need to be when Dyste had a wide variety of species living within. If there are any particular needs for sleeping or eating, please let me know.”

“Glad to hear that my friend.” Crystalstar replied. “As for my maiden attire, I prefer it as my key suit as a humble servant for the nation of Silverdale and its people. I care for the people back home in Derpicorn and represent their interest, and now aim to become the hardworking steward of the nation.” Crystalstar winked and gave a sly grin.” I’ll ensure you that my intentions are pure than the career politicians and those to lie in public. Silverdale prefers honesty from its leadership to place their faith in. Failure to do that would lead our people’s loyalties and compassion misplaced to strongmen that would break the norms of our democracy.”

“Ah, I can understand completely, Ms. Crystalstar,” Winstara was all too familiar with this. “I too am a servant of Dyste and was in part chosen by my predecessor for my commitment to my values. Many people think Dyste is only a place for -bolds, but I think it can be a place for anyone,” granted he still felt averse to gnomes, but the prejudices between the two species ran deep within centuries of animosity. “I would trust that you all show honesty and speak your true feelings in tomorrow’s conference, not just for your own sake but for the people you hope to lead.”

“Indeed. I pray that Dystian conference and its debate hour is civilized, and well informative. While laughter and empathy of a personal talk with humor is good, I hope your nation has not succumb to the seduction of extermination. The people of Silverdale are worried about our honesty, and if our elected are truthful and wish to progress the nation to the next era. A game show that of the herd is dangerous not only to the public forum, but also lower the value of our people wish to understand our campaign. Not to mention the flames of judgement may be sharper if the window is too short.” Crystalstar glanced over to Riley with sympathetic eyes. “Surely, you faced such matters in the press, Lady Dragonlover.”

“Oh sure.” Riley whistled. “A lot of speculation on my ‘true ideology’ and my positions being in different lanes on the political axis. I’m not bothered by that. In fact, I find it humorous.”

“I trust that the people of Silverdale will learn your true feelings as the meeting, Ms. Dragonlover,” the kobold nodded, “As you are a Silverdystan, I would hope you are giving both our nations a good name in this election. Whether you win or lose, you all can show the people of Silverdale, Dyste, and whoever else is watching what sort of issues are important to you. I believe we are going to be having one more candidate staying here, so when they arrive we can have dinner; I trust at least Ms. Dragonlover is aware of the Dystan tradition?”

“I am aware of this Dystan tradition, yes.” Riley replied. “I hope that our last expected guest doesn’t arrive wait.”

The last candidate to accept the invitation took five minutes to arrive! Ironhorn Johnson, nicknamed by the great horns that were iron-like in appearance, opened the door and told a little butterfly to scatter away into the outside winds. The dark brown cattlefolk was huge, husky, bull-like and covered in shaggy hair that made him more feral than the typical softie cowfolk of Silverdale. He wore a colorful dapling autumn robe with massive fur and long fur sleeves. If the rumors were true, then Ironhorn’s ember eyes changes with the season.

The second cattlefolk was a smaller light tanned woman who cheerfully smiled as she entered. She had a red egyptian garments with golden jewelry with gems on her belt and neckline wrapped around her light weight body, and a small golden circle around her head. While she appeared to be royalty with the straighten and smoothen out black hair, there was a worldly and divine aura as if she descended from the heavens.

“Kept you waiting, huh?” Ironhorn joked. “This bull had a small detour, but we’re here at last.”

“Yes, because you had to save a few butterflies.” The female cow jabbed. “But yes, I am Hathor, and this here is my parenter Ironhorn.”

“Moobold… ahem, I mean, welcome! I trust your trip went smoothly otherwise? I heard that there were some Bovinians arriving, but I must say that I didn’t expect to see a druid or a… hm…” he wasn’t quite sure if Hathor was a cleric or something else, “Regardless, I know someone will be happy to see more. Djalle, our preparations are ready!”

Another cowfolk arrived, this one tall, a bit on the pudgy side but with clear muscles, with white and black patterned hair. She was dressed in jeans and a plaid shirt with a cowgirl hat on, and carried in a cart full of foodstuffs, which had a picture of a cowfolk that looked similar to her but with red hair on the side, with a clear magic effect glowing around the side, which Aqua at least would be aware helped preserve the food and kept it at an ideal heat. “I hope you’re all hungry, Daisy’s Ranch is providing our finest for this event.”

“A beacon of the goddess?” Hathor spoke up. “Oh, I’m a Summoner and a loving partner for Ironhorn here. If this body ain’t appealing, I could fix it. Nevertheless, let’s see what preparations of this party you have instore for us.”

“That is wonderful Djalle.” Aqua clapped her hands. “I hope you made pumpkin pie, and some great T-bone steaks!”

“You know it,” Djalle opened up the cart to reveal exactly what Aqua asked for, among other things. “Oh, don’t be too shocked, we had you fill out that little survey on the way here to make sure you got what you desired. Dystans value meals quite a lot, so we wanted to make sure your needs were accounted for, ‘sall. Say,” she looked over Aqua with some interest, you wouldn’t happen to be the same Aqua that served Queen Aurora? I’m seen some shows and comics about the archmage and trusted companion of the queen.”

“It is perfectly fine, Hathor,” Winstara nodded. “As a matter of fact, Djalle’s grandmother I heard had a similar taste for jewelry and clothing like that. She was a famous Bovinian warrioress who fought alongside the king himself, and it part of the reason her family’s ranch is so well-regarded. Either way, I hope the food we have brought is to your liking, everyone.”

Hathor tapped her chin and then snapped her figure. “I recall that Djalle’s grandmother is Gugulanna. She’s quite humble, beautiful, and more warrioress… Oh, she's quite tame and unable to loosen herself up. Thankfully she doesn’t transform into a lioness killer.” She chuckled lightly.

“Djalle’s bloodline comes from the divine yes.” Aqua stood up as she approached Djalle. “And yes, I served Queen Aurora and keep an eye on her whereabouts long side of the princess over the years. I suppose it time away from civilization, but I’m glad you read some comics about me… hopefully they’re favorable of me or so.” She blushed.

“Well nowadays…” Riley chuckled. “I advise you don't look at the old and current political cartoons.”

“Oh please don’t remind me of those….” Aqua glared at the wall for a second. “One of those cartoons gave me oversized proportions that made me into a slug.”

Djalle was a little taken aback there were people in Silverdale who knew of the connection her family had, but it wasn’t a secret, and a Bovinian who dealt with celestials and a legendary archmage were more likely than most to know about that, “Y-yeah, I try not to make a big deal out of it, but Ma says it’s part of the reason the ranch is so successful. It was gifted to my grandma by the king himself, so it’s special to us.” She started to set out the food, including some Dystan favourites like prime rib, pasta, roasted chicken, and of course sandwiches. “Heh, I might have t’show ya some of those comics, Aqua, I think you’ll find them interestin’. Admittedly sometimes they still do mess up your proportions, like makin’ ya more like Sailor Chione in that way, but they usually show you bein’ a loyal aide to the queen and a good teacher t’your students, like Glacia Invernos and Hilda the Demonologist Arcanist.”

“I know a thing or two about strange political cartoons… some tend to give me an oddly-shaped muzzle!” Winstara seemed to have some self-consciousness about that. “Ah, but I digress… I suggest everyone dig in and eat to your heart’s content, tomorrow we shall be sending you to the chasebolds - erm, wolves, and letting you and the other candidates field any questions our journalists wish to ask! This is work big chance to make a good impression on the people, so I suggest you make the most of it!”

The Silverdaleans gathered around for Crystalstar to speak up at the table. “I thank Gugalanna whose harvest brought the food we have on this table, and the beautiful rewards that Airius gave us.” Crystalstar said as she blessed the food with purification magic. “Djalle have honor us with this gift and her presence, so we give thanks as well.”

With that blessing at the table done, Riley snatched a large piece of T-bone steak just before Aqua could and the feast began!

Djalle was all-too familiar of blessings to her grandmother, seeing as they did so in her household every mealtime, and it had become more commonplace as the years went by, but hearing her own name made her blush, “I-it’s nothing, really…”

Winstara himself made a sandwich of his own using some of the ribs, taking the bones off and using the meat to make himself a ribwich, a Dystan favourite. He was glad so many of the candidates accepted his hospitality, something Dystans valued highly, not to mention the feasts done since the times of Dyste’s early years. This boded well for their performance in tomorrow’s conference with the Dystan public.

RMT Editorial: The Communist Party is ideal for Silverdale

Image
Hana Redstar , Presidential candidate for The Communist Party

It seems rather illogical for a national newspaper based in the United Kingdom of Malgrave, a nation with that until just recently had an extensive government agency dedicated to dissuading its own population from spreading information about the Communist cause, and waged an extensive civil war against a self-proclaimed communist nation in the Socialist Republic of Malgrave to write an editorial backing The Communist Party in the upcoming Silverdalean Presidential Elections, however, after a long period of examination of the various political groupings contesting the Silverdalean Presidential Election the RMT Editorial Board have come to the stark realisation that The Communist Party presents the best legislative path to bring wide-ranging benefits to both the Silverdalean Republic and the United Kingdom of Magrave.

If one looks at the candidates running in the Silverdalean Presidential Election you can see a disturbing trend emerge of the candidates, as several candidates seem to wish to take advantage of an idealised image of the past to gain political traction, with one of those issues being the restoration of the monarchy. It isn't unheard of for political parties to try and draw up an idealistic notion of the past to attract voters, one that glorifies all the achievements of the past without noting the struggles, like someone noting the heroics of the Malgravean civil war without noting the pain caused by failures of Operation Tempest or the fear and unrest within the nation that led to the strike within the Territorial Defence Force and the Battle of Pakosc.

It is this overtly optimistic vision of history in combination with movements to try and reform the present in that image that presents a clear and present danger to the stability and social solidarity of the Silverdalean nation, as implementing such a divisive issue to attempt to recreate some is almost guaranteed to cause civil unrest and economic uncertainty both within Silverdale and the Mystrian region.

In addition to this overly-optimistic look back at the past other candidates in the Presidential election seem to believe that building aggressive spacefleets and offering tax-cuts will be the solution to Silverdale's issues, with the self-proclaimed pro-science party engaging in shameful capitalistic antics by supporting the continuation of private military gangs and scientific research not primarily organised by the state.

The Communist Party in Silverdale offer a comprehensive alternative to the destabilising platform put forward by those in Radiant Dawn and the Forward Party. It's ambition to open up Silverdale to the peaceful exploration of the stars is a welcome political decision that will open up another sector of the Silverdalean economy to investment from Malgrave, Dornalia and other peaceful spacefarring civilisations that might be turned off by the overtly imperialistic ambitions of other factions space efforts.

In addition to the promotion of a peaceful space project The Communist Party also refuse to look back at the past and instead focus on creating a better future for all Silverdaleans, with the collectivisation of the agriculture sector a welcome reform, and one that the Silverdalean could rely upon the United Kingdom of Malgrave for support as a nation that has implemented similar reforms in the past. The Communist Party backing of statehood for ocean people, and their firm stance against the restoration of the monarchy is also another point in their favour, as The Communist Party once again are not beholden to false images of the past.

It is the opinion of the Royal Malgravean Times that The Communist Party and Hana Redstar have the policy, ambition and energy required to lead Silverdale into the future.

Silverdalean Presidential Election perks interest from Malgravean politics

The Silverdalean Presidential Election is gaining international attention

When Eliot Reymont was named as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Progressive Unity Party politician expressed an interest in strengthening the position of the United Kingdom of Malgrave on the international stage, and since that announcement several months ago the Foreign Minister has made several successful outreaches to increase the relationship between Malgrave and such powers as Kouralia, Dornalia, Crystal Spires, Rohane Alista, Dyste and more recently the C'tani in an attempt to firmly establish Malgravean national security and continue the long-record of economic growth that have occurred since the PUP took power in the 2000 General Election.

In addition to making official alliances on a governmental level, however, the Progressive Unity Party has also been making contact with like-minded political organisations in foreign nations. Eliot Reymont herself sparked some commotion in the Dornalian Republic when she spoke at a political conference for the Verdant Front, a relatively minor left-wing political party that shares similar political values as the PUP, and senior members from the party and the Most Illustrious Glorious Confederation of Proud Malgravean Proletarians (MIGCPMP) have reportedly visited The Republic of Breheim in order to give expertise and organisational support to the fledging Progressive Unity Party, a minor political faction once again inspired by the Malgravean PUP.

It seems as if the Progressive Unity Party has seen something in The Communist Party of Silverdale and the pragmatic and rather non-controversial policies that were previously highlighted by the Editorial Board of the Royal Malgravean Times, with the RMT being contacted by anonymous officials within the Progressive Unity Party detailing the transfer of financial support and organisational teams to The Communist Party in Silverdale, with the Young Progressive League quite heavily involved in efforts to improve the campaigning machine of the Silverdalean political party.

It is also known that the Communist Party won't just be receiving support from the Progressive Unity Party, as party officials from both the Malgravean Socialist Party and the Malgravean Green Party have stated to the Royal Malgravean Times that they are currently working together to send similar levels of support to the Silverdalean Communists, with a representative from the Malgravean Socialist Party stating that the Communist Party in Silverdale presented the most comprehensive platform to help workers prosper, and the Green Party praising the environmental and egalitarian credentials of The Communist Party and Hana Redstar .

In an unsurprising move, the Most Illustrious Glorious Confederation of Proud Malgravean Proletarians (MIGCPMP) has also released a statement that they'll be supporting the Communist Party in the Silverdalean Presidential election, with the MIGCPMP pledging to support any work that went to assist the electoral struggle of the Communist Party, and claiming that they would also send organisers from their head office in Pakosc and Epping.

It is unknown who the Technology Party will support in the upcoming Silverdalean elections, however sources close to the Technology Party leadership state that they have been left incredibly disappointed by the overtly pro-private sector message put forward by the Forward Party so far and have attempted to persuade the leadership of the Forward Party to put forward a political message more in-line with Malgravean values, with leadership figures torn between the Rose Party and the Communist Party should the Forward Party fail to change course.

