Alinghi is criticised, by his immigration policy considered to permissime. Other denonuces the "hypocrisy" because despite that Alinghi is one of the nation that host most immigrants in the world, Alinghi is one of the nation that will expell immigrats in the world (ca. the 40%-55% of immigrats arrived legally will be expelled from the country withon 5 years since thier arrival).
This critics went mostly form islamic contries because one the most common the reason of expulsion was hate speech against other religious groups, or against homosexuals, but not only citizen from islamic counties were expelled from the country, also some chirstian foundementalist are expelled for the same reason (ex. russian ortodox, polish and hungarian catholics, American Evangelists, non alingan citizen's jewish charedi/ortodox jews, are the most affected to anti-foundementalist expulsion policy).
The Countries s leded by right-wing govermnets, accuse the Confederation to fund the "invasion" of immigrants, to spread "Soros agenda", what are the home of the "elite".

Most critics is the treatment against religion in general. Then the believer are not discriminated by the society, the religious istitutions also are heavly criticized, and most people outside the country, critics the laws against these religion istitutions, and accuses the Alingan government to limit the freedom of religion. In Alinghi is forbidden all financement of cults place from people from foreign people, forbid to spread hate speech against other social groups, the penality it's a hevy fine and an eventual the closure of the cult's place (most of them is reopened with a new gestion). Some Evangelical or other foundementalist group consider Alinghi a nation with State Atheism (really Alinghi despite this law remain a secularized nation without a State Religion).

Authoritarianism because of the single-party regime, widespread use of torture on political prisoners, support for terrorist organizations (usually socialist-leaning ones, Marxist or otherwise), lack of press freedom, alleged persecution of sexual minorities, imprisonment of the clergy, generally self-enforced conformism and sobriety, waging information wars on Western countries (who wage it on us in the first place), having gulags, etc.

Pretty much everything non-Western regimes are accused of.

We are mostly criticized for refusing to sign or conform with any of the mandates laid out by international organizations regarding the prohibition of drugs and prostitution. Our nation proudly offers safe and pure legalized drugs, and a system where prostitutes can receive public health services rather than prison sentences. Coconut Palm Islanders really, really, really hate any government that medals in an individual's affairs, or imposes harsh penalties for things like drugs.

Also, the King frequently gets in trouble for calling out tyrants. On his last visit to the United States, he was thrown out of the country for calling the President a "[explicit] fascist" and saying, in an interview to the American people, "If your leadership spent half as much money helping you as they do violating your rights and the rights of those overseas, you could again become the greatest nation on Earth." Also, after the US's and Europe's recent wave of anti-refugee sentiment, the King personally sent giant military airplanes to pick up refugees denied asylum requests, to allow them to start a new life on our Island.

In short, the international community criticizes us for refusing to criminalize personal decisions and for aggressively helping those in need, without worrying about the "image" of other world leaders. We wear those criticisms like a badge of honor.

Ziyu isn't often condemned, usually being lauded as a beacon of stability and freedom in a historically unstable and dangerous region. Despite this, ZIyu's history often brings criticisms, with neighbouring countries complaining about atrocities that allegedly happened under the military-ran First Republic. During this period, Ziyu invaded and occupied the frontier countries of Yasan, Shishan, and Beytan, as well as leading the internationally unsupported military intervention in Kyrat, supporting anti-communist government forces against the People's Republican Army.

My, my, we are hated.

"Problematic issues" ranging from our largely laissez-faire capitalist economic system and our use of direct-democratic legislation, often by fringes of both sides, ranging from Marxists to absolute monarchists, which seem to dominate too much of the world in our time), to our rather lax firearm/weapon restrictions for the public and our relative openness to immigration are frequently highlighted by the world as they scream for our demise. More in-depth summaries follow.

-Even a good amount of American right-wingers think our corporatism passes the bar for what's acceptable- but due to our small size in terms of physical territory, large companies and groups form the backbone of our economy.

-We are a relatively small nation in terms of population and territory, and instead of using a bicameral legislative system, we have a Senate, who proposes and initially votes on laws, before a public referendum is held in regards to that law. While others may look down on such politics for fear that people are stupid and can't make decisions for themselves, this system hasn't failed us since we were founded.

-We uphold the freedom to defend oneself from any party or authority that may oppose their civil and human rights. Besides, many local arms manufacturers are a decent amount of our economy- and we were even founded partially as a safehaven for PMCs and mercenaries in the past, although few mention that.

-Concerning immigration, we're a melting-pot nation and widely accepting of most, if not all, races and cultures (although each individual has their background checked and heavily scrutinized for terrorist or hostile histories). Additionally, we're always in need of more to add to our workforce, and if there's any trouble with refugees, well... There's a reason why everyone has a gun.

-Many chastise us for our military-industrial complex and our interventionism in foreign armed conflict, saying a nation of our size shouldn't be a warmonger- but as such, there's always a history to things. A good 30-34% of the Exodian population were natives of the former British-Russian colony of Asha-Wang in the North Pacific, which suffered a Communist coup for many years. A decent 50-65% of the Exodian population fought in that war or had a relative that did, most of them foreign-born fighters and PMCs recruited by resistance groups, when said resistance groups received little-to-no official support from foreign governments. To us, we simply can't leave the underdog behind in such situations.

