Today on April 10th the Republic of Anatea has officially accepted the annexation of the Dalstavia region of the Federal Republic of Ruthenia, after the region, economically devastated by the Ruthenian Civil War of 6 years ago, lost its total confidence in the Ruthenian government in a revival.
The annexation took place in a referendum issued by the regional governor Hollas Clermont, supported by high political offices in the region, which had a positive outcome in the area with 76% of the votes in favor of annexation against 24%. The federal republic of Ruthenia has condemned the referendum calling it anti-democratic, addressing the anateans as violators of the national sovereignties of others, but defense minister Jared Olsen responded to the comment by defining that "the Dalstavia region had been asking the central state of Ruthenia for help for several years after the latter had ignored them several times while the citizens were starving in the streets." Recalling also that "the annexation was wanted by the Dalstavians on their own free will, without any threat or constraint from the anatean government."
With the succession of tensions, many convoys of anatean humanitarian aid crossed the border to provide first aid, escorted by military units of the ADF to guarantee the security of aid in the unstable region, while the ruthenian army has armored the borders with Dalstavia separating the area from the rest of the nation.

Moving on to the news on the economy, today the central anatean government has accepted the request to drastically reduce taxes on commercial enterprises with a standard threshold of 1.900 ₳ per month, wanting to benefit from the proliferation of commercial activities without too many taxes and increase the costs of healthcare and defense given the growing tensions.

Regarding the defense the anatean army decided to buy the first 12 AF-1 "Chimera" models that the "Kalynn" industries has finished testing and producing a few weeks ago, wanting to start deploying a new 5th generation fighter to modernize the anatean air force in the event of conflicts and dangers. >>

We open this edition with a shocking news coming from south of Anatea.
Today a convoy of the "Anatean Humanitarian Aid" was attacked by mortar shells on the border between the region of Dalstavia and the Federal Republic of Ruthenia, causing a total of 6 dead and 13 wounded, of which 8 are serious. The aggressors, some ruthenian soldiers, apologized for the inconvenience, but for several weeks these incidents have been continuing since the new region was incorporated by Anatea. Infact it seems that between the Dalstavia region and the Federal Republic of Ruthenia a real guerrilla war is underway. While the ruthenians provoke the anatean government with artillery bombardments across the border on refugee camps or probable rebel dalstavian bases, the rebel movement "Free Dalstavia" carries out its reprisals.
On both sides the situation is not the best, so much that King Edward II has invited to remain calm and to resolve this problem to Solisea, but the ruthenian government refused the invitation, postponing any diplomatic discussions.
But with the intensification of the incidents on the border, Defense Minister Jared Olsen threatened Ruthenia with the following words:
" If another bombardment or attack on any of our convoys occurs again, Anatea will consider them as a direct attack to the nation, and as such we will be forced to defend itself. "
At the moment the ruthenian government has not expressed its opinion yet, but King Edward II is hopeful about resolving the matter as soon as possible and with the least number of deaths on both sides.

Regarding sport, Anatea is preparing to organize the summer edition of Formula 1 Anatea Edition 2019 event. The location where the event will take place is still unknown, but the date is marked for June 5.

While on politics, the elections for the presidency of Anatea took place today on May 1st. The winning party was the Set party, with Mark Sorbo as the chosen representative. It is the first time in 5 years that a right-wing party takes over the reins of Anatea, after the nation has been run by the Lucets for years.

We open this edition with a very special news. King Edward II finally managed to schedule a peaceful meeting with Kars Delai, leader of Ruthenia. The meeting will take place in Freyja, in Shadoveil, to decide what to do about the Dalstavian question that is cracking the situation between the two nations. The date of the meeting is unknown, given the delicacy and importance of the event, but King Edward II is hopeful of finding a solution that brings together both factions.

On the military side, however, tensions on the border of Dalstavia increase, but since defense minister Jared Olsen threatened Ruthenia, the bombing on anatean humanitarian associations fell drastically by 60%, not reporting any victim for days except some rare wounded involved in the clashes between the Ruthenian army and the "Free Dalstavia" rebel group. The King and the defense minister both agreed that a lot of money must be focused on healtcare in view of a national emergency, thus reducing unnecessary expenses. Infact the Anatean Navy has decommissioned the 10 Iowa class battleships supplied to them, while the Anatean Defense Forces have removed all checkpoints on allied or friendly nation borders, wanting to aim for a more mobile and faster border defense.