The Conservative Action Party are also yet to support a candidate in the Silverdalean election, and sources within the party have claimed that the party itself is torn between supporting the Freedom Party and the Celestial Harmony Party. It is suspected that the Conservative Action Party will agree to send delegations to support both the Freedom Party and Celestial Harmony Party, although the divided nature of the support might decrease its effectiveness.

It is is unknown how The Communist Party and the wider Silverdalean election will react to this wide-ranging offering of support from three of the largest political parties in Malgrave, alongside further assistance from the main trade union confederation, however it is expected that this support will continue until polling day.

The Monster Loving Party appreciates the full support and donation from the USA government. As for the condition of where the funds will be directed, I must admit that a small part of the funds will be allocated to other needs of the campaign. Our supporting base is low in comparison to the well-established parties, but I recognize the danger of Silent Moonstone who may defy our democracy and image to led Silverdale in a worse off state. This is especially true for minorities in the population who has roots in monsters like demons, and other beings who are less accepted in the public eye would become marginalized and barred from our society. These nationalist ideals must not rule over our society, and I hope that our ads and message will remind every creature what friendship means to all beings.

This is a most generous offer you have donated to our campaign. I must clarify that this campaign platform is independent and free from partisan influence from the ruling establishment. As such, when the election reaches its conclusion, the majority of the funds will be given to charity, donations to programs that like the Vestal Aid, payment for the campaign cost, and saving for the next election. I thank you for your aid.

(Note: Collab with LK)

After some consideration, the site chosen by Parliament to host the Silverdalean press conference was at the Mishera Theater in the Rultah District in Valitora. Usually used for stage plays, the domed theater was fitting with magical effects that allowed the voices for those on stage to project across the area, as well as illusion enchantments that allowed them to be easily visible across the theater. Podiums for every candidate were placed upon the stage, while reporters from Dyste, Silverdale, and elsewhere filled the front row seats awaiting for their questions to be answered by the candidates.

Backstage, Dystan Prime Minister Winstara Gnomekicker stood with those he had invited to stay at his residence last night, “Now, I hope everyone will remain polite and civil today. I know Dyste is famous for our stories on adventurers, but a brawl in the middle of the city is hardly the most becoming way to showcase your views to the public. People across Mystria wish to know more about you and your goals, so do your best to impress them.”

First in line for at the podium was the youngest lass of the crowd. “Hola Dyste!” She gave out her love gesture to the crowd. “It’s great to be here and meet all my fans! Miranda Songbird loves you all!” She allowed the section of her supporters in the theater to give out a thunderous roar. “Thank you, thank you! Now, Mystria must be aware of one of silverdaleans crowning achievements in history: gaming. It’s a fact that Silverdaleans have created the media of video games and our influence from the simple games like pong, to well acclaimed like Starcrafts and Frostbite had spread across the globe. But with it alongside other advancements in technology came the cost of dubious companies like Emerald Dragon and other practices that ravaged not only gaming, but tech as a whole. Once simple games with saves and basic functions became so costly that it became a blackhole for people’s wealth, and other horrible database explosion. While the bubble crashed, many Silverdaleans and Mystrians are still targeted by these practices that would exploit people.

As Silverdale sets the example alongside other Mystrian nations for our high-tech sector, we need to be responsible for the spread of it across the nation and care for our people. How will Silverdale share its culture of video games as art if it contains some temptation as loot boxes that would honestly, just give you little value. Us Silverdaleans can do better, and pave the way to fasten the advances to protect our consumers from such greed. I, Miranda, will do that with a loving passion!”

The second candidate was a moonstone coated pegasus with a well-groomed mane, and a golden moon crescent on her forehead. She simply snickered and smiled at the audience after Miranda’s special issue. “It’s great to be present here in Dyste.” Silent Moonstone spoke up. “I love the people of Dyste. They’re quite wonderful and vibrate what made the nation of adventures possible. It’s no surprise that us Silverdaleans find cooperation and harmony with Dyste so-well, it is our keystone friend after all. Oh Luna bless us all.” Silent Moonstone paused for the obvious cheer from the crowd. At least from her supporter base.

“Now I, Silent Moonstone, is a mare for the people. Us folks of Silver and Winter shine with the wonders and love, but have a humble heart. Silverdale values the harmony of the land and friendship with others, as the country’s foundation was built on it. But as of late, our nation began to drift away to play with petty partisan affairs that were indecisive and made our nation as clowns. Our last president cried like a baby than being tough to a slaver nation. At the same time, being too gung ho about it.” Silent Moonstone shook her head. “And that’s the liberal party for y’all. A two faced party that wants peace but war at the same time. As for Fluffykins, oh she’s only in it for her desire to be better than her father, not for the well being of the nation. Silverdale desires better. Silverdale needs to become a great nation for Mystria to see, and I’ll be the mare who can do it!”

After Silent Moonstone’s speech, Fluffykins gave one tiny death glare at her rival. At least until on cue, turned to face the group.” Oh any mare can say ‘I’ll make our nation great’, but if you’re looking for a pony who holds credibility on how to run a country, your current president shall deliver it.” Fluffykins gave a sly smirk at the equally peeved Silent Moonstone.

“As I, President Fluffykins de Rose, have run this excellent country for my term and build our nation as peaceful and free from the threats at bay. However, there is much work to be done for our nation to move forward. “

The next in line was Crystalstar herself! “I must remind my opposition that us Silverdaleans must show kindness and uphold the traditions we hold so dearly. A humble public servant serves the nation and strive for its virtues, which I Crystalstar pledges to show the world that Silverdale is a bringer of peace and strengthen our friends here in Dyste!” Crystalstar spoke in a sincere and soft smile to the audience.

The first of the two short people on the stage jumped up from their booster block to get a clear view on the audience and camera was the little man named Harmony! As his nicknamed suggested, he had a round ‘potato’ face with crystal blue eyes that pierces all who he eyes, and a well brushed blonde hair. “Greetings people of Dyste! I am happy to see the people of this proud nation who is ruled by a wise and strong king for countless millennia. As our nations have crossed paths before, Silverdale once too had a queen of spiritual enlightenment and wisdom from Aurora that built our nation to be one of the best countries in Mystria. It is tragic that we lost her seventy years ago, but with the return of Princess Snow, her forevision and spiritual guidance will return to our nation to posterity. Our democracy is strong, but without a guiding hand who can avert the wrath of winter and bring balance, our nation will be at risk of corruption and the squables of petty politicians who are bought by those with wealth, and who are spiteful to the very people who elected them. Such a corruption must be rooted out.”

The second shortie of the candidate roster was none other in a tuxbold! “Hello there bolds and many other types of bolds out there in Dyste! Michal the tuxbold is very jolly to be here! Dyste is always a good partner to Silverdale, and there is much to do for both of our states! To build a future, I aim to build our friendship out of generosity and increase how the market flows to elevate the economy to a great standard. Not to mention that to support freedom, we need to ease up needless barriers, and laws that will allow people to live more happier!”

Once the penguin finished up his speech with the obvious penguin section of the crowd cheered, next up was the goat woman herself! “I am flattered to be here in Dyste today. I’m Aqua Loveheart of the Monster loving party is here to remind the people of our nations is that we must strive and make progress to bash barriers that will seperate each races. As our nation is built on empathy, it is important that we don’t take it for gradated and forget our values when it comes to the real challenge. Even when there are true monsters who seeks to undermine our harmony and allow us to succumb to baseless fears.”

The white eared fox woman stood up as she smiled and waved. “Thank you for allowing me to be here today Dyste. I do deeply care for anyone here so dearly. I Kaga Blizzardheart wish to strengthen our ties with Dyste as us Silverdaleans have a position to aid and protect our friends in this region. I’ll remind my fellow Silverdaleans that in order to maintain peace, we cannot isolate ourselves with the troubles in the world, and need to rely on the strength of our people to face the global challenges. With a strong foundation, not only we can aid our friends, but provide aid and development!”

The bullman simply rolled his eyes as he turned to the audience. “Howdy Dyste! I, Ironhorn Johnson, wish to speak of the importance of our nations roles to protect the environment. While the wealth and growth does appeal to many, it is without cost as it demands the removal of our natural resources. We share the same world, and must care for the creatures and wonders. Without it, our progress will be only short lived before we live in a hollow world.”

Isabella was not amused by Ironhorn’s speech as she steps up to the plate. “While we can agree that environmental protection is important, without a smart policy, we’ll be hold back from proper growth. As I, Isabelle Ashwood, have the knowledge and business wisdom to help pave the way for a brighter future. Our nations, while glamorus, lags behind the more advanced societies of the Rohanian and Malgraveans, which threatens to beat us with their goodies. What I plan to do is to make our nation competitive in these markets, and raise our standards higher and even surpass them as well.”

Riley jumped up as she waved at Dyste. “Hiya folks! Riley Dragonlover is here to show the love of all Dystans everywhere in this land! I hope you’re all doing very well today! Now, as your awesome Riley is here to tell you that to show the real foundation of friendship is no one sided, or bad deals, but as equal and respectable friends!”

And last, it was Hana the communist elf! The dragon elf had a loose open suit, a somewhat messy long hair with the ‘stupid curve’ hair piece the loops over her. “Hello there people of Dyste. I’m Hana Redstar, and it’s wonderful to be here. While this may sound odd for the likes of me to be here, I do value the peace and construction of a good foundation for a more equal world where all the common folks can live. As such, I do wish to revolutize our Silverdalean society to be even truly live in harmony without the strife that plagues our nations from the rough life of a farmer, to the common fisherbirds. Not to mention the increase of our growth for education for both of our nations. Under my knowledgeable work as a teacher, I can assure you all that this can be achieved!”

The Dystans gave varying degrees of applause and cheers, though it did appear that some of the candidates had more support than others, or at least they made more noise. If was now time to field some questions from the press. The first one to standup was a Donkey Beastling in her forties, wearing thick glasses and a grey vest; she held up a silver box, which the Silverdaleans, being more familiar with magic items, might recognise this as a recording device, “Brenna Claymore, of the Valitora Times. First off, I would like to thank you all for being here today in Dyste to speak to us. Now, one of the biggest news stories in recent times coming out of Silverdale was the reappearance of Princess Snow, eldest daughter of Queen Aurora and heir apparent to the throne. With this in mind, how does this affect your policies going forward?”

“As President of Silverdale, Snow’s official goals is to protect our nation from its current enemies and is rather vague on her position on this issue. I’m cautious about this whole rush towards restoration as it places a lot of trust in Snow who was known to be secluded, and what constitutional power will be bestowed upon. Afterall, there is a rather spicy chance of her deciding ‘to prevent the future’ she needs to dissolve congress, which was a power that Aurora had in the past.” President Fluffykins stated.

“When peace is found however…” Potato spoke up. “Our people needs to honor what was rightfully oathed to the Princess, as she is the entrusted successor and our past leaders assumed no successor will return due to their absence. A possibility only distracts us from the true honest mercy and care she will do to enrich our culture, and protect our nation effectivity from monsters.”

“As for my policies regarding that issue.” Hana peaked up. “There’s no need to admire a princess and toss her a crown. Our nation have abolished such a title, and we need to show her that is approachable, and can be friends with commoners as equals then some evaluated queen. That will make our nation more unique, and allow even the lowest of people to rise up to be leaders on their own merits. Not by one’s birth.”

For Dystans, the issue of Princess Snow was an interesting one, as Dyste itself had become a constitutional monarchy in the time between Silverdale’s Civil War and the modern day. While Winstara was the head of government, King Tyroth remained the head of state, and Dysans saw no reason to have that changed. So there was a not-insignificant amount of people in Dyste who thought that Silverdale should adopt the same policy. That said, the next person to speak was a Draconid with brass scales, who put his arm to his chest and bowed his head before speaking, “Jangah Brasswing, of the Traveler’s Rest,” this news site he mentioned was one with a focus on international affairs, “Our Prime Minister has recently been in talks with the Silverdalean government about reinstating the Alliance of the Dragon Sea, the centuries-old alliance formed during the times of the Imperial War, as well as potentially allowing new members into it, such as Rohane Alista. What are your views on this matter?”

“It does sounds promising.” Silent Moonstone gestured. “An alliance with friends is always good for our nations. Although our values might not be shared by everyone. Look at the Rinytars, they can like cut-throats and will put us at odds, or not tribute much at all.”

“You speak little of the Rinytarians.” Kaga shook her head. “Our nation requires the aid of friends and potential allies, and with the establishment of the Alliance of the Dragon Sea, we can remind the region that we can uphold our honor and friendship. It is vital that we do so.”

Fluffykins nodded. “My administration have worked tiresome to construct the foundation for the reestablishment of this alliance, and I aim to build a unified force within the alliance for our people to join in a single force. There is much to be done at this matter, of course.”

Some Dystans were still unsure of Prime Minister Gnomekicker’s willingness to re-establish the alliance, but overall the potential threat of a new Cornerian Empire was one that outweighed their concerns. “Journalistbold!” One of the kobolds wearing a hat with a PRESS tag on it. “Questionbold?”. Jangah Brasswing cleared his throat, “Ah, this is my co-worker, Trikfrid. His question was… ‘There has been a lot of talk about making a Space Fleet among your candidates. For those of you interested in doing so, what are you plans for this, and do you feel it is worth the potential costs?”

“We need to make an epic space fleet to protect ourselves from the roaming empires from the galaxy of course. Surely you folks remember how devastating one space empire can walk in, and cause so much discord upon Imerieta and Malgrave. Sure, you might ask for allies, but they can leave if some sate in the region nuke another, and abandon the whole region like what happens in the Pony Lands. So we must build our own forces to keep that from happening in the future.” Miranda said.

“With technology beyond our reach? Why bother with that?” Silent Moonstone made a sly grin. “After all, it was the Crown Alliance’s foolish actions to bring the wrath aliens on themselves. Silverdale doesn’t bother with the affairs of E.T., so why invest in so much money that it will drain in the toilet? Now what I purpose is a cheaper and easier satellite network that can fight off both our enemies on orbital, and avoid the affairs of aliens.”