-Often criticized for supporting the State of Israel, the Kurdish people, the nation of Rhodesia, the Prussian-Polish Commonwealth, and the Republic of China/Taiwan (which we recognize as legitimate China). Some say it's due to our immigrant populations from those nations, but our position, put crudely, is simply "They've been through a lot of shit they didn't have to go through, and so did we."

-Our alliance with Junia Pinochet's anarcho-capitalist Liberated Republic of Chile is also heavily criticized, although that's a completely different story from the above. No real explanation needed.

-We've faced some heat in regards to our absolute ban on abortion (unless in cases of incest or the critical condition of the mother), as it's defined as murder within our Constitution.

-We didn't legalize LGBT "marriage" until the late-2020s, still define them as civil unions, and we have restrictions on such couples to formally have custody of children.

-We proudly maintain an arsenal of medium-yield thermonuclear weapons numbering in the low hundreds- but with the threat of several colonial absolute empires that should have dissolved quite some time ago encroaching on our territories, we developed chemical weapons for use as deterrent. And too many people lost their minds when they forgot to look up the definition of deterrent.

-I need a drink. Some say we drink and vape too much.

-Building on that topic, we almost suffered our first government shutdown during the first hundred days of the Shang administration over the legalization of recreational marijuana. Recreational marijuana is legal now, to the chagrin of many conservatives worldwide.

-Plenty give us hate because we're a mostly secular nation that yes, was largely founded on Judeo-Christian values and how most major religious organizations are tax-exempted.

-While we are internationalists, we're definitely not globalists and respect the borders and sovereignty of all nations... and oh, look, it's the paid globalist protestors again...

-In regards to our more... unsavory moments, we used to categorize transgenderism with clinical mental illnesses and didn't allow gender conversion. We also currently don't allow transgenders currently undergoing conversion in active combat roles within our military or police forces, similarly to the United States.

-We were even ridiculed because both our last and current Governor are young, unmarried male virgins.

In the end, we shrug off the virtue-signaling and the zealotry, the vitriol and the controversy, the absoluteness and rage culture of both the right and left wing (mostly the latter), and dare to defy a world that wishes us harm.

Cascadia faces fervent opposition and popular criticism for their societal structure which removes long-assured human rights in favor of economic efficiency. Cascadia maintains a slave industry, where 'lesser' people are designated as drones; which are used to cheaply uphold cleanliness and menial labor. Though automation is rapidly phasing the Drones out, it will forever stand as evidence that the Cascadian government is willing to treat their population as a collective resource contributing to other resources, based on genetic happenstance.

Despite being an alien/non-human nation with different culture, environment, weather, history, and biology. Some, often human, nations dislike us for our more authoritarian/sovereign government. Most fail to comprehend how being a different species/race affects political ideology like socialism. They automatically assume the populace is being oppressed or abused by corrupt dictators.

  • Ankuran's policies are often criticized as anti-free-market, socialist, and overly protective. The term "nanny state" gets thrown around.

  • Copyright laws draw significant ire and make foreign businesses hesitant to invest. Namely, that copyrights and trademarks boil down to government-granted licenses to produce or use a given design, idea, et cetera, which can be distributed or revoked by the government, and using a licensed property without proper licensing often sees no reparation for licensees.

  • Strong focus on nuclear power makes other countries wary, afraid that this nuclear base could quickly be repurposed into a nuclear weapons arsenal.

  • Everything surrounding marriages: almost no government benefits for married couples; no laws against polygamy, adultery, or same-sex marriage (though civil cases for fraud can be made); societal insistence on prenuptial agreements; and marriage annulments for a long list of reasons.

  • Ankuran's location and relative power makes many US citizens see it as helpless and believe it owes its continued existence to the US.

  • Ankuran's strict pro-environment and collectivist policies feel draconian to outsiders.

  • Ankuran's cyber police policies have been described as "Orwellian."

  • The rabbits. Rabbits are a source of national pride and identity, and there's even a government bureau that fights defamation of the jack-booted cottontail. Everyone else thinks Ankurani are bunny-f*ckers.

  • The government's avowedly secular policies, as well as the formal adoption of an obscure religion in an effort to dispel rumors that Ankuran is "anti-God."

  • The government's reluctance to engage in international military and police action coupled with an eagerness to assist in humanitarian and relief efforts is often seen as counterproductive at best, fuel to the fire at worst.

  • There's still a lot of bad blood between Ankuran, Belgium, and certain parts of Africa, due to Ankuran's origins as a Belgian colony.

  • Focus on remote, automated, cyber, and propaganda warfare in lieu of traditional methods of war.

  • Ankuran's government is outspoken on a large number of issues, and many feel its controversial opinions are only tolerated due to its proximity to the American east cost.

  • Liberal policies regarding recreational substance use in private coupled with strict policies governing public recreational substance use.
