Poland decriminalized homosexuality in 1932 (under the 2nd Polish Republic), however the country does not recognize same-sex marriages. LGBT people are allowed to participate in society, but are heavily stigmatized against (due to widespread Catholicism and social conservatism), and the country provides no legal protections against hate speech; this has led to many LGBT people in Poland refusing to come out. Poland is one of the worst countries for LGBT rights in Europe, and the MO-run puppet government is not intent on improving such rights.