“There is no avoidance from nations beyond Earth.” Michal protested. “ One of our key allies is the Dornish people who have supplied us with technology, and aided others as well. So it’s not beyond our reach to obtain, as a good business deal can allow our nation to hold an advanced starship fleet.”

Hana shook her head by her opponents statements. “National defense is key for our nation of course. However, we shouldn’t arm ourselves to justify such a leap into the unknown. Our nation needs to focus on exploration and see what is out there. To discover the cosmos and build diplomatic relationships with aliens will be far more important, and avert the destruction of war.”

“There is a compromise with both policies.” Isebella said. “An unarmed and automouses fleet of drones and exploration vessels can save many lives from the unforgiving conditions of the cosmos. This will save much of the cost and will be a great leap forward.”

“What I plan to enact on my next term is a series of steps to construct our industry, and use our annual steps to build the first ships to protect orbital fleet around our space and beyond the moon.” Fluffykins said. “It will be important for our nation to have a long term plan to have a successful new branch to face such threats from orbit and beyond. In addition, a good increase in our national budget to promote both space exploration, and other aspects of our economy.”

The Dystans were considering themselves whether to ask for aid from the Dornalians in order to build a space program of their own. Regardless, it was something Mystrian nations had to strongly consider. This time the donkey beastling reporter has another question, “So, about the First Order of Mystic Guardians, the force Silverdale has formed to deal with extraplanar missions… what shall happen to them in the case that you are elected President?”

“As President, I’ll enact on new policies to help direct our goals to keep more of negotiations with the extraplanar creatures that comes to threaten our nation.” Aqua said. “As there is a force that is intelligent, I can use my position to bargain a deal. I’m an archmage with the knowledge of the fiendish creatures, so I understand their aims and what they desired goals are. ”

“There is always the negative outcome from such a deal with devils, and other obvious fiends who pose to manipulate us to their own ends Aqua.” Crystalstar countered. “If I was president, I’ll continue the operation and build barriers for our plane of existence to prevent future cases of hostile outsider attacks.”

“Now if I was president.” Hana made a big smile. “I’ll increase our detection with the Mystic Guardians, and forge a deal with a new patron for them to aid us. A wise and powerful celestial dragoness who can help even the common folk like Brasa, and a common servant of Lux can help us.”

“Sure sure… call in some mysterious celestial dragon girl.” Silent Moonstone retorted. “While the Mystic Guardians fight those very bad demons, we must remember that we must build another group to help cooperate them to fight in the homefront. Those creatures may seek tot inferlinate and bring great calamity even in the smallest of places. Hence we need a counter force for that as well.”

DAILY INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING

TOP SECRET//INTBRIEF//FOUO/RESTRICTED/ORCON/NOFORN

[...]

To: The President of the Colonial Republic
From: Kit Pearse, Analyst, Department of State
CC: Secretary of State, Various Directors Within the Intelligence and Law Enforcement Communities
Subject: Dornalian Citizens' Involvement in Silverdalean Elections

Yesterday, I was asked to provide your office with answers regarding Dornalian involvement in foreign elections, particularly the ongoing Silverdalean National Elections. As I understood the situation, your office had heard of reports of Dornalian citizens donating funds to various political parties in the elections, and wished to investigate the extent of the material support provided. In particular, you had emphasized that this information could be a matter of national security, particularly in terms of avoiding the perception of foreign meddling in the elections and also to ensure Dornalian citizens' material support does not result in future blowback.

Analysis of open source intelligence, as well as reports obtained from the Federal Elections Commission, Internal Revenue, and other relevant agencies indicates that several major Dornalian political parties have, on their own initiative, commenced sponsorship of Silverdalean candidates and parties in the election.

As a prelude, I have been advised by auditors and counsel within the above-mentioned agencies, particularly [REDACTED], that the campaign donations appear to be within legal limits for both Dornalian and Silverdalean campaign finance laws and all other relevant ethical and legal bounds, although all donor parties have been advised to consider registering as "foreign agents" under Dornalian law to avoid future complications. Additionally, discussion with [REDACTED] confirms that no funds were allocated from [REDACTED] to make these donations, either directly or through third parties. The relevant citations and legal memoranda regarding each of the donors discussed below are attached to this report as APPENDIX A.

Political Donations

In terms of specific donations, several key examples stood out according to [REDACTED].

To begin, Hammertongs News reports that elements of the Grand National Party, lead by Senator Paul Weishaupt (GNP-Luxembourgia) have donated approximately two million ($2,000,000) Silverdalean Bits to the campaign of President Fluffykins and the Rose Party. The funds appear to have been crowdsourced through internet donations as well as more conventional means, such as fundraising dinners; per the opinion of Special Agent Joseph Wheeler, a forensic accountant with the Internal Revenue Service, all funds could be accounted for and had documentation aplenty. At one such fundraising dinner, Senator Weishaupt was heard to remark, according to [REDACTED], that "Fluffykins hasn't lead us wrong before, so why change horses midstream? No pun intended of course." Weishaupt's donation, according to open inquiries made to relevant SIlverdalean entities by State Department officials, had no conditions attached for the use of the funds. While it is unusual that a high-ranking member of the Dornalian Government would be involved in financing a foreign president's political campaign--Mr. Weishaupt serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee--investigation, including the procurement of documents from the Senate Ethics and Rules Committee, revealed no conflicts of interest or other problematic complications from the Senator or his staff.

Additionally, another donation was made by prominent industrialist J.A.S. Duplessis, CEO of Siristad General Pharmaceuticals, aka "SiriPharm". The donation consists of eight hundred and sixty thousand ($860,000) Silverdalean bits to Miranda Songbird and her Gamers Now party, apparently with no restrictions per Silverdalean election authorities. Dr. Duplessis, when asked about her donation by local newspapers, simply said (in a statement translated from Siristader Afrikaans), “Gamers Now sounds like fun people. They want technology. They want an end to corruption. They want everybody to have plushies! I love plushies! They’re the sort of people I’m fans of. I do vote Silly Party after all.” Analysis of financial records (which were provided by Duplessis’ attorney) by [REDACTED] confirms the money was sourced from Duplessis's own considerable wealth. It should also be noted that the United Alternative Group--the CRE’s premier center-left political faction--reportedly marched Ms. Duplessis’s donation (an unusual move, as Ms. Duplessis has gone on record as saying [REDACTED] about the UAG) bit by bit.

Another donation was made by several members of the Silverdalean-Dornalian Friendship and Commerce Association, a group working for better Silverdalean-Dornalian relations, to to Michal Pebbleton and his Freedom Party. Collectively, the donation was valued at a million ($1,000,000) Silverdalean Bits, and a copy of the records regarding the donation--generously provided by the Association--indicates there is to be no restriction as to the funds’ use. The donors wished to remain anonymous, and requests to obtain their names made by the diverse agencies researching this matter were met with polite refusals and referrals to the Los Angeles office of Lawbold Lawbold for inquiries. Lawbold Lawbold would only say that the individuals were “anonymous members of the Association who used their own personal funds for the effort, and wished to back the campaign of an individual whose faction will further advance Silverdalean-Dornalian relations.” Considering Mr. Pebbleton’s party platform--which explicitly calls for increased relations with the Republic--and how well it synergizes with the Association’s goals, it is little wonder why Mr. Pebbleton’s party received the donation from the Association. It should be noted that the Democratic Alliance’s National Committee donated an additional seven and hundred fifty thousand ($750,000) Silverdalean bits as well to the Freedom Party’s cause, citing their “commitment to economic growth and deregulation, values which have proven successful in the Colonial Republic and which we share with Mr. Pebbleton.”

Isabelle Ashwood and her Forward Party, finally, received a significant three hundred and fifty thousand ($350,000) donation from the Mechanismo Party. Financial disclosures by Mechanismo and their published meeting minutes indicate that Mechanismo made the donation based on a “shared desire to increase the embrace of robotics in society, either in Silverdale or the Republic.” The funds, as with the others, have no limitations on use. Political analysts indicate that this is the first major move Mechanismo has made to reaching out to foreign parties.

Significance of Political Donations Abroad

What are the implications of the above donations?

A common trend emerges amongst all of the ones selected--namely, that they all support the creation of a Silverdalean Space Force of some kind. What form that will take will depend on the victor. Additionally, the above parties are, in some way shape or form, pro-development.

As Secretary of State Simons has noted, our current policy in Mystria is that of an “Open Door Policy”. That is, our nation engages in trade and peaceful diplomatic intercourse with various Mystrian states (e.g. our alliances with the United Kingdom of Malgrave, and Rohane-Alista), with the rationale, as Deputy Ambassador Gerald Kaang (Deputy Ambassador at the CRE Embassy to Crystal Spires) put it, “important consequences (not to mention important trade and cultural opportunities) for the Colonial Republic.” Peaceful and prosperous Mystrians are in our interests, as expressed through acts such as sending an observer to the Mystria Prosperity Convention and through multiple technology transfers conducted to various Mystrian nations.

With all that in mind, it is clear that the rise of the above parties to power--or at least as major players in the SIlverdalean Congress--would signify major opportunities in Silverdale. The rise of a Silverdalean Space Fleet would particularly provide opportunities for joint exercises and an ally in future space conflicts. Trade journals, particularly from the defense industry, and independent analysts also point to significant opportunities for Dornalian technology firms and defense contractors to export their wares to a new customer, even more so than the present. It is unconfirmed if the Silverdaleans are working on AI technology at this point, but KKM’s white paper “Pegasus Rising: The Role of High-Tech in a potential Silverdalean Space Force” seems to indicate that AI may become a thing in Silverdale. This would provide plenty of opportunities for both KKM and its competitors in Silverdale.

That being said, there is always the risk of blowback in the future. Silverdale is stable now, and prosperous, but there are political tensions on the rise in Silverdale. Although not enough now to be a cause for concern--some dissent is welcome in a democracy--Naval War College theorists, gaming out scenarios of what would happen if an ultranationalist movement or another authoritarian regime took over Silverdale, speculated that Silverdale could utilize a potential Space Force against other Mystrians, disrupting the balance of power through orbital insertion and other manuevers which exploit space. Such a regime may even choose to attack Dornalian allies or even make a play for Dornalian territory itself.

Still, either way, the future appears quite filled with benefital opportunity on the whole. Anyway[...]

(Note: Colleb w/Legokiller as well as questions from various posters)

After a bit of a break, there were more questions to be asked, including some from other nations that had sent reporters to this conference in Dyste. One of them was the Rintyari Internet Personality known as ‘Avora of Velitar’, “How will you avoid virtue signaling ‘male rights’ activists’ from attempting to corrupt Rintyari common sense with nonsense attempts to censor and force censorship to fit their politically correct statist worldview? Will you try and push any of these morally repugnant viewpoints onto Rintyar?” This question caused many of the Dystans present to sigh and facepalm, but if anyone wanted to answer this question they were free to...

The stage was set ablaze with disbelief, sighs, silence, and annoyance.

“Excuse me?” Hana raised an eyebrow. “I don’t see how morally repugnant to the common Rintyari worker. Afterall having more of an equal say is always better than an imbalance one.”

“Ahem!” Iron Johson shattered. “Virtue signal? What kind of nonsensical term is that anyway?!”

Fluffykins looked down at her tabloid on the podium and growled. “This isn’t apart the script.” She huffed as her talking points did not have that. Oh her secretary will pay for this nonsense. “Silverdale doesn’t see… whateverer this stupid ‘virtue singal’ thing.. Or..” She sighed. “Something! Ahem, Male rights activists are improving to bring bridges in our community to achieve harmony, and it’s not a morally repugnant viewpoint that corrupts people. Especially when in Rintyar that they have a lower status than women.”

As the mutters and complaints continued, Crystalstar looked at the e-celebrity with patience and serenity. “ I am no servant of such leftism ideology that demands such a thing like censorship upon the worldview my dear. I speak for the traditions and the faith in Silverdale that binds us for a communal ties to spread harmony in the land. Silverdale was built by Silver-Harmonism values with the teachings of the mother, thus what I return is a show of love and kindness to your society. A way to mend both views of the sexes in a meaningful matter than ‘virtue signal.’ As a maiden of the nation, you have my word.”

Needless to say, the other journalists were more than happy to have that nutjob’s question dealt with, and were glad to move to different questions. The next question was from a Dornalian, “Heyo, this is Gracie Liang from NDBC News! So I’ve got a question mainly for President Fluffykins… What exactly are your plans for Space Force--is it mostly an exploration group, or is it going to be able to handle more combat-based operations?”

Fluffykins quickly looked into her tabloid and readjusted herself when the next question came in! “Our nation currently has the Silverdalean Spacey Agency that handles the exploration and civilian side of this matter. The Space Force will be an entity for defensive purpose, as in combat-based operations, and aid in the SSA endeavors as our astronauts adventures into the stars. It is as simple as that.”

The crowd seemed to be satisfied with that answer; simple but effective. The next reporter was Rohanian, “Jack Normeny, Rohane Alista Associated Press. My question’s for Hana Redstar specifically: Silverdale has rather emphatically rejected communism, both in force of arms and through the vote, in the past. What makes your party different than the past incarnations that have been refused?”

“Our communist party, the best party out there, have grown away from the Rubydalean ideology of the past as we aimed to bring change not by violent revolution, but by means of the vote. To build and apply progress by no means of destruction, but by peace and harmony, of course. Such as the model of the Spirean Communist Council as it worked for three decades.” Hana answered.

Seemingly as a direct response to this line of question, the Malgravean journalist spoke up, “Alexandra Sapienti, Royal Malgravean Times. To Ms. Redstar… Malgrave and Silverdale haven’t historically had a close relationship but recent overtures from the Malgravean government have hinted at the possibility of a rapid increase in Malgravean-Silverdalean cooperation if you were to emerge victorious in the election. How do you picture the future of Silverdalean-Malgravean relations if you win the election?”

“If I am elected, the future between our nations will grow tenfold. A possible great friendship that will be established of course.” Hana answered.

