Unfortunately Nanako Island couldn't be fully ranked due to this unanswered question.

This unique starting population of academics has given rise, over the 2989 years of colonisation, to languages which have no concept of gender, to cultures of equity, and to virtual incomprehensibility of the concepts of discriminating against people for their sex, gender, or their romantic and sexual orientations.
This may leave the impression that many Nikopolian and Asnean laws are lacking in specific protections, but this is not malice or ignorance or incompetence: there is simply no reason to legislate to protect people from something that literally doesn't happen.

No human government on Asnea has a legal concept of sex, gender, or orientation. To the government, people are people, their gender is irrelevant, their sex is irrelevant, and their sexual and romantic preferences are irrelevant. There is no legal distinction between cis and trans people nor between pan, gay, or straight people because both the cultures and languages of Asnean humans do not discriminate between people based on any of these concepts. In 21st century terms, the entire human population of the planet can be considered de jure Pansexual and Agender, and in practice this is also usually the case.

Sex is moderately different, and it is treated like other variable characteristics such as height, eye colour, or the predisposition of freckling versus tanning - people are sorted into the XYZ/O system based on their sexual characteristics. X is for people born with vaginas, Y for those with penises, Z for people with both (not considered intersex, true hermaphroditic people now account for roughly 2/5 of all human births), and ZO for people with divergent sexual characteristics other than those main three (intersex people). This data is stored and used only in their medical records, which are accessible only by them and authorized persons like doctors and parents. Parents of ZO infants are allowed to choose to start their child on Gene therapy to conform them to the Z category so long as the child is under the age of 2, but this is generally discouraged in favour of letting the child decide once they start puberty. The changing of one's physical sex is treated with the same social urgency as getting a nosejob, and there is no social distinction between people of different sexes.

Information about social customs: The head of a family, called the patriarch (does not necessarily have to be male, but usually is because in most families women leave the family on marriage) has the right to make legally enforcable rules governing the family, involving things such as marriage, childrearing, conduct, and employment. The government will enforce rules that restrict LGBT+ rights within a family, even if the government does not have the authority to restrict those rights. Anyone at the age of 18 can leave their family and start a new one consisting initially of only themself, but if they do not do so they often cannot leave their family for the rest of their life.

Official name: the Netherlands
After some disputes within the PVV and the CDP about the new political party (National Party of the Netherlands) PM Legtenberg announced that the name will be the Conservative Party. Because the initial NPN became associated with far-right parties NSB and NSDAP in the '30s and '40s. PM Legtenberg further announced that the Netherlands wil also be a Federal Republic from 1 January 2024. And that he will become the first President of the Netherlands. How this will affect the elections will be decided by him and the House

Equality & Non-discrimination

Sexual Orientation

Does your constituition (or equivalent) includes provisions banning or limiting discrimination based on sexual orientation? Yes
Does your country have employment laws that prevent discrimination based of sexual orientation? Yes, in most states
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to purchase goods and services regardless of sexual orientation? These are covered by the aforementioned constitutional protections
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to have a proper education regardless of sexual orientation? These are covered by the aforementioned constitutional protections
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to have a proper healthcare regardless of sexual orientation? These are covered by the aforementioned constitutional protections
Is your country's human rights institution or equality body (if they exist at all) mandated to provide rights and protection to all sexual orientations , or is it systematically working on this regardless of a mandate? No such body exists, so this is not applicable
Does your government operate an active policy of improving human rights, protection and equality explicitly to all sexual orientation? To an extent yes. One notable example is in foreign policy - Radiatia has generally been a strong voice condemning countries that discriminate or deny basic human rights to homosexuals

Gender Identity

Does your constituition (or equivalent) includes provisions banning or limiting discrimination based on gender identity? No, as 'gender identity' is not recognised
Does your country have employment laws that prevent discrimination based of gender identity? Yes, but not specifically because of gender identity. These are just basic rights that everyone is entitled to.
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to purchase goods and services regardless of gender identity? Yes, although this isn't specifically about gender identity. But all Radiatians are given the freedom to purchase goods and services freely - this is in the constitution
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to have a proper education regardless of gender identity? Yes, but not specifically because of gender identity. These are just basic rights that everyone is entitled to.
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to have a proper healthcare regardless of gender identity? Yes, but not specifically because of gender identity. These are just basic rights that everyone is entitled to.
Is your country's human rights institution or equality body (if they exist at all) mandated to provide rights and protection to all gender identities , or is it systematically working on this regardless of a mandate? N/A - no such body exists
Does your government operate an active policy of improving human rights, protection and equality explicitly to all gender identities? No

Sex Characteristics

Does your constituition (or equivalent) includes provisions banning or limiting discrimination based on sexual characteristic? Yes
Does your country have employment laws that prevent discrimination based of sexual characteristic? Yes
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to purchase goods and services regardless of sexual characteristic? Yes
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to have a proper education regardless of sexual characteristic? Yes
Does your country have laws allowing anyone to have a proper healthcare regardless of sexual characteristic? Yes
Is your country's human rights institution or equality body (if they exist at all) mandated to provide rights and protection to all sexual characteristic , or is it systematically working on this regardless of a mandate? N/A
Does your government operate an active policy of improving human rights, protection and equality explicitly to all sexual characteristic? Yes

Gender Expression

May LGBT+ people donate blood (or any kind of bodily tissue) equally as heterossexual people in your nation? Yes of course

Family

Can same-sex couples marry with the same rights as different-sex couples in your nation? Yes
Can same-sex couples enter into a civil partnership with the same rights as different-sex couples in your nation? Yes
Can same-sex couples in your country enter into a civil partnership with weaker rights as married different-sex couples? No - you have the same rights and responsibilities
Does your constituition or law limits marriage to a single kind of couple, like man and woman? No

Can individuals, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, receive fertility treatment including artificial insemination? Yes
Can transgender people marry based on their gender identity after their legal gender recognition, thus entering a different-sex marriage? No - you will only be recognised as the gender you were born as, however this is irrelevant as gender is not a factor in marriage law. There are literally states where you can marry your dog, so gender isn't really something people worry about.
Are transgender parents recognised on birth certificates, documents, etc...? I mean, if they're the parents then yes, but the father will not suddenly be recognised as the mother if they have a sex change

Hate Crime and Hate Speech

Sexual Orientation

Is sexual orientation especifically defended in hate crime legislation? There is no specific legislation called 'hate crime'
Is sexual orientation especifically defended in hate speech legislation? There is no such thing as 'hate speech' legislation as this would violate the right to freedom of expression
Is sexual orientation especifically included in government strategies to counter hate crime and hate speech? It's not a big priority as historically these people haven't been targets of hate crime in Radiatia, thanks mainly to the relative absence of religion in Radiatian society

Gender Identity

Can intersex minors receive non-necessary medical or surgical intervention before they reach the age of informed consent? N/A
