Hundredstar Senate is a national unicameral legislature of Hundredstar. The Senate holds its sitting four times a year at Federal Senate Building or known as Xavier Legislative Center in Bledllyn.

The Senate was established in 1991 by virtue of Federal Delegation Act of 1990. Its first sitting was held at Bledllyn on 11 Jan 1991. The Senate comprises three types of members: members with appointed by King [King-appointed Rep] which have 96 members including the Speaker, members elected by a citizen when general election [People Elected Rep] which have 500 senators including a Vice Speaker, and members appointed by Government [Gov Appointed Rep] which have 313 members including the Honorary Secretary. Under Federal Elected Persons Terms Limit Act of 1990, All 909 senators and speaker are limited for one term [5-year's].

The Senate follows the practice of other parliaments. All bills presented in the Senate go through three readings. All bills, however, must obtain prior approval from the Cabinet prior to their presentation in the Senate. Once a bill is passed, a bill must obtain Royal Assent and Prime Minister Executive Order in order to turn such bill to a Federal Act.

The current Speaker is H. E Senator General (Ret.) Armand Dike Rookchappel, Air Force, KAR, former Chief of Joint Staff. The current Vice Speaker is H.E Senator Dr. Marcus N. Nightwinter, PER, and H.E Senator Pamela H. Burley, GAR held as Senate Hons. Secretary.

We have a Parliament of Governor's and the governers each get to choose 1 other person to represent their province. And the Prime Minister is elected and all that yabber jabber. We also have a King who controls the Executive Branch. Which is the overhead of the Legislative branch.

Corrupt Dictatorship

The Imperial Senate is an ancient, if not useless, institution. The Senate's roots lay in the ancient Alarii Republic; which was the authoritative body of that ancient state. The Modern Senate is a sad, pathetic shadow of that once well renowned institution for which various senates until the modern day take their name. It is comprised of two hundred members, one hundred of which are landed nobles who have no intention of ever yielding their god-given power and ability to oppress everyone over nothing; the other hundred is divided chaotically between fifty representatives of the Empire's guilds, incredulously wealthy cliques of new money who vie to acquire power; while the last fifty are stupid peasants who think they can change the system built from the ground up to oppress them somehow.

In short, the Senate is a joke.

The Orassan legislature, the Council of Captains, represents the various sectors of industry. Each sector is granted a number of representatives based on its membership. While we ensure that every citizen is represented, the exact composition is a matter of ongoing debate.