Ms. Sapienti nodded, “Follow-up question: Do you see Malgrave taking the role of current Silverdalean allies that have expressed a rather hostile nature to the Communist Party taking power?”

“Um…” Hana paused for a second. “As Malgrave becomes an ally of Silverdale, a simple cooperation between research and develop will be a benefit.”

It appeared that Ms. Redstar was the one being grilled the most here, because this time it was another Rintyari (not Revora, thankfully), “Lorasan Hamara, of the Raptor News Network. You wish to combine the instability of the current republican system in Silverdale with the civil rights and administrative failures of communism. How will you avoid any of these issues without serious concessions to economic freedom, and how will you maintain current relations with other nearby states such as Dyste and Rintyar?”

“Failures of communism? You might more military defeats by external powers? As the Crsytal Spires shows us, communism can bring great civil rights and administration work for decades. If given the chance in the past, Rubydale may have turned out differently. But no matter, I’ll continue to work on the current friendly relationships between Dyste and Rintyar of course.” Hana answered.

“Now, does anyone have any other questions for the elf?” The Dystan donkey reporter, Brenna Claymore, spoke up in jest with a tag amount of annoyance, though she did get a couple of laughs from the crown. “Actually, my question is instead for Ms. Loveheart. You claim to desire the promotion of the rights of monsters and those with monster blood. What sort of beings does this encompass, and what are you planning to do in order to obtain peace with their potential threats?”

“As our nation faces the increase tide from demonic entities to other beings from the beyond, we must not fall short from our friends with such heritage. Silverdale’s history has shown that after an awake of a demonic incident to attacks, people out to punish the children of tieflings into ghettos, and root the possibility of demons that are no threat to the state. Even my time throughout the ages, I face such discrimination to push out of the capital by mobs. So I plan to protect such vulnerable communities from legislation and laws that will inevitably harm them. As for the threats themselves, as president I’ll use all my magical power to go into the core of this threat from hostile demons, and even face the strongest of their kind. It is a risky matter, but I’ll use the resources well and diplomatic means to achieve it.” Aqua answered.

Seeing the hopeful president’s willingness to step on the frontlines herself if necessary impressed some of the onlookers, such as the Dystans, though there was concern about the safety of the nation where that was concerned. Regardless, another Dystan, a catfolk with a druid’s garb, spoke up, “Hey, I’m Toma Sunheart, Druid’s Circle Representative. So, Ironhorn… As a fellow Druid, I am curious about your views on how to conserve the natural world in this growing age of industrialisation. How can we protect our lands without causing a halt to progress?”

“As our nation continues to strive to live up to our traditional tenets, I do wish to continue to find more green alternatives that will not exhaust the beauty of Silverdale’s natural world. There is much work to be done as we must find other ways to give and return to nature beyond the exploitation of resources to appear as we care for the groves, and strengthen looser laws that allowed needless destruction. That is what I plan to do of course.” Ironhorn said.

Toma at least seemed to be satisfied with the answer. It was well-known how influential the druids were in Silverdalean history, but it was good that even now there were ones wishing to do efforts to preserve nature. For the next question, the Malgravean Alexandra Sapenti spoke up again, “Silverdale is currently a Republic with a head of state that has some democratic accountability, but some candidates for the Presidency have expressed interest for a return of the monarchy. As candidates do you think that Silverdalean society is prepared for such a radical transformation to a system that has less accountability compared to the present one, and how much do you think it would cost to restore and maintain the monarchy?”

Potato then spoke up. “Silverdale will not forgo its democracy over the coronation of its rightful heir to the throne. Life as it is within the republic will continue as usual with the position of president has an important role as a leader of the people. Instead of radical transformation, it is a cultural revolution to see a long lost beloved figure to become back into the warmth love of society. Our Princess Snow is one bond by duty who protects our nation from even the harshest of winter which she continues to do so even now, and understands the role she and her processor had maintained. This is no entitled heir who hungers for power, but a humble ruler who will follow a just and balanced hoof for all.”

“That may be so, but to entrust such power of our long forgotten traditions of the crown to a pony who existed her icebox is a poor decision to make.” Kaga spoke up. “She can act as what those who wanted, but how will she understand our current normes, culture, and rules of law if we give her to revoke any of these laws. Surely, if she decides the congress is bothersome, how do we know if Snow has the wisdom to make the right choice than to suspend the legislative power. Another layer without checks or what will it in detail is a dangerous ground for our republic to transform into something that we cannot foresee.”

It appears questions about the monarchy were the subject now, as the Rohanian Journalist spoke up, “Ariel Lindsay, Calihan News Network. The instability and corruption of the republican system has been a growing concern in Silverdale and their allies in recent years, as the “radical experiment” has begun being called a failure on both sides of the aisle. Do you believe your proposition of restoring the monarchy will reinforce those bonds and help to combat growing corruption, and why?”

“It will combat the corruption of our nation.” Potato spoke up. “While Kaga claims we lack the foresee, I ensure you that Princess Snow does have the power of prophecy to see it. Not the phoney kind, but the true power of magic to see the signs of danger. As in the possible shortcomings of a law that ends up benefiting one class of people than others that it supposed to intend, or well-placed loopholes to enrich others than the people. Surely that can be avoided.”

“I see… so my next question is also for Harmony,” Ariel continued. “ If you are elected and succeed in strengthening ties with Silverdale’s allies, will you be seeking their support in increasing the speed at which Silverdale rebuilds its agricultural capability?”

“To increase the trade and programs to develop it, yes we shall.” Potato said. “As our nation is a part of the international community, it will be foolish not to accept such help.”

The Dystans were also concerned about such matters; as Rohane Alista, Dyste and Silverdale were all in the Dragon Sea Alliance, such matters affected them all. It appeared that for now the last question was from another Malgravean, “Yasmin Weld, Royal Malgravean Times. A number of campaigns in this election have alluded to a rose tinted version of the past. Do you think that Silverdale should look more towards the past or forge a future independent of the past?”

“We cannot ignore the past as we move forward. Our cultural heritage and traditions of Silverdale was molded by it, and we follow the footsteps of our ancestors. Of course, I do plan to continue our republic’s legacy in the future.” Crystalstar said.

“Why go back, while we can go forward and level up?” Miranda winked. “There is no reset in real life, so let’s not get lost with nostalgia and move forward.”

“Life is no game, and we can renew our culture we lost. This is no daisy dream, but can be obtainable.” Potato then added. “Malgravean beloves its paragons as its noble queen with virtue and achievements to society. Princess Snow has such qualification as our own nation’s paragon, alongside her mother as they earned such qualities with good works. So it’s not so different.”

Seeing as how many of the questions had been answered (and possibly to prevent Avora from asking anything else), Prime Minister Gnomekicker came on stage, “That will be all for now. I thank you all for coming here today to ask our fine candidates from Silverdale your questions.” He knew that perhaps there was more they wanted to say, but they could answer any further questions personally in interviews or the like.

A Explosive News: Bombing at New Leaf’s Town Hall
Written By: Camellia | Source: Silverline News Network| Snowy Light, Silverdale

Silverdale: The simple and easy going town of New Leaf, known to be a place of new beginnings with one of the highest amount of youth centers, had suffered a terrible tragedy. What was expected to be a peaceful campaign rallies and debates from a selection of presidential candidates of Hana, Potato, Aqua, and Crystalstar alongside Princess Snow as a special guest at the town hall was canceled when a sudden explosion at the town hall happened an hour early before the event. No official sources explain what caused the bombing in the town hall or who was responsible for it.

Silverline’s investigator near ground zero met with a witness and healer by the name Caladhiel, a light elf from the local Amasal temple nearby New Leaf, who tended the wounded. “To see the gathering of promising candidates who wish to improve and help our local community of its high value of life is such a disaster.” Caladhiel said. “There were no demons and magic I sensed nearby. Only the gathering of many and the mayor who stepped in into the Town Hall to welcome the honorable guest in an hour. Now they’re buried alive within the rumble of the once town hall.”

Mayor Icarus is reported to be buried alive and likely wounded from the blast. Other casualties caught within the town hall are unknown as rescues have only begun to search for any survivors, while dozens of people are gravely injured. Silverline News Network will continue the coverage and motivate further development of the loss of life.

The only explanation found from the locals was one mad man’s claim of ‘the end is near!’, while others believed it to be a terrorist attack. A realm for many conspiracy theories to widely predict the score, but as always, a rabbit hole filled with magical thinking.

SILENT MOONSTONE WAS ASSASSINATED!
Written By: Phos | Source: Silverline News Network| Snowy Light, Silverdale

Silverdale: Pandemic erupted in Luna Temple’s Plaza at Gingerbread City as Silent Moonstone was fatally shot dead. This tragic event happened after the arrival of a counterpost of students and fairies came to protest against Silent Moonstone’s alleged racial comments against the treefolk. Reports from the ground said that the shooter was an unidentified Batpony wearing a dark robe who approached Silent Moonstone when she shook hands, and shot her point blank. The shooter was caught in the midst of the panic and was trampled to death, but others claim the shooter simply vanished into thin air with an uncanny body left behind.

“The robed pony came out of the protestors!” A Silent Moonstone supporter reports. “I don’t know if it's one of the works of magic, but it looked so different from the others! Maybe it’s one of those Anti-Fascist folks but… it looks like a zombie than a hooligen.”

A student from the University of Gingerbread City came to our reporters on the ground to say the following in this place. “I don’t know who brought a creep around here! A bunch of people including that one came over to help the protest! After that… a lot of fighting and running happened. It was crazy.”

Investigation of the lone wolf attack is underway, alongside multiple arrests of suspected individuals. Twenty five people were reported wounded from the outbreak, and three others were found dead in the scene of the crime. With this blow to the National Silver Front campaign with its populist figure gone, it seems a bleak end to the campaign is near. However, the running partner Alicia Cortez posted in Social Media that she will take over the role as their presidential candidate, and deliver upon Silent Moonstone’s promises to the Silverdalean people.

(OoC: Written with Legokiller)

The last to arrive sat down in his chair, setting his files on the black marble table in front of him and scooting his chair in. He turned to look at the head of this meeting, a stern woman in a smart pantsuit, herself sitting in a comfortable chair.

She cleared her throat, and after everyone was settled, began to speak. “We’re all here, so we can move on to business. This starts the 32nd meeting of the Small Council of the 403rd Joint Senates. First order of business: the state of His Eminence’s health. Minister Olbern, do you have an update?”

“Yes, Prime Minister,” a short woman in a professional dress replied, the small plaque at her seat reading ‘Minister of Health Elwin Olbern.’ “His Eminence is still in a medical coma, however, the assessment of his carers is that we may soon be able to remove him from it. Before we can take the risk, we must perform one last surgery. It is an invasive procedure- a piece of shrapnel had lodged itself in his abdomen, and while we have long removed it, the sutures aren’t healing in a way we’re satisfied with, so we’ll be going back in. Unfortunately, this has been a… running trend with his care. The damage was significant.”

“Unfortunate,” the Prime Minister replied with a sigh. “Nothing we can do but hope this next procedure goes better, then. We should move to our second order of business: Silverdale. As we’re all aware, they are in the middle of an election. We have also touched on the attempted bombing attempt a few weeks ago previously. Unfortunately the news has gotten more dire, as merely an hour or so ago a report came in that a prominent candidate- Silent Moonstone, of the National Silver Front- has been assassinated. Minister Uniop, I believe you have more information on the situation, before we decide a course of action?”

“Yes, Prime Minister, I do,” a fiery redheaded woman whose plaque read ‘Minister of State Severa Uniop’ replied. “As Prime Minister Motley mentioned, a leading candidate in the election has been assassinated. It’s unclear if the assassin escaped or was trampled in the ensuing riot, or if they were working alone, though preliminary information seems to indicate no… However, the most concerning thing is that the Moonstone was not present at the bombing site, nor slated to be there, meaning there may be more than one person or group out there attempting to assassinate candidates.”

“That’s a serious concern,” Minister of Defense Corbin Chance replied. “It would be easy enough to divert a squad or two of our Anti-Magic Task Force to Silverdale. I think we should propose it, too. Even the illusion of heightened security can be useful.”

“Agreed,” Minister Uniop replied with a nod. “But I think we can go further. We should send some of the Federal Police Investigation squads. I have no doubt Silverdale has competent investigators, but ours are among the best in the region for scientific analysis, and it means more manpower for actually protecting the candidates.”

“I see,” the Prime Minister answered. “A show of hands, who approves these measures?”
There was noise around the table as Ministers spoke to each other, before one by one raising their hands. “Approved, then. I will contact appropriate authorities in Silverdale.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sometime later, as the sun began to set and the late evening began to give way to nighttime, Prime Minister Hannah Motley sat behind the desk in her personal office with a small drink. She signed one last piece of paperwork for the night, then drained her drink and began a holocall to Silverdale, specifically the offices of Secretary Snowy Dawn. With any luck, the official was still available.

The holocall opened up to reveal the blue haired woman behind her well-crafted pine desk in the capital. She looked well keen and had a cup of coffee ready. “This is Secretary Snowy Dawn of the United States of Silverdale. How may I help you?” Snowy Dawn attempted not to crack up. It did sound like her own fast food days as a teen.

“Hello, Secretary Dawn. This is Prime Minister Hannah Motley, of Rohane Alista. I’m calling you because a decision has been made today to offer our resources and manpower in assistance to your nation during this election, due to the unfortunate actions of some. To this regard, I’m pleased to offer you two squads from our Anti-Magic Task Force as bodyguards, as well as members and the resources of our Federal Police to aid investigations.”

“Protection service?” Snowy Dawn straightened her back as she looked into the hologram. “It is rather unfortunate that our local police and the security hired by Silent Moonstone’s team have failed in her protection. While it is the responsibility for each candidate to utilize their own form of security, I know that at this time the Secret Service are not legally abidded to protect them. It sounds foolish yes, but this rarely if ever an assasination attempt happens before. Now… I must ask Prime Minister Motley, how capable are your Anti-Magic Task Force able to handle the varieties of magical threats in our nation?”

