King Edward I, when told of this, laughed for about 3 minutes. He was then told that it wasn't a joke, and his smile slowly turned into a look of both sadness and anger. He then said this:

Rarely do I meddle with or comment publicly on American political affairs, but these last two years have proven difficult.

America has always been a staunch example of Democracy in a Republic/Federalist way. It has set examples for other nations in it's 3-branch format, serving as a check and balance. Although our two governments are not the same in ideology, as Mascovia is a Semi-Absolute Monarchy and that we support monarchical governing, we believe in the power of the people and in a balance of power, so to speak.

Therefore, for President Trump to make this Presidential Decree, naming HIMSELF "King" is absurd. What must the U.S. Congress think of this? What must the people, especially his supporters who are conservative republican-minded individuals, think of this? Is the existing and iconic U.S. Constitution null and void? So many questions, yet I tell myself that none other would do this, but Mr. Trump -a pompous, self-centered.... America is doomed. America is forever fu. America is no longer the ic. Good luck, America. I am without words.

OOC: To clarify, there is always the situation in which the older children may have relinquished their claim the throne, either on their own accord, legal issues, or by fault of the monarch himself/herself
  • NS Stats are not used
  • Soleanna's name was derived from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006, although not much else is relative to the game, besides symbolic tributes.
