Oryok was once a colony of Bigtopia until the Great Victorious National-Workers' Revolutionary Uprising For Self-Determination & Independence Against Bigtopian Imperialist Colonialism brought an end to Oryokians living under the chains of Bigtopian tyranny and gave the Oryokian people their first taste in independence and self-determination, the fundamental universal right Oryokian ancestors never got to experience.

From the 1800s to 2004, Dirland was occupied by the Cottonian Empire, before its fall.

Last year, Dirland held a vote for the neighbouring Cottonian Republic's municipalités to be incorporated into Dirland, and 3 of them voted to be. Though, as far as non-municipal colonies, there are a few inhabited islands around Dirland not officially claimed by any nation but de facto under Dirlandic sovereignty.

The lands that now constitute the Crowned Republic was once colonized by refugees from Sumatra after the last Srivijayan revolts were crushed by the Majapahits. In present day, their descendants form the largest ethnic group in the country and is formally known as Samuderan Malays, or in their own name 'Beruns'.

During the Unification Period, the Crowned Republic was involved in wars with its various neighbours that resulted in the country's subjugation of the entire Samuderan peninsula and surrounding islands, encompassing the formerly independent lands of Minangkabau, Javanese, and indigenous communities. These lands today form the metropolitan part of Samudera Darussalam.

The remaining colony of Samudera Darussalam, Labuan and Cempaka is formed when settlers from the Kingdom of Samudera began to colonize the 'no-man' lands behind the Bukit Selatan Mountains, where the country's influence was far limited. With the presence of physical barrier, the colonies began to develop a rather distinctive identity from the rest of the kingdom, particularly after the assimilation of Acehnese immigrants in the colony of Cempaka at the 18th century. With rising nationalism in the colonies and internal reforms in the Samuderan government at the 19th century, the colonies of Labuan and Cempaka were jointly governed as a single entity and was given considerable self-rule as a constituent country of the Crowned Republic.

Well yes we do have colonies kind of we pretty much had the land run is every direction but not only was this their land for farming if you could stick down your claim it could be possibly the easiest way to become a noble not a high ranking noble and sometimes we have nobles ruling over a county that only consists of their family farm, and who's only residents are the workers. So yeah but not in the traditional sense.