“You should well know of their reputation,” Motley replied bitingly. “They’re not the Anti-Magic Task Force for nothing. They’ll stand well against both magical and physical threats, short of weapons of mass destruction and similar. Rohane Alista would like to make the recommendation that they guard two of the potential bombing targets, the two our analysts claim are most at risk. Hana Redstar and Harmony Potato.”

“I am aware that your people are resilient against magical spells Prime Minister. Only concern is how they’ll deal with this phatmon being who appeared amongst the crowd and disappeared. A being that might be similar in other cases unrelated. Regardless, I can see the need for protection for Hana Redstar and Harmony Potato. Handa is the least protected as she trusts her people alongside the use of a dragonstone, while Harmony may attract beings from another world.” Snowy Dawn then looked into her computer and then pondered for a second.

“I believe they will appreciate another layer of protection against this threat Prime Minister. Even in this uncertain time as of late.” Snowy Dawn answered.

“Especially in these uncertain times, I’d think,” the Prime Minister of Rohane Alista replied. “Regardless, we’ll send the squads and the detachment from the Federal Police. Please inform the relevant campaigns of our offer, and should either refuse, let us know. Good night, Secretary Dawn.”

“I’ll inform the rest of the campaigns of this offer Prime Minister. I believe there will be others who will accept it as well.” Snowy Dawn then bowed. “Now thank you my friend.”

Malgrave calls for calm in Silverdalean Election

Image
Nadzieja Brzezicki speaking to the press

Prime Minister Nadzieka Brzezicki released a statement on behalf of the Government of Malgrave officially condemning the recent outbreak of violence that has broken out during the ongoing Silverdalean Presidential Election, with the statement calling for Silverdaleans across the political, religious and socioeconomic spectrum to remain calm and work together in a spirit of harmony and togetherness to reject the rise of hatred and misinformation.

Of course, Malgrave itself is no stranger to violent methods being used by those that wish to stifle democracy as remnants of the Socialist Republic and the National Workers' Republic both engaged in acts of terrorism over several decades against political candidates and the democratic infrastructure of the Malgravean state to try and negatively influence the democratic process, with the 1994 Karlino Central bombing being responsible for the killing of the Conservative Action Prime Minister, however, the actions of the SIS and the declining popularity of both institutions following the successful integration and re-education period led to elections in Malgrave become safer and now the process is one of the safest in the regions.

It is this historic experience and success against political violence that has led the Prime Minister into calling for the Silverdalean populace to engage with each other in a spirit of brotherhood and unity that has come to typify social relations in Malgrave. In addition to the call for calm and unity amongst the Silverdalean population, the Prime Minister also offered to increase cooperation between the relevant Silverdalean security services and Malgrave's own SIS, with an anonymous official stating that specific focus will be on providing increased protection to candidates, although more intensive methods could be used provided the consent of the Silverdalean authorities.

Prime Minister Nadzieka Brzezicki's statement also brings such much-needed attention to recent misinformation campaigns that have threatened to further weaken the ongoing election campaign, with some importance in the PM's statement being put behind recent aggressive campaigns that have targetted the Ancestral Study Group, with certain groups claiming that the ASG was a religious movement, that it was under the control of the Malgravean government or even some strange cult.

As the ASG is quite clearly opinion to people regardless of their religious beliefs or lack of them and is an independent organisation separate from the Malgravean government these misinformed allegations are seen as part of a disturbing trend of increasing anti-Malgravean opinions in the region that could bring possible harm to Malgravean citizens travelling abroad and members of the ASG who are currently engaged in numerous charitable endeavours across the world.

Malgrave has officially classified the purposeful spreading of misinformation as harmful to the democratic process and the continued stability of a nation, and in recent weeks several individuals have been arrested for purposefully spreading misinformation in regards to a variety of subjects relating to the political stances of electoral candidates to lies about medical treatments surrounding MIDD, with two individuals behind the latter claims being successfully tried for treason and executed by a TDF execution unit.

It is hoped that the Prime Minister's message and the offer of assistance will work to alleviate some of the concerns forming over the integrity of the Silverdalean election process and work to dampen recent violence that has rocked the nation.

Riley’s Campaign RV

A middle aged earth pony walked into the makeshift office inside of the sweet RV. The round glassed stallion gulped as he passed a copy of the RMT to Riley. “Mis Dragonlover, whatcha think of the recent news article from Malgrave.”

“Hmmm?” Riley smirked as she gladly took the article and briefly read it. She giggled as she turned back to her campaign worker, alongside her dwarven pal Darwin who walked over.

“A cute platitude.” Riley leaned up and raised a finger. “I mean, all they admitted is the fact that their state’s Freedom of Press is abysmal! Those snakes are simply fed with such info to strike Malgrave back in the rear and damage poor little Hana’s feet. Don’t they understand the game here?”

“Gwa hahaha.” The muscular dwarf laughed. “Heavens no!”

“Eyup!” Riley noted as she sat down on her desk and took out her magic pen and paper. “Clearly we can’t trust the SIS without our foe laying down an obvious mouse trap. They can manipulate the people in their home turf, but not on foreign land with embedded wealthy and powerful individuals in Southern Mystria. Of course, I do believe one adventurer king and his pals might have a better approach.”

Sure, it was complete bias from Riley’s part, but she wasn’t sure about some fancy Malgreavens who will only cause trouble. There was the Rohanians, but Riley didn’t want another band of lemmings going off a cliff in this investigation. She needed a group who didn’t adopt the dark, but was born in it. That was exactly her family back in Dyste.

Your Majesty,

While I have taken a path for my own ambition, I am a ninja who watches for any potential threats to Dyste and its allies as well. I must inform you about the assination of Silent Moonstone is no lonewolf, but orchalethisd by the most likely of conspiracy groups: ‘Those who Slithers in the Dark.’ It is difficult to reveal anything further as it will endanger my life, but from my participation from all the Silverdalean political parties, it is evident that both Silverdale and the Fairy Alliance are influenced by them. It is… subtle to hide with its members from different backgrounds from the low to the elite class, but I cannot confirm anything is true without any clear clues about them.

Hence I request a team to privately investigate the matters. The group needs to be something that can be easily slipped by their oversight, and get into the truth. We must do this soon before they commit another calamity. What I recommend for candidates for this team? Well no one expects a cutie ice dwarf for one!

When Riley was finished with her letter and the envelope was sealed, instead of being sent in the mail, it stood on her desk. They next day, the letter was gone, but replaced with a different note, this one written with the use of magic as well. It arrived in the exact same envelope as before, as if it had never been moved from the desk...

To Riley,

This is most troublesome news indeed; when Silent Moonstone took the stage in Dyste, there were those did not agree with her views, but resorting to such means to dispose of her is deplorable. I had an inkling that this was no mere individual acting on their own, a feeling you seem to share. Dyste formally cannot get too heavily involved with the investigation, lest we look like we are interfering with your democratic process.

That said, there are of course individuals I have influence over that can help you out, from your hometown. I shall only send a small group, no more than five, but rest assured that the ones chosen are among our best. They have all requested to aid in this, and I trust their loyalty implicitly. I request that you meet with them in the place where the creator of the item you are holding in your other hand resided before moving to Dyste, two days from now. Ask the dwarf for Javia's favourite beverage to prove that it is you. I wish you well in this, Riley. May your life be blessed with longevity and good fortune.

Graciously yours,

The strife in Silverdale did not go unnoticed by the Dornalian people. The sudden spate of political violence which had resulted in the death of a rightist candidate and the bombing of a city hall stirred outrage in the usual circles. News media, politicians, et cetera--there was an outpouring of condemnation of the violence, and support for the Silverdalean electoral process.

One such piece of support would come from President Haggar himself. However, it would also be accompanied by a lot more. Just as the Rohanians and Clan Dragonlover were doing, the Dornalian Intelligence Community decided to throw its hat into the ring to find the culprit behind the attacks. The motivation was simple really. Anarchy in Silverdale would interfere with the Dornalian policy of continuing to maintain a prosperous, stable Mystria for all--worse yet, as Kit Pearse from the Mystria desk wrote to President Haggar, the violence might bring forth a result which had consequences for the Dornalian state and its interests abroad. No one wanted to see radicals of any political stripe take over Silverdale. The thought of malevolent penguins paradropping into Los Angeles was not something anyone wanted to think about.

So, Haggar sent the following message to President Fluffykins...well, the following pair of messages actually:

Madam President:

I wish I could be writing to you in happier circumstances.

I have heard of the violence gripping your nation.  Such acts of terror have no place in a democracy, especially not in a democracy which can be counted among the friends of the Colonial Republic.  My condolences go out to those Silverdaleans who have died, especially Silent Moonstone.  Whatever one thinks of the tenor of Silver Moonstone's platform, their presence signaled the healthy functioning of a democracy in Silverdale.  Whatever one thinks of Hana, Potato, Aqua, and Crystalstar and Princess Snow, their presence signaled the healthy functioning of a democracy in Silverdale.

To see Moonstone's voice silenced and to see the New Leaf Bombing take place is simply unacceptable, and signifies the work of those who would destroy democracy, perhaps to replace it with something worse for both Silverdale and Mystria.  This is quite frankly something which we cannot abide--in Silverdale, Dornalia, or anywhere.

Do know the Dornalian people stand with you in this troubling time, and are ready to offer assistance as needed.  Thank you."

As for that second message?

Madam President:

When I indicate the Dornalian people are ready to stand with you, I mean it.  I have spoken to my cabinet, and we feel that the Dornalians must do their part to help bring those responsible to justice.

Therefore, I would like to offer you the assistance of the Dornalian Intelligence Community and the Dornalian Law Enforcement Community in solving this issue.  In particular, should you desire it, operational assets will be provided so as to ensure support to the Silverdalean authorities in identifying and pursuing those responsible for these heinous acts.  Just say the word, and we can have our people show up wherever and however you need them.  We have SIGINT people from the Postal Inspectors and their Joint Communications Assessment Tactical Teams, investigators from the Republican Marshals--just let us know what you need, and we can provide it.

Thank you for your time.

Silver City
Beach Side Arcade

Outside of the grand silver towering skyscrapers, and ‘old Silver City’, lies outside in the suburban area at the beach side of west Silver City where a grand retro arcade called Outer Heaven. Built in the heyday in the 80s, the brickish building was one of the largest arcades with rows of entire pay by quarter for the old hit arcade games, to the grand chillax lobby and restaurant for its pardons. Neon Lighted signs and ceiling lightning , posters of old video games, to the even corny iconology of the stars and galaxies on its carpet decorated the establishment. What made it truly special was the unique ‘magic’ arcade that is said to truly throw a user to another world of an 8-bit adventure! Customers from across the city who wanted the time where gaming was best came to this place.

In the grand retro lobby it was crowded by supporters and campaign workers to play a special ‘gaming with Miranda!’ hour. It was the last rank in the epic showdown for the candidate and a very chonky pony in the finale battle on Marevel vs Capcolt! Whomever wins, it will open up the door for Miranda’s expected visitors, or well new bodyguards!

The door to the arcade did, in fact, open moments later, as 10 humans in urban camouflage entered the building. They were each surprisingly tall, but what really caught the eye was that they were, each and every one, heavily armed. All of them had name tags sewn into their outfits, the man at the head’s reading “Cmdr. Nielsen”, while their shoulders bore patches reading AMTF, and an ensign of what appeared to be a shield stopping a fireball. They moved in single file, following their commanding officer, alert and surveying the location as the commander stepped up to an employee behind a desk and spoke.

“Hello. We are here for Miss Songbird, as her new protection. Can you please point us in the correct direction?” the commander asked.

Behind the desk was a skinny Feywild Guardian with a greenish red mullet for a hairstyle, and star shape sunglasses. Of course, behind the shades, the man was a little nervous. Nervous with a small mutter of ‘oh crap the terminator is here’ business. “Of course dude!” He then pointed out to the arcade machine where Miranda jumped in victory as the crowd cheered! “Over there man.”

“Thank you. Please see to clearing the crowds in an orderly fashion,” the commander replied, turning and leading his squad to the area Miranda had just begun celebrating in, waiting with them on the outer edge of the crowd as the excitement died down.

“Uh, sure?”

The employee went up to his pony manager in confusion, and after a small talk the two moved out to get a human boy band looking dude to help clear up the crowd.

“Thank you everyone!” Miranda waved before she skipped forward towards the commander. “Hello! By any chance, are you part of the AMTF or a plucky band of adventurers?” Miranda asked. Of course, she knew it was the former, and wanted to be a little playful.

“Commander Jorge Nielsen, Anti-Magic Task Force Squad 3, at your service,” the man replied, extending a hand. “Since you accepted the offer of Rohanian protection, we’ve been dispatched. We will begin duty ASAP. One of our agents will need to be with you at most every time. I know it’s an invasion of your privacy, but I think we can both agree that your health and safety are too important to take chances.”

“It is such a delight to meet you Commander Nielsen.” Miranda shook his hand. “You’re aware that I’m quite the star across Silverdale, especially my home city. So I won’t mind as the cameras and very die hard fans may go after me.” Miranda gives a ‘sorry but I love you gesture to the crowd. “On the other hand, I am concerned that there are wolves out there who may be interested in my life as well. Some are closer to home than others.”

“Our job is to protect you from these so-called wolves, Miss Songbird. Don’t worry about non-magical threats, we can handle those too. If you don’t mind, however, it would be a good idea for us to visit your home sooner than later so we can examine the security situation, and perhaps prepare to improve it.”

“Hm? Sure I guess...” Miranda then turned to her companion. “Alex, could you alert everyone back home? I’ll bring our new guest to explore around, so make sure to tell the team to clean up.”

“What?” Alex, a rather handsome and strong for a slim frame, looked Miranda with confusion. “Miranda, I don’t think the folks back home are ready for something like… this. I mean we played Spacecrafts, but to invite actual…”

“I know it’s scary, but please trust me. They won’t accidentally discover some dark secret or some other junk back home.” Miranda said. “Besides, you know that it’s hard for us to live in the old home without some thug trying to break in. In this new level we’re at, there is more peril up ahead.”

