Your nation's battle cries

Battle cries are a military tradition which extends into prehistory, and is kept alive by the patriotic and enthusiastic warriors of modern nations and armies. They are need not articulate, and often tell the enemy little more than "we're here! We're coming to get you!"

So what are the cries sounded by your troops? Generic ones, ones which belong to specific branches and units.

Army:
"For the red and gold!"
"Uraaaaaa!"
"For land and liberty!" (Used by 20th Kalaine regiment, "the libertarians")
"We belong to Crysuko!"

Air Force:
"Angels against demons!"
"Red skies!"
"Lightning, strike!" (Specific to planes with hypersonic capability)

Naval forces:
"Bring the red tide!"
"Drag them down'" (specific to submarine service)
"There is nowhere to hide!" (Specific to naval aviation)

"Vive le Québec Libre!" Originally pronounced by Charles De Gaule in his famous Montréal speech. (Long Live Free Quebec!)
"Pour le Fleurdelisé!" (For the Lily-Flowered!)
"Mon Pays, c'est l'hiver!" Specific of the 182nd Artic Brigade. (My country is winter!)
"NOUS VOILÀ!" (HERE WE ARE!)

Navy:
"Vous dormirez avec les morues ce soir." (You will sleep with the cods this night.)
"Toucher, couler, recommencer." (Hit, sink, repeat.)
"Sous les vagues, nous vaincrons." Specific for submarine forces. (Under the waves, we shall win.)

Airforce:
"Nous sommes les aigles." (We are the eagles.)

There are no traditional battle cries throughout Faceless military. Screeching, war dances, vulgar sign language, and blasting loud music onto the battlefield are common, however.

The Cossacks Armed Forces tend to use the local motto: Signatu areinvi!, which essentially means Reborn and Onwards, something along the lines of that. Otherwise, we like to confuse our enemies by throwing sonic devices to blast loud non-Western rock music written in Cossack.

The most widely used battle cry is "Allahu Akbar". "Earth in our hands, Heaven in our hearts" is also quite popular, especially among the non-Muslim soldiers and is usually uttered either in Indonesian, Chinese, or the soldier's mother tongue. Some organization-specific battle cries exist, including:

"When all hope seems lost
A ray of hope shines through the clouds

Chasing away all the darkness

"Cosmic Tiger!"
"Cosmic Dragon!"
"Cosmic Phoneix!"

This is usually uttered in either Chinese or Indonesian and while taking dramatic poses.

"Just Queen be with us" ("Ratu Adil bersama kita")

This refers to the highest person in their command, Heavenly Empress Park Jin Ae.

"Spare blue and silver" ("Sisakan perak dan biru")

This refers to the battalion's unique blue-silver colour scheme, as opposed to the red-gold one used by most other Imperial Guard battalions. This slogan means that they will kill all hostiles and have no casualties. It is spoken in either Indonesian or Korean.

"Sisters, Assemble!"

Spoken before starting a mission, briefing, or doing a team technique.

"May our actions be swift and our victory total" is a classical Aziphan battle cry - though it is generally recited privately before a battle begins, rather than while in direct conflict with the enemy - that has found a small amount of usage in the VCMR.

Any fleet commander or spacecraft weapons officer worth their salt, though, knows that the real motivational words, as combat begins and the two fleets begin throwing firepower at one another, are just the opening rounds of targeting orders; many fleets report that their officers and bridge crew erupt into cheers when told to open fire. A typical order ends with "All groups - alpha now," at which point much of the fleet is thoroughly pumped for action beyond any sort of conventional battle cry's ability.

Within the Zhouranese People's Army, there are no standard battle cries. Instead, within each of the service branch, each units have their own battle cries. For example, a storm grenadier division in the Ground Force might have the battle cry "Indomitable Majiazhu Warriors, Forward Unto Victory, Not One Step Back!", or a fighter aviation division in the Air Force with the battle cry "Towards The Open Sky, Thunderous Zulibutas, Unyielding Messengers Of Death!", or a combat naval group in the Navy with the battle cry "Sail Forward And Give Them Hell Like A Raging Tsunami!". For a unit, their battle cry could also be their motto and can appear on their insignia and emblem as well as on their military field banner and ceremonial military banner.

Fatatatutians tend to be laid-back and thoughtful when going into battle. They are less likely to yell than to say something like, "It's a good day to die." There is also an ancient warrior chant:

"Long have I wooed Dame Fortune of the warpath.
Behold, this day our tryst is at hand."

But there are exceptions. The MacGregor Highlanders have, "Up the MacGregors!" which is also the name of their marching song. And the Air Cavalry Brigade has, "Air Cav!" Air Cavalry platoon leaders will tell their troopers to, "Mount up!" when boarding their helicopters. (Hispanic officers, such as Fernando Cruz, often translate that to, "¡Arriba, muchachos!")

Nachfolgia's most popular and widely used battle cry goes as follows:

CO- " Loyalty to the end!!"

Soldiers- " We give our lives to Nachfolgia!!!"

Another popular one is " Iron and Blood!!" which is mostly used by Waffen-SS.

[The Galactic Liberal Democracy]

“We charge forward for democracy!” or “For the democracy!” is the most common battle cry, used in all branches. “Yub nub!” is an Ewok war cry, which is more used among insurgents trained by the government. It means freedom in galactic basic. “Find, fix, finish!” is sort of a motto used by ARC troopers, but it is said in the same places that a cry would be uttered.
