Easy to bypass.

When we decide to attack you, we'll do it around breakfast.

Guess you dont know what is connection between the Defense satellite and my ready to lunch nuke....... If any nation's army is seen to be moving towards Great Nepal, the nuclear system gets activated, and it starts to lunch nuclear weapons continuously (until operator stops it) towards the country who dared to invade Great Nepal.

If an invasion fleet approaches us, it will be intercepted far out to sea and troopships warships will be destroyed. If any manage to reach our beaches, we have thousands of torpedo boats and missile boats to deal with them.

Our cities are protected by armoured divisions and our light and heavy infantry will harass any attempted movement on our territory.

Even if we are overrun, we have millions of guerrilla-trained militiamen who will hide in the hills and make life extremely unpleasant for any occupation force, forever.

In summary, it would be hardly worth the effort for anybody to attack us. You'll be farther ahead by asking politely for whatever you want and negotiating a fair price.

Naval patrols by small, fast ships, with a large fleet to react to threats, backed up by the most civilised army known to man.
Welcome to 1938.

I thought ten thousand swords must have leaped from their scabbards to avenge even a look that threatened her with insult. But the age of chivalry is gone. That of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded; and the glory of Europe is extinguished for ever.

De Baca's initial defenses begin with the State Department's highly trained corps of diplomats and ambassadors, whose job include obligation unto De Baca and her people to help prevent conflict.

Failing that, we have a small but modern Navy, which includes missile-armed surface warships, and submarines.

Upon the land, we have a small (for our size), but well equipped Army, and a capable Air Force.

De Baca's intelligence agencies are also quite skillful, and while we don't claim they have spies in every capital, which would be total crap, it is the Republic's national policy to be as secretive about them as possible.

Bunkers, patrols, and intelligence are all well and good, Valkern certainly has its share of these. But what happens when the enemy simply bombards your country with WMDs? The soldiers in their bunkers will find themselves trapped between a hostile army in front of them, and a radioactive wasteland behind them. The true test of a nation's defenses is how they respond to enemy superweapons, in addition to conventional attacks.

Our scientists work around the clock to develop new secret weapons and WMD countermeasures. One of the projects we are working on
(I may as well tell you, since your spies are going to find out about it anyway) is weapon that hacks a guided missile's navigation system. The idea is that missiles with a pre-programmed target use a series of coordinates to get from launch point to target. If program/virus can hack the guidence system, it can reverse the coordinates so that the enemy's own missile returns to the place it was launched, and blows it up. So far, we have succeeded in developing a device that can do this to a guided missile, however doing it to a missile while it is moving continues to be a problem.

The fact that such guidance is usually a hardwired self-contained and isolated integrated component, and not liable to a software-glitch unless you plugged into the iterface and manually pressed the rest-button on the launch-pad, would make things even more difficult.

Most of Niravon's focus is in defensive capabilities. 2/3rds of our military force is trained for homeland defense and the 1/3rd left over are mostly reserves as Niravon rarely sees any reason to invade another Nation, as we already have a whole region to ourselves.

Rail Technology:
We have developed Rail Technology, which uses magnets to propel objects of mostly metal substance at enough force to pierce an armored tank, and that's just in our Rail Rifles. The Rail Cannons can prove to be much more devastating.

'Airborne' Weapons:
Gas masks are standard issue in Niravon Military, as we employ heavy use of not only Chemical Weapons, but also airborne viruses. Thus, giving us a simple way to fight wars without risking the lives of our soldiers too much.

Apocalypse Tanks:
Triple barreled Rail Cannons mounted on tank chassis. The Apocalypse Tanks are also armed with four side piston anti-infantry chain guns, or anti-tank missile launchers. These tanks are large enough to house a fully operational navigational system, a laser guided targeting system and a five man crew.

Armageddon Walkers:
Massive robotic platforms the size of three story buildings. Normally armed with a bottom mounted Rail Cannon, top mounted Anti-Aircraft missile pod and side piston mounted anti-infantry chainguns. They are designed to fight within any terrain and using jump pack technology they can move over tall obstacles easily.

'Big Bob':
At the center of our Nation is Big Bob, the most glorious of all of our nation's achievements. A massive Rail Cannon that can wipe out whole sections of enemy troops with ease. The Big Bob Rail Cannon can only be armed by High Lord Alcar Makaris, the current military commander. This is a last resort option.

Armored Legions:
Another pride of Niravon is our Armored Legions, 100 legions made up of 1000 tanks each. These legions are piloted by our most skilled and elite tank pilots. Each tank is mounted with a miniature Rail Cannon and an array of side piston mounted weaponry ranging from Chainguns to several conjoined Rail Rifles.

The only flaw in our defenses is the almost complete lack in Anti-Air weaponry.

Wolohanistan maintains a Maginot-line-esque the length and breadth of our nation. Border cannons from the 1930's can be found alongside modern SAM launchers. Our blighted land itself also protects us. To the north is the great tundra, further south begins a ring of mountains that encircles the Central Steppe. The steppe itself can range from desert like conditions (Think cold desert, like some of the gobi) to the ash wastes further south. If an enemy managed to surpass this, they would still have to face the bulk of the Wolohanistani armed forces.

The Imerian continent is mostly protected by the tundra in the north, the central mountain range and the southern lowland forests that are manned by the armed forces of the federation as her guardians! the rest of the federation is defended by delaying tactics in the attacked realm while the rest of the federation launches an overwhelming counter attack that as a storm sweep away the enemy before our might!

Our main defence is SOL Mk VII (Strategic Orbital Laser Mark Seven), an orbital weapon platform which fires an intense focused beam of light at a target, heating it to in excess of 1,000,000,000°C in a fraction of a second. The size of the target area is adjustable, from the size of a car to the size of a military base. The weapon was designed as a countermeasure to nuclear weapons; SOL would target the launch silos with a focused or wide beam, depending on the number of silos. SOL can also be used in the event of an invasion by an aggressor, as it can target key government and communications facilities in enemy territory.

Because my nation is still a fledgling nation with a 1% tax rate, our national defenses consist of a 6 inch deep ditch with tacks in it that runs around the border. (and even that cut into our defense budget for next year) If you're going to invade, please come barefoot.