“True…” Alex sighed. “Fine I’ll call the team and Couch.”

Miranda turned around to look at the commander. “I live with my team back home.”

“Makes no difference to us,” he replied. “We aren’t here to judge you, just to keep you safe so that a fair and open election can be held, and you can be there to see it.” Nielsen turned, waving to his squad and gathering them together, then having them spread around Miranda. “If you don’t mind, we’re already on duty. We’ll take you to your residence via our transports, please.”

“Got it!” Miranda nodded. She waved goodbye to the crowd, which included that adoring fan, and followed the squad outside of the arcade. Miranda did wonder how high-tech the Rohanian Alistians were actually. Did they have android soldiers like PEGASUS?

Though the question of android or cyborg soldiers wouldn’t be answered, she would be able to glean some sort of insight on Rohanian technology. Outside the arcade were two large vehicles, painted black, resting on the road, no wheels in sight. They were surprisingly sleek, no obvious weaponry or bulk to indicate armor, yet the doors were heavy enough to indicate they must be. As Miranda was ushered into the fore car, half the squad joined her, while the other half of the squad entered the rear car. An agent got behind the wheel, turning on the vehicle, which in short order began hovering off the road, lifting up gently, before heading down the street as rapidly as possible.

Miranda was burning with both a bright smile as she rode the vehicle, and a slight relief. “What a hard event.” She mused. Miranda then took out her make up kit from her purse to check and fix any imperfection on her face. “So what kind of hover car model is this? I haven’t seen anything like this before.”

“It’s not. It’s a military vehicle,” was the reply, clearly indicating that she would be getting no further information about how it worked, where it was made, or anything else of probable importance. “We should be arriving soon. Please prepare yourself.”

As the hovercraft pulled up to a rather colorful neighborhood of redbricks with white to green and blue pointed tiled rooftops luxury apartment complexes, they were pulled into the official ‘Team ITana’ house. Outside of the spoony paparazzi seagull beastling who flew away, it was well clean and tim with the seasonal flower beds, the outside was a three story high unit with the netted balconies.. It was completed with one garage on the left side where a grey wheeled minivan was parked.

Miranda creeped up in horror as she recognized the car to be her mother. “Okay… It seems the game just got… interesting.” She then decided to roll with it and hoped that the AMTF didn’t mind at all. “Yeah! Now let me show you around the first floor real.”

Miranda led the way to open up the front door to show the main gathering hall. “So here’s where all the fun and hard work begins!” She waved for the group to see a combined kitchen to both the gathering table, small couch, and most importantly two desks rows of computers! The brownish stone paved kitchen was at the left side of the entrance with an island of table. Completed with the best smart kitchen ware of a fridge, to eco-friendly goods. The table at the right side of the kitchen was made of fine pine, stained with a matching color of the kitchen. Beyond was the most and latest computer gaming wear that glowed in bright colors, and black and simple color gaming chairs. The Tv itself with the red sofa had a library of games for both professional practice and relaxation! All completed with an array of gaming posters from the famous ‘Legend Penguin’ to MOBA games, and mini-figures of Silverdalean gaming icons. There was a hallway at the right as well which led to different bedrooms, a laundry room, bathrooms, and a few closets. The door to the right of the entrance was a simple office room, which was closed.

The soldiers remained largely quiet, surveying the room they entered, making note of the locations of entrances and exits, then began to spread out into the hallway. A few headed for the closests, examining the insides of them before closing them again, while most of the rest headed into the various bedrooms that were open. Here they checked windows, mostly, before leaving the rooms and rendezvousing with their commander. One by one they made reports, mostly neutral, though they noted the windows seemed possible to force, prompting Nielsen to turn to Miranda.

“Miss Songbird,” he spoke. “We’re likely going to install security measures on the windows. Nothing that will make them impossible to open, but something to make it more difficult to force them from the outside. May we see the rest of the building?”

“For the rest of the unit, sure! I expect there will be a few folks up in the next floor.” Miranda said.

The second floor was a continuation of the esport work environment and meditation. The most obvious when they came up the hard wooden staircase was the common room that was filled with religious iconology from the strange console worship of a mystic and white magical angelic woman called Silver Heart next to a positive luck and gold of success of a wink Dragon wing girl called Gold Heart in the top corner. The east was even more beautiful with grand artwork to statues of such lively depictions of Enwe and her handmaiden. It included a simple sacred harp on the modern stack shelf as well!

“Uh-.” Miranda cursed silently as she knew that Enwe herself was the dastard who cursed RA into a magicless zone. “This here is the shrine for us to pray for blessing for success, and honor my family’s tradition for the arts. Us Songbirds are quite devoted to her. Now moving on!”

In the second few rooms was a stage with the team logo of a faceless pegasus knight and logo across the wall with a few computers station. It was the team’s record and livestream room for games across Silverdale. The next three were smaller livestream stages for each teammate to work on LiveGame site to make some extra cash. Which third one had a muscular human with sleek spiky black hair at hard work in some Rohanian Game?! “That’s ‘Zephian’ smart with a brass teammate of Itana! He can look imitanding, but he’s pretty nice.”

The third floor had a family room with a tv connected by a Misty Joy Console. It was more relaxed and more friendly, alongside a minibar at the left side, and a pool table at the right top side. Top middle was the door to the balcony where a bird cage lied with a pair of white doves inside. In the hallway, there were three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a closet. The third room was Miranda’s room, where the door was slightly open for a pink eyed woman to watch the group before timidly closing the door.

“Uh, don’t mind my mother! She’s a little timid to newcomers, but is a fantastic bard to be around.” Miranda coughed. “Now this floor is basically what we call ‘parents and family come to stay’ room! We have a few folks from home now and then come to stay for sometime before a new session begins.”

As they took the tour, various agents would split off to investigate then rejoin, though the commander made sure to stay with Miranda at all times. When she was finished, he nodded to his squad, and all but three set off for the lower floors.

“Alright, Miss Songbird. I feel we have a good handle of what the building is like, but I’ve sent a team to examine the exterior as well. We’re going to want to set up security measures in the area, as well as an emergency escape. I’ve got another team doing interviews,” he continued in a steady tone. “I expect your people will be cleared, especially since we’ve checked their dossiers already, but we must be sure. I’m going to be assigning a team to each floor permanently as well as one to you at all times. The teams will, of course, rotate depending on the time, and may be changed for others reason. I myself will be in your main protection team, so rest assured.”

“Got it!” Hana gave a firm nod. “I know we’ll be busy later on with the meet up with Cherry Pop at Belfast Theater in two hours tops. But I am glad the folks here will be protected from those shadow folks!” She turned around to the hallway. “You got that mother!”

“Please don’t shout like that!” The woman sighed as she opened up the door. The commander would recognize the mother as Ovelia Songbird, the well-maintained dancer and artist with a well made career as a bard across Mysteria. Perhaps a little TOO maintained as the human looked young just like Miranda and had not aged a day. The hot pink ponytailed hair woman who was draped in a black cherry sapling dress that rounds her ample breasts and curves, and dazzles with the sun strolled out to meet her daughter. She strolled out of the room and gave an open palm gesture to the commander.

“Hello there sir.” Ovelia coughed. “My apologies for being rather loud. I am surprised that the new level of security in this home is rather unusual to say the least.”

“Frankly speaking, miss,” the Rohanian man replied, raising his own palm, open as well, before lowering his arm again in the traditional Rohanian greeting gesture, “your daughter is quite likely under threat, and though we have no current reason to suspect any attacks will be made against your home, part of security is to be ahead of the curve. If you’ll forgive us, I must speak with Miss Songbird more about her future schedule. Changes may need to be made. Worry not, you’ll remain safe, Miss.”

“Why thank you kind sir.” Ovelia then rose up to Hana, and then back at the commander. “Your abilities will be helpful. I have one advice: do not trust the woman in white. Pure in beauty and innocence, frozen in heart and malicious. Now excuse me.” Ovelia bowed as she went back to her room to finish up her final touches.

“Mother loves to give out puzzles and advice that are cryptic.” Hana crossed her arms.

“That’s… not really helpful, honestly, but fine,” Commander Nielsen had a confused look on his face as he replied. “Anyways. We have much work to do, Miss Songbird, but I will be personally guarding you for now.”

OoC: Written with Silverdale. Part 2.

Two black hovering sedans roared down the Silverdalean roads, soon pulling off the main roads for quieter travel. The front vehicle set the pace, going as fast as possible without violating the local speed laws, despite their special diplomatic plates technically allowing them to do so, but the vehicle in back held the “precious cargo.” Indeed, inside was AMTF Captain Jorge Nielsen, four other members of his squad, and the VIP, Miranda Songbird.

At the moment, the captain was in the passenger compartment with the VIP, a position he would likely take each and every time she took a trip from now until the election at least. Captain Nielsen was in the middle of a rather important introduction for the VIP, now that things had finally settled down somewhat.

“This, Miss Miranda, is Lieutenant Sara Hadad,” Jorge informed their charge, while the olive skinned Alistinian woman gave a small greeting. “The Lieutenant is our lead medical officer. Should you need emergency care, or even just feel sick or need an excuse to leave an event where you feel unsafe without causing a scene, please speak to the Lieutenant.”

Miranda checked her facial appearance and plosh up one last mark on her cheeks to look presentable. She nodded as she looked at Hadad, and gave a small welcoming gesture. “Why thank you Jorge. Ahem, Miss Sara.” Miranda paused and coughed. “Lt. Hadad, it’s a pleasure to be working with you. I know our event is both exciting and… highly stressful! All the stars are coming with Cherry Pop, Arthur Emiya, Lorernz Melonheart, and a shipgirl from the Silver Aegis with them.”

“My concern is with your personal health, Miss Songbird,” the lieutenant replied with a small smile and a dip of the head. “Please, just tell me if you should begin to feel poorly for any reason. Otherwise, I will do my duty in seeing you protected the same as everyone else,” she finished, falling silent.

“Oh right.” Miranda sighed. “I’ll inform you if any harm was inflicted on me. This is a high profile event, so there might be a little danger that lures around.”

“That’s what we’re here for,” Nielsen replied, fixing his tie and straightening the jacket of his tuxedo. Every member but three of the squad were dressed in fine evening wear, fitted tuxedos or dresses, but these had small secrets in them. Each was layered with kevlar, along with other materials, making them as strong as a bulletproof vest against firearms, as well as an integrated, experimental, “magic shield” as the engineers in Rohane Alista called it. The shield wasn’t actually magic, but helped to amplify the powers of a null when in the vicinity of magic, increasing both how much magic they could dampen, and how far they could reach.

Three members, however, were fully outfitted in the AMTF’s specialized combat armor, which included all the protections of the evening wear, but cranked up to eleven, plus some extra, secretive protective measures, such as ceramic plating and an electronic isolation system. These members, and the ones heading inside, all wore silver watches that looked nearly identical, and though one wouldn’t be able to tell without the proper knowledge, this was because other than size, they were identical. Each told time, yes, but more importantly, they could sound a silent alarm to the other members of the squad at a button push, or when a heartbeat was no longer detected, as well as serving as radios in a pinch.

The members in evening wear would be heading inside the venue with Miranda this night, and thus were equipped only with small arms, hidden inside suit jackets or small clutches, but the ones in full armor would remain outside to keep the entrance clear. Those three would remain with the vehicles, which contained each squad member's rifle, as well as shotguns, fresh ammunition, medical supplies, and a few heavy explosives and rockets. The AMTF had come prepared for even a small scale battle, should it be needed.

It was these three members that left the black almost-sedans first as they arrived at the rear entrance of the Belfast Theater, checking the entrance. Finding it satisfactory, they escorted Miranada and the other seven AMTF agents inside, before returning to their positions with the vehicles, where, if all went well, they would remain the rest of the night.

The crowd of paparazzi and many news reporters awaited them through the classical steps of the Theater. Miranda naturally smiled and posed as the photos flashed! At least short lived before going into the main room itself. There was a bale of formal elites from across Silverdale who were gathered in glamorous and flamboyant clothing inside. The sponsorships and businessmen in suits were clear, to the strange zebra like ‘Saber Face’ Arthur Emiya, to the decadent but humble sign of a skimpy pink haired girl from the White Aegis. Miranda was in her best suit for this, but she looked over at one of the unicorns who whispered to their companions.

“Oh what had this nation come too?” The classy unicorn stallion spoke up.

“First some foreign support to some inane communismt, to an assasination of a mad pony, and… now armed guards?” The Earth Pony richmare shook her head. “Is this candidate serious?”

Miranda bited her lips and froze when the last, and her hostess approached! “Miranda! You're here ♪ !” The youngest songstress offered a hand to Miranda. She was clearly human, with short pink pigtail hair, with an equally pinkish skirt that was tied by a sash with a black ribbon. It was a hanbok style dress, with a white robe to add to Cherry Pop’s purity. Although Miranda knew that she was a party girl and somewhat entering a phase of more destructive habits.

“Why thanks, Cherry Pop. I’m glad one of my biggest fans is here to aid with my campaign!” Miranda shook her hands. “Don’t mind the security, they’re here to make sure no bad guy causes any trouble.”

“As long as my music uplifts their spirits, that’s fine by me!” She giggled. “Although… I do wonder actually! I am a bardess and my performance evokes magic around it. Would by any little chance would the famous ‘null’ powers disrupt that?”

“Potentially,” Captain Nielsen replied. “Depending on the nature, strength, and reach of the magical effects. We are trained to have some ability to pull in our powers, of course, but we can’t turn them off entirely. It would be against our mission to do so, anyways.”

“Ah, I see!” Cherry Pop gave a playful wink. “Well, the nature of reach will be important if a fellow magic bubble comes and pops! But I have a creative solution to work just perfectly with my performance!”

“Why thanks Cherry Pop.” Miranda said. “I’ll keep my little speech short for the show to go on!”

“Regardless,” the Rohanian gently interrupted. “We will have some agents by your side, Miss Songbird. Feel free to begin whenever you’re ready.”

As the Anti-Magic captain spoke, he gave a small indication, and the rest of the squad began to spread out into the theater. Each would take up a different position overlooking both each other and sections of the crowd, while Nielsen and Lieutenant Hadad remained with Miranda herself as her personal bodyguards.