Official sources have confirmed us that today the plane of king Edward II and the anatean delegation had left for a peace meeting with the leader of Ruthenia in Shadoveil. But the images they are transmitting here in studio are chilling.
Above Gabrielland's skies a real dogfight is taking place, while a large aircraft belonging to the anatean delegation is falling into flames from the sky. O...On board there were King Edward II, Queen Isabel II, Defense Minister Jared Olsen and some members of the Set party. H...Here... we can also confirm with the help of some official sources that nobody seems to have managed to save himself. T-This is a really black day for Anatea and its people. By pure luck Princess Soleri remained in Solisea due to some government commitments, having given us an interview that we' ll follow live in a few hours. Today is a black day for our nation ... My father and my mother, our beloved rulers of this peaceful nation, died a few hours ago at the hands of a vile attack by Ruthenia, that not only cowardly kill my parents without even showing itself, but it took the opportunity to attack and start an invasion of the Dalstavia region, south of Anatea.
Our diplomats worked day and night to prevent this, but Ruthenia didn' t want to listen and deceived us, even though we had all the peaceful intentions of resolving this thing in peace.
Now lots of our compatriots are fighting to the south to defend us from this imminent threat, recommending them to return home safe and sound.
I hope we will be able to get out of this situation without too many deaths, and hoping that madness and anger will not bath in blood the lands of both countries. >>

Today we get some news from the Dalstavia region, about the attempted conquest of Mirevka by the Ruthenian Army. On the morning of May 25th, the ruthenian troops attempted a siege of the city, but the anatean troops of the 3rd Infantry Division kept the city, driving out the attackers. The balance is 2.853 anatean deaths, while the ruthenians suffered a heavy loss of 4.974 deaths. Princess Sofia expressed her condolences for the dead of both sides, while Prime Minister Mark Sorbo announced that Anatea will not leave the Dalstavia region in the hands of "butchers who sow death and destruction".

We have news from Dalstavia, more precisely from the city of San Palia. The Ruthenian army attacked the area with infantry units and helicopters but the anateans, although poorly equipped and in smaller number, have stood up to the ruthenians inflicting severe losses on the enemy.
During the fightings, however, many civilians were killed by crossfire of both factions, making the estimate amount to a total of 4.643 victims, while the anateans lost 5.105 soldiers in the face of 5.511 by Ruthenia. With this failed offensive, Ruthenia seems to have stopped to regroup, while Anatea is trying in every way not to be caught unprepared by his enemy.

Today's news are very important, as the Dalstavia War is over and the Anatean Republic will be reorganized into a Federation!
Regarding the end of the Dalstavian War, several days before the signing of the peace treaty, Princess Sofia Soleri and Ruthenian leader Kars Delai had decided the fate of the disputed region, surrendering it to Anatea on the condition of leaving it autonomous in the management of its interests, something that the dalstavians have willingly accepted. Instead Ruthenia will take care of repaying the war damages inflicted on the Anatean Armed Forces and the Dalstavia region. Today in fact the two leaders have finally signed the peace treaty, putting an end to a bloody conflict in Anatea' s history.

On the news about the reorganization of the government, Princess Sofia Soleri has grasped the request for autonomy of some regions and of the pact with Ruthenia to reorganize the nation into a Federation, so as to leave room for the commercial and environmental interests of the various regions. The parliament and the members of the government will remain unchanged, but the Princess warns that the flag will undergo a change, making this the 3rd change to our flag from the formation of Anatea.

ANATEA CHANGES ITS OWN FLAG; MOBILIZATION FOR THE SAN CALIA CRISIS

We have hot news for you, as today the government has issued 2 important announcements: the first concerns the change of the national flag for the new government, while the second concerns the anatean intervention in the San Calia crisis to protect its ally.

The anatean flag was changed for the third time since the birth of the nation a few millennia ago. The new flag, more modern, carries the symbol of the Anatean Sun in the center, while the blue and white divide the space, showing the position of the sky and the sea. Around the symbol of the sun 10 stars make their appearance. These signs, together with the symbol, represent the 11 regions of Anatea of which the federation is formed.
The flag was raised at the government building at 10 AM this morning.

Regarding the San Calia crisis, Princess Sofia Soleri offered her military support accepted by the leader of San Calia to counter the crisis. The princess's words are as follows: >>

Quoting the Article 1 Section 3 of the Charter of the Dokodo Union: " A declaration of war on a member state is a declaration of war on the Dokodo Union. Any act of war committed against Member States of the Dokodo Union by Non-Member States or Entities will be considered the same as a formal declaration of war upon the Dokodo Union as a whole. Any unprovoked act of aggression of any kind that is committed by Non-Member States or Entities against Member States shall be considered a threat to the sovereignty of the Dokodo Union at large, which justifies the Dokodo Union to take necessary collective actions to safeguard this sovereignty. "
With this, the Anatean Federation will send an infantry division and 4 squadrons to help our endangered ally. >>