As Miranda began to mingle around with the rest of the upper class and members of her PAC, Cherry Pop headed towards the Theater, or Opera House, style room. A grand floor of velvet seat rows, with five tier boxes, and a VIP/Royal box for the highest of honorary guests. It was regal and elegant, with a grand changing sky ceiling of the fittest Silverdalean magic art that shows the radiant heaven. In this environment, they can see the early arrivals of people, including a few ladies dressed in white alongside different forms of entourage of fine class to robed magi.

Back in the main hall, Miranda began to discuss with one of her favorite naval girls from the Silver Aegis, Bremerdale. “Bremerdale, care to join us at our box on the second floor? It’s close to the stage.”

“Well…” Bremerdale looked at her…. Rather odd and temper fanboy helper man who glared at them, and the naval admiral who shrugged ‘why not’. “Sure! I’ll be glad to come with you Miranda.”

The Rohanians said nothing, following Miranda, though they did give a brief salute to the Silverdalean admiral. When they entered the box, each took a seat, Nielsen directly next to Miranda in case she would need immediate shielding, and Hadad near the door, which she swiftly shut, in order to intercept any attempts to break into the box.

Miranda's eyes shifted around and then sighed. “Golly, sometimes my fans give me that look. I love them, but I don’t wanna be a jerk.” She knew it’d be image breaking if she called that dude an incel.

“Oh Harold? He is one of our supervisors with the admiral, but gets quite jealous of him. Don’t be too hard on him, Harold means well.” Bremerdale said.

“True… but…” Miranda looked at the box at the third vox where the admiral is at, but didn't notice that human. Let alone what he looked like well outside of some green hair and green eyes!

“Don’t worry about him,” Nielsen replied in a whisper, keeping his eyes forward. “There’s an agent keeping an eye on him. I will accompany you on stage, Miss Songbird, just in case. There could be other threats, anyways. I hope the dress is fitted to your liking?”

Miranda eyed on the new dress: a heel length black skirt dress with a grand white diamond pattern snowflakes at the covered chest. It also had puffed thicc sleeves as well! “Oh wow! It looks great.” Miranda took the dress. “Now… Before we get our game face on, I need a quick visit to the dressing room. After all, the first song has to play first.”

As Miranda stood up the hostess Cherry Pop went to the stage.

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen of all creatures! In honor for our wonderful star who aims to be the brightest of all, I’ll give my endorsement and tribute to my friend Miranda Songheart’s name.” She winked as she waved for her! The crowd clapped as Miranda waved. When it was time for her to exist, the first phase began!

The crowd began to grow bigger with the lower folks, including some new… street ratmen, to take their seat for Cherry Pop to sway and dance. The musicians played the echoes of opera, to the bright and cherry melody from the songstress. The ceiling turned to the stars as the song as Cheery Pop danced and conjured images of bubbles and a glazing mirages of shooting stars of magic arose above the audience, enchanting further the mix of classic to chip music! A surreal yet pleasant as the girl sang.

The song of friendship and care to reach to the audience, donators, to the masses across the nation. Yet, even now, the one in green and shadow scoffed from his box below the admiral and turned to… a pale cold woman, dressed in a elegante snow white coated dress with fine furs for its collar and sleeves. He whispers not only his envy and hate… but all those who hate Miranda’s love but dance between the positions of a hypocrite.

“To love the masses, yet fear them… To hate the rich and cry against corruption.. But to seek their aid… How despicable.” the woman in white spoke to the man.

“Yes…” Harold's eyes looked at her. “You understand what I feel...Just to watch this? It will only get worse…”

“Indeed… Only a matter of time.” The white woman said.

In another box across the hall, a man in a fine tuxedo was surreptitiously watching the two. He seemed to be focusing on the performance, but in actuality he was keeping a tight grip on the gun under his coat. He was, of course, a member of the Anti-Magic Task Force, Squad 3. Commander Theodrin Miana managed to retain a relaxed look, sitting far enough back to blend into the darkness of the box, but not far enough back to obstruct his view. All the time that the show continued, he sat there watching, ready to sound the alarm just in case.

As the show continues, Harold was given one last ‘advice’ from the woman in white. A suggestion that… switched him for a strange enchantment. That was for him to stand up and exit the box to enact his rage. The same time when Cherry Pop reached her finale with the song, and spoke up.

“Thank you thank you!” Cherry Pop then made a small twirl to cue for the backstage to bring out Miranda upon the stage.

Commander Theodrin pressed a button on his watch, alerting the rest of the AMTF to go on alert, and kept his eyes on the woman. Luckily, they had put two agents near the stage as was, and two near the entrances into the main auditorium, but now one of the three outside would head inside, more heavily armed and with gear for restricting prisoners, and slowly head towards the box containing the woman in white.

The woman in white eyes gazed at the crowd roaring as the presidential candidate Miranda Songbird walked upon the stage. In mere… anticipation. Cherry pop moved back as Miranda took the mic and looked at the audience.

“Thank you Cherry Pop! As a star, helping my fans is my biggest joy!” Miranda said. “I do welcome everyone here today in support of my candidacy. In both gaming, the arts, technology, and all, we’re all big fans of it and wish to improve it! Even when we make mistakes, it is important to look upon and improve what’ll make all happy, and find new riches.”

As Miranda continued onto her speech, the two AMTF at the door to the auditorium heard a pony shriek in horror as the man named Harold approached the entryway. There was something… twisted about the formal suited man as his eyes were darken with violent red eyes, and a cold aura chilled the surrounding environment.

The soldiers were swift, closing in on Harold, one in front with no weapon drawn to subdue him, while the other remained behind, their pistol drawn now and ready to fire, though practicing trigger discipline. The AMTF trooper in front swiftly reached Harold, noting the cold, but also anticipating the magic, and flared his null field, moving in to take the man to the ground and restrain him where he couldn’t cause harm.

As this happened, the two AMTF agents near the stage were swiftly in position, blocking the entry to the stage itself, while Nielsen moved in from the wings to Miranda’s side. He didn’t remove her, yet, but placed his body in such a way as to be able to retrieve and evacuate her at any moment. Whether Cherry Pop would follow would be up to her.

Harold growled as the two agents approached him, and quickly went into a battle stance! “Out of my way!” The cold aura seemed to fail against the Rohane’s null field, but the man’s rage in itself began to...twist him into a both a bloodthirsty rage, and scream in pain! Despite that, he charges in an attempt to smash the agent with his fists!

The white woman whistled as one pawn is down, and gestured a hand for the other to begin their play.

“It helps to understand both how we got here and our responsibility to the greater public-” Miranda was interrupted when… That guy from…Miranda looked confused on why he, Roland, was here.

“Then why did you sell us out?” The shaggy and brownish mouse man in suit shouted, at the gamer candidate. “Sell out to the rich and will do nothing to help us out!”

“W-What? ”Miranda gasped. “P-Pard me love-”

“Screw your bullshit. The sewer gang and the rest of us will end this system of oppression!” Roland the mouse drew out his wand and fired a way of magic missiles! Miranda yelped as a blast of the magic hit her shoulder and caused the whole stage to panic! In fact… three dozen gangster magic rats jumped to enact their violence and attack ANYONE they can reach their hands on.

Chaos and hate erupted as the white woman grinned and used… a small enchantment to make other average men to become blind in rage and join in the brawl!

Harold was down in mere moments, his rage hardly enough to challenge the trained Anti-Magic Task Force operatives, and was soon in magic-dampening cuffs. The second agent who had been directed to help stop Harold turned, fully drawing their pistol, but swiftly holstering it after realizing they couldn’t fire into the group mixed with civilians. They moved into cover, quickly radioing the outside agents to call for assistance, most especially of the medical kind, before sneakily reaching out and grabbing one of the gangsters by the leg, dragging him behind a seat and knocking him out cold.

The agents near the stage were in better positions, their slight height advantage giving them clear firing angles that they took with precision. They were exceedingly careful not to fire into any location that might result in them hitting civilians, and soon found themselves having to take cover and try to take down the gangsters in melee long enough to clear exits for the civilians.

On stage, Nielsen had already grabbed Miranda, hauling her into the back passages. It seemed it had been a good idea to give her the dress, as it had prevented any serious injury from the magic missile, but the AMTF was taking no chances in evacuating the VIP. Hadad, meanwhile was scrambling to get the wounded to safety where she could attempt to provide emergency care.

Finally, the door to the white woman’s box crashed open, two agents of the AMTF bursting through. One was Commander Theodrin, who had left his own box as the chaos erupted and met up with the reinforcement from outside, and the other was the reinforcement, Major Enrique Emola. The Major swiftly had his assault rifle pointed at the back of the womans skull, while Theodrin moved forward, pistol drawn, to place her under arrest.

“Hands up!” the Major barked, angling slightly so she couldn’t get both Rohanians in one go. “And then on the ground! Now!” he instructed, as both he and Theodrin flexed their null fields just enough to try and suppress her ability to use further magic.

“Oh?” The White Woman puckered her lips as she watched the mayhem down beyond as the civilians attempted to escape the theater. Commander Theodrin can sense the power of the ‘lady’ radiated off was overwhelming, as an unnatural or divine source shines the brightest from her soul. “A rifle against the blizzard? A childish play against the coming storm that will reveal the truth of a sapient's kind of hate. Look.”

She gestured at the struggling mouse men who attempted to find cover and cast low level magic against the well armed AMTF and the Silver Aegis lady. “Those displaced and scourged of the poor know how the rich like Miranda sells them false hopes with a promise she cannot fulfill or change.” She then pointed to CEO Lorenz who decked one of the ratmen as he escaped. “To the rich who care for their wealth and power. Perhaps desires more with no regards to the massives. Even the president herself will love the rich and go back to keep her power while the masses lose more and more of their power to the squabbles. Naturally, you’ll disagree with my methods and ideals, but true freedom must be ignited for how much hate the population has against each other. Even I was awakened to this truth.”

“I’m not here to debate philosophies,” Enrique replied, quickly reaching into a pocket of his uniform and popping something in his mouth. A quick swallow later, and his null field suddenly flared, the output increasing and battling with the White Woman’s power, slowly creeping around to at least suppress it through surrounding it. Theodrin approached, placing a hand on her, focusing down his own powers to try and suppress her at the source.

In the theater itself, the AMTF was making surprisingly quick work of most of the gangsters, their superior training and combat readiness shining through as they took down more and more. The agent who had taken down Harold was now directing the evacuation, ensuring civilians got out in moments when the AMTF would actively be covering their escape, and then efficiently getting out of the building entirely.

“How pitiful.” As the white woman decided to snap her finger, the suppression effect was thrown off the ice lady’s offed aim as she teleported a few feets up and then fell down into the audience hall! “Your interference will be your last!” The White Woman twirled wildly in a madden stance and spoke in a draconic tongue to unleash an icy cone right at Enrique and the rest of the box! While its power itself disappeared wildly to escape the full blow, its intense subzero cold that nimbles the limbs to the point of death will be dreadful if they stood there for too long!

Or so the White Woman may have thought, but the two Rohanians seemed largely unaffected. Indeed, the box appeared wholly fine, until they both left back out the door, when it suddenly began to ice over. But the rest of the AMTF on the ground realized nearly simultaneously that this was both the biggest threat and their chance to potentially stop this, and so the operatives on the ground moved, nearly in unison, to surround her, their null fields overlapping and draining at her strength constantly. Two remained behind, providing enough covering fire to evacuate what few civilians remained, before also moving in to trap her.

Miranda looked back to see Cherry Pop’s lil stunt to run back and witness the site! The Songstress gasped as the ‘White Woman’ began to freeze in place and crack as her essence seemed to fade. “No way… It can’t be!”

“Cherry, what the heck are you doing?!” Miranda called out.

“I don’t think she’s human or a typical snow woman.” Cherry Pop said.

As the White Woman froze in place, it started to crack apart, Cherry Pop eyes widened as her education across the Bardic School in Crystal Spires and across Silverdalean mythology spoke about. “A mouth from the ice will be chosen from one’s sacrifice to fuel the frozen heart of hate… from that sacrifice returns the spirit of… Garyx and resurrects her vengeance.” She took her head as the frozen statue collapsed!

“It can’t be!” Cherry Pop gasped as the null field destroyed the physical magical power that created a mere avatar of a dragon goddess. Only the cracks and laughter in draconic spoke before the spirit disappeared. “Was that… a mere image of Garyx’s will?!”

“Come on,” Nielsen said to Miranda, directing her out the back and into one of the waiting vehicles. “We’re leaving, no chances taken. The other agents can handle it from here. Your shoulder is ok, right?”

“A little burn really.” Miranda half-joked. “But golly! You guys defeated some shadow boss of the final boss right there!”

“Right, right, we’ll have Hadad look at it later. For now, we’re going.” Nielsen helped Miranda into the car, getting in himself, followed by one of the two remaining outside agents, and soon it was tearing off, heading towards safety. The other agent waited by the other vehicle.

Inside, the AMTF quickly subdued the last of the mafia, taking away their arms and ensuring they couldn’t escape, while Hadad began checking the escaped civilians for wounds right as the sound of sirens began to float into earshot.

In a short matter of time, a wave of emergency vehicles, police cars, SWAT, and Arcane Enforcers swarmed the theater. Waves of armed police creatures of all kinds stormed the building, alongside the Police Commissioner of Silver city, and the many paramedics followed suit to attend to the wounded. There were tens, if not at a hundred, who suffered from assaults to severe magical injuries and gun shoots. Those who fell were unknown at this time.

The middle aged light brown earth pony stallion with a well slick white mane scoffed as he approached the group. He was weary and showed signs of age, but he was both surprised and not amused by the sight of the battle. “These Clan Rats used to respect theater and the mark of culture.” He signed as he looked at the captured gangsters. “Now they pulled this stunt in a political rally? What kind of a reckless act motivated them?” The Police Commissioner then approached the available head officer of the AMTF.

“Commissioner Duncan Hoof of the Silver City Police Department will take it for here sir. It seems your folks have cleaned up these… Ahem, street punks, rather well. Hopefully the damage is minimal to the theater itself.” Duncan said. “Regardless, we’ll be taking care of business here and take those rats in. We’ll get them to spill whatever foolish motivations they had.”

“Major Enrique Emola,” the Rohanian offered a hand to shake. “The captain isn’t available at the moment. We would be more than happy to allow you to take over the investigation, our priority is security for our VIP. You should be aware that there did seem to be some kind of ice-based elemental or avatar, but it dissipated when faced by multiple null fields.”

“Dissipated from the null fields?” Duncan raised an eyebrow. “Our magical experts at the lab will look at the remains of this ‘avatar’ so to speak. Not to mention get a good cooler so it won’t melt along the way!” He retorted. “Now, what ‘avatar’ do you speak of Major? I know that for a summon ice elemental, your null fields will dispel it. But an avatar?”

“To be quite honest with you, we don’t have the knowledge to provide you any further information,” the major replied. “Sorry, but all I can tell you was it was a white skinned woman who completely broke apart under the pressure of multiple squad members.”
“How peculiar.” Duncan looked skeptical by such a claim, but looked at the ice. “I have seen illusions like this before and some other tricks by that Crystal Rain Warrior, but this? This is… odd to say that least. Ahem, she didn’t say any magical girl sounding attacks yes?” He then gestured for one of the evidence collectors, an Beestling, to scoop up the icy remains.

“Uh, like in television shows? I don’t believe so, no. If that’s all, Commissioner, we should be getting back to our jobs.”

“Right. I won’t keep you folks here then. The department will ask anyone for further questioning from Miranda, but for now we’ll make sure these rats are in the station.” Commissioner Duncan replied.

The major nodded, rounding up the AMTF, who quickly headed back towards their own vehicle, and soon the remaining agents had left the scene.

Foxy News

Hello there Silverdale, this is Summer Dawn speaking live from Snowy Light and here to deliver your next foxy report! We have breaking news from Silver City itself!

Attack on Belfast Theater

We have shocking words from the shining city of Silver City itself of an attack on another Presidential Rally at Belfast Theater! Reports came in that a gang known as the ‘Silver Shaven’ rose up from the audience and assaulted Candidate Miranda Songbird in the middle of a speech. Sure, you can disagree with one candidate, but this is another step! Now, the heroic Rohanian Anti-Magic Task Force teams assigned to protect the candidate quickly dispatched the rat gang before any serious harm was done. We have some words before the leader was taken in from our cameramen.

“The Silver Shaven will punish those who ratted us out!” Roland shouted as he was dragged into the police car. “Miranda desires it! Her father betrayed us and lived in riches! She must be.” The door closes.”

Talk about some nut show of a vendetta right the! Now, there appears that the Shaven were linked to an ice being, said to be the mastermind behind it all. As we have some words on the ground.

“I swear I’m no coco!” Cherry pop appeared on the camera. “That ice woman was clearly Garyx! She returned and aimed to destroy us all!”

Could it be Garyx, or a mere wild ice monster attack? Well, the official report from Commissioner Duncen says that given the remains left behind and the footage from the security cameras, the possibility of this ice woman attack on the stage may very well be Garyx.

That does leave us with many shocking questions! Does it mean that this coming winter will be another invasion of Garyx like seventy years ago? Is she truly behind all the attacks to our democracy as a whole? Or merely a random event that has nothing to do with it? Stay tuned as we aim to make a special edition to dive deeper into this looming right!

Three Hours Later

PANICK! Winter is coming!

This is Summer Dawn, coming back live to give this report!

Looks like Flax Zone has done it again with this madding clip!

“It’s happening every creature!” A squeaking Rockhopper jumps onto his desk and smashes on it. “I told you this will happen! Garyx is returning, and wants to end all life on Earth! The media tries to suppress the message, but I know this is coming! The Ice Walkers are marching, and we have not much time to waste! Get your guns, food, and firewood as winter is coming! If you don’t believe me, check your weather forecast! It’s dropping colder by the day.”

You said it Flax. *Summer Dawn made an uncomfortable laugh.* That one clip from Info Battles had caused what is basically a rampaging rush to grocery stores across the country to stock up many nonperishable items for the coming winter. Some are even saying that toilet paper has disappeared in the lines as well!

*The screen shows the struggle to get essential foods at the grocery store from the crowd. The red-haired sales clerk appears on the screen.* “I thought this was a typical day, but business exploded! I can’t protest, but… Wait!” *The clerk rushed over to stop a fight breaking out over a box of spaghetti.*

A dawn of a new storage of foods or… Wait, that store is turning into a riot there? Not to mention there is more?!

*The fox woman looked at the screen.* Folks back home, please listen up! Say calm, don’t let your pants fly off, and carry on! Mayhem will only cause things to get worse!

The old fears of Garyx returned. Long defeated in the past, the elders are aware of its threat and danger. The winds howling as the arctic beasts from the darkest corners of the Endless Waste arose to stalk in the many days of night for the new generation who forgot this threat. The sudden fears of a reality of the coming darkness came true as the omens became clear. Time is short. Daylight began to shorten into hours. With that omen, the struggle for food led to many towns across the nation to set ablaze. The food riots had begun.

From: Nadzieja Brzezicki, Prime Minister, United Kingdom of Malgrave

President Fluffkins,

The United Kingdom of Malgrave is deeply concerned about reports of growing food insecurity in Silverdale, alongside the scarcity of important goods such as medical supplies and hygienic items such as hand sanitiser and other assorted cleaning goods. In the immediate aftermath of the Great Exodus, the Malgravean people suffered from similar shortages and so the Malgravean government is acutely aware of how such a crisis can quickly deteriorate into one that negatively impacts national security and the spirit of brotherhood and unity that is required for harmonious relationships between various populations.

It is on that understanding and our commitment to the principles of social solidarity that the Malgravean government will be sending supplies of long-lasting and high caloric food from our partners in MalMart and existing TDF and Royal Marine ration supplies, alongside hygienic and medical supplies from existing MalMart, MalPha and MHS stockpiles in order to ensure that Silverdale doesn't run out of these supplies during a critical time. In addition to that, the Malgravean government is willing to supply the Silverdalean people with MalTec Puffin communication devices to ensure that people have a reliable source of communication, and we are also willing to re-coordinate part of our satellite communications network and position it over Silverdale in order to ensure that remains the case, and both MalTra and MalMart will be on hand to deliver specialised equipment and engineering experts to ensure that Silverdalean infrastructure remains strong over the coming weeks and months.

Of course, the Malgravean government also understands that matters of security will be a concern during this period of time, and so the Malgravean government remains on hand to dispatch specialised peacekeeping units from the Royal Marines to assist Silverdalean security forces maintain a sense of law and order during these trouble times. Alongside such conventional forces we are also prepared to dispatch specialised experts from the Special Investigative Service in order to provide the people of Silverdale with a force that are well versed in dealing with magical threats and have their own ancestral abilities to defend themselves.

In this troubling time the thoughts of the people of Malgrave are with our friends in Silverdale, and so we will do everything in our power to uplift the Silverdalean people during this time so that it can emerge from this crisis stronger.

Winter Palace, Snowy Light
Silverdale

President Fluffykins switched the TV of Foxy news off and gave her fellow congresspony a sharp eye. “Those fucking vultures. One little hot news and the whole country erupted into a national panic!” She then vented. “For the love of all things Luna, the media lost its mind with this story of all things. Not the ice monsters attacks on territorial villages and towns in the South Pole? How ridiculous.”

“In all due respect, maiden president.” The rosy earth pony mare with a tulip flower hairpin, suited in a classic dark red suit, and a cheerful look. “This is the first time the congress, let alone the public, witness footage with multiple eyewitnesses of a powerful ice creature beyond a simple Yuki Onna. My sources do point that this is a manifestation of the ice dragon goddess herself. On the bright side, it is not one of her snow children who assaulted the theater.”

“For this short time, yes.” Fluffykins clapped her hooves on the desk and looked at the window. “But if Snow’s prophecy, alongside those photos that our intelligence had shown us, one of those Snow Children appears to be a winged unicorn… And there can be more of them.” Fluffykyins scoffed and turned back. “Which Silverdale needs to be prepared for then squandering the food vaults for this reckless hoarding.”

Fluffykins then passed up a draft bill for her congress pony. “Scarlet, I’ll need you to help rally the Rose Party and the opposition like the Silver National Front to pass the National Defense Bill through congress. This will be a step to make sure the nation is ready for this long war up ahead.”

“Of course…” Scarlet then looked up at the bill at a glance and back at Fluffykins. “But maiden president, this is risky for us. Not only for your reelection but many of our seats. I mean, this bill contains conscription, increased military budget, wartime industrial programs, national rationing, to emergency power enacted for marshal law amongst others.”

“Yes, but for the stake of National Defense, it must be done.” Fluffykins then pressed her hoof on the deck for her computer device to extend out of the desk. “Princesses will be with us Scarlet, trust me.” Fluffykins knew it’ll be time to answer the Malgravean friends. After all, unlike that idealist Hana who doesn’t have a chance to win the election, Fluffykins is the one who can push actual groundwork and get things done in the office.

Prime Minister Nadzieja Brzezicki,

The people of Silverdale will appreciate the offer for supplement and security forces from our Malgravean friends. As such, we'll accept your aid to negate the food crisis for our civilians to be fed for the winter months, and the security forces for this dire time.

There is one primary concern for supplementing the rations from MalMart, MalPha, and MHS at this time. The period of fall is a little grace from the likelihood of a possible all-time assault from the city horrors from the South Pole. The nation is aware of these periods of times, such as in the Civil War, where the oceans to the very skies themselves threaten dangerous weather conditions and rough waters. When these conditions occur in the near future, monster attacks are likely and bring danger to these shipments. This critical period as the national unrest will shorten this grace period.

Silverdale will offer its logistical forces and transportation to aid with the rations, medical, and other goods to assist with the Malgravean process. Alongside the need for defense assistance if the time is called forth.

Peace and Harmony to you friends,
President Fluffykins

President Fluffykins,

In troubling times such as these, it is important to recognise that the problems in regards to essential items are being caused by a sudden spike in demand which in turn is placing additional strain on the existing logistics supply chain, and while I am quite relieved and thankful that you have decided to accept the earlier offer of assistance and provide aid to our own transportation efforts I have some concerns and new offers which I will detail below.

Just before entering the political sphere, I was active in the field of economics, social welfare policy and social solidarity and during the course of this academic career I wrote an academic paper detailing a similar breakdown in the Malgravean supply chain that was sparked by the unrest and disorder after the failure of Operation Swift and the response of the Malgravean government at the time. It is for that reason that I recommend that immediate actions are taken to calm the people and make it easier to enforce the rationing system, and on that front, I suggest an address to the people detailing the harm that is inflicted upon vulnerable people when hoarding takes place and putting emphasis on the need to come together in a spirit of friendship and unity, and I will attach my research paper in this message for your review.

If needed information on how to streamline this process and implement an efficient rationing system can be sent from our academic archives based on research carried out after the end of rationing in Malgrave during the civil war period. In addition to the communication assistance offered earlier, I will also be instructing a number of intelligence assets belonging to the SIS, TDF and the Royal Marines to divert over the region of Silverdale that is expected to be the main area of concern in regards to monster attacks and share this information freely with the Silverdalean authorities.

I have hope that the Silverdalean people will emerge from this crisis stronger, however, in the meantime, the Malgravean people stand ready to support our Silverdalean friends.

May the Ancestors watch over your path,
Nadzieja Brzezicki

President Fluffykins,

In the days immediately following the Great Exodus and the establishment of our second homeland the Malgravean people found themselves with limited access to essential services such as housing, healthcare and education, and the food situation was rapidly deteriorating and the situation in regards to governance was unstable. It meant that the Ancestral Study Group found itself in the position of providing arrangements for collective housing, healthcare and areas where people can enjoy meals together and share experiences, and while these responsibilities were eventually absorbed by the Malgravean government after the construction of social housing, the re-establishment of the MHS and the revival of the Malgravean economy and agricultural system this charitable spirit never abandoned us.

It was during the period known as the Malgravean Civil War that the Ancestral Study Group continued to provide support and assistance to the Malgravean people, and the destruction wrought during operations such as Operation Swift and the Battle of Pakosc led to us establishing means of delivering not just the food and essential supplies that people required to live but the emotional support that individuals need to move on from a traumatic experience, and this is an experience that has been utilised over the years to heal the divides caused by the annexation of the Socialist Republic and the National Workers Republic and the successful end of the counter-terrorism campaign that followed.

In the years following the successful conclusion of the Malgravean Civil War and the re-integration of the separatist territories the Ancestral Study Group found need for its charitable services declining, however, the end of diplomatic isolation and the expansion of the ASG into the international community made us aware that quite a few people across the Mystrian region and the wider world required the charitable assistance of our organisation, and from locations from Crystal Spires to Breheim the ASG has been at the forefront of delivering much needed supplies and assistance to those in need.

It is is through that prism that the Ancestral Study Group showcases its concern over the situation developing in Silverdale, we know from academic experience that the immediate cause of a shortage is caused by the logistic network of a nation struggling to meet the sudden spike of demand, however, it is important to note the long-term issues that can be caused by such natural or even artificial disasters and so the Ancestral Study Group will be utilising our connections to help the Malgravean government deliver supplies to the Silverdalean people, and we will provide assistance to promote the implementation of rationing and the progression of a mood comparable to that of social solidarity where everyone works together for the benefit of the nation.

Since its foundation the Ancestral Study Group has built up a dedicated team of researchers, and forged connections with esteemed educational institutions across Malgrave (and in more recent years the international community) including establishments that delve into Ancestral Energy (something you might know as magic). In the spirit of understanding the current crisis that is impacting Silverdale the ASG will be working with these institutions and will be establishing the Mystrian Scientific Committee on the Silverdalean Crisis (MSCS) which will be open to those that wish to assist the efforts of Malgrave on unlocking the secrets of recent events.
