Tongans: There is actually a large populace of Tongan Pacific Islanders that immigrated since the 1980s from Fiji and Tonga.

Hindustanis: Some south Asians have immigrated since the 1990s but have not yet established a large populace.

Dagnia was settled in year 1 Dagnian Era (2983 CE) by an Objectivist group mostly from the East Slavic Federation and and the Visegrad Consortium. Originally it was intended to be a Galt's Gulch in space and multi-ethnic, encouraging many people from every ethnicity to come and enjoy an unbridled capitalist society. A universal language was proposed, but abandoned. Since most people spoke only Slavic languages that were difficult for non-Slavs to learn, only other Slavs and the occasional Hungarian immigrated. Over time, the original ideals were lost and Dagnia became a Slavic ethnostate rarely welcoming to anyone else, though allowing Hungarians and some other Finno-Ugric peoples to come and many people embrace outright socialism. Immigration from most parts of the galaxy or Earth is extremely restricted.

We originally came from the Vannish peninsula. Modern day Vandario. There was a great Exodus from the region when a large conquest had occurred there. Some went west across the sea to the islands, others east over the mountains, ours went south across the water onto the mainland. We expelled and assimilated the previous inhabitants from Central area of the continent and created many kingdoms, most of them no more then citystates, but a few arose above that to become real kingdoms with great power and influence. This is why today Norlisond, a nation now unified all these kingdoms and states our motto is "Northern Sons under Southern Skies" Our culture and language is now rather different from Vandario. Both because they went under great changes at the hands of their conquers culturally and linguistically. But we ourselves have to from mixing with the cultures on the mainland and being separate people's now for 5000-6000 years. We've become our entirely own unique culture and people, but we still remember our old stories, our origins.

Well, us Inklings are an evolved species of squids. We came to be able to walk on land and later gained what we now call our main Inkling form, though we can still change back into squid form, yo. The bad thing about this is that we don't do well in water anymore. With the rising sea levels came the need for land since we couldn't live in the sea anymore.

Octolings had a similar origin, though they were always an oppressed peoples. First dominated by a tyrannical monarch octopus and then racially discriminated against after they gained their freedom.

Other races like the Sea slugs and jellyfish evolved in a similar way but their stories are far less interesting and Jellyfish aint important anyway.

Earth, originally - not our Earth, but one with many similarities.

Faced with overpopulation and climate catastrophe on Earth, a large majority (upwards of 90% of the most advanced nations' populations) of people from the wealthiest nations moved off-world, to vast rotating habitats orbiting out in the solar system. These habitats, while still nominally part of the old nation states of Earth, had effectively combined into a single meta-civilisation; indeed, it is now simply referred to as Civilisation. The rate of expansion grew even further with the discovery of faster-than-light travel and the subsequent expansion of the human frontier. Mysterious planets were discovered in many parts of local space which showed signs of having been terraformed (around 2 million years ago, according to most experts) by an unknown civilisation. These planets had clearly been transformed to be more "Earthlike" and even populated with many species of flora and fauna from Earth. Some other planets even had human or humanlike (where evolution of ancestors to modern humans had taken slightly different evolutionary paths) populations; none were near Earth-human levels of development, but most are just as capable of using and understanding magic and technology as we are once they have been taught how to do so. The governing powers of Civilisation rushed to establish protectorates over all worlds inhabited by these primitive humans, but did not close off access to the others.

Meanwhile, the nations of Earth had emerged from their near-collapse. They had reversed the climate apocalypse with advanced geo-engineering techniques and remedied resource shortages with abundant clean energy and space mining. The population of Earth, made up almost solely of those who had been unable to flee the Earth during the First Expansion, grew. As the population exploded, these nations began colonising the other worlds, which were seen by the relatively poor Terrestrial states as a cheaper, easier alternative to space habitats. A small number (12,000) of individuals from Arcadia moved to Heuti, a terraformed moon orbiting a gas giant (Thera). The colony which they founded (named after its lead financial backer, Charles G. Heuti III) was governed as a territory of the Kingdom of Gallia until its independence in 2380

Terre Septentrionale was colonized by French, Polish, British, Croat, Hungarian, Slovene and Spanish settlers in the 16th century. We also have a small minority of a native people.

Roughly 50% are French septentrionaux, 40% are Polish septentrionaux and 10% comes from the rest.

The first Saamoregians came from a continent on Saamoreg called Riebattu but after centuries started exploring and conquring the rest of the planet.

However, from what we can tell, the ethnicities that make up the Riverlands (where the Argos people settled) originally arrived to the Riverlands a few thousand years ago from the Kiranua Islands to the south, suggesting that ancient Argos might have been a much different culture than it is now.

The earliest known natives of the Hellands were the Ronii of the lands surrounding the River Rhon, the Helsii of the northern coasts and surrounding the River Hels, the Flisii of the east surrounding the Flisian Mountains, and the Connii of what is now known as the Joor Isles and Ramsoo. These tribes were present during the reign of the Dolian Empire in the Classical Era, proving to be a match for the Imperial Army, and continued to fight amongst themselves long after the collapse of that empire. This would go on until the Ronii conquered the Helsii and Flisii, and the Kingdom of Rhonia was formed, establishing the first ever stable government over the greater part of the region.

In the Early Medieval Era, these lands were conquered by the Lankish Empire, and as a result much of their native tongues died out and were replaced by the Lankish language. After the Empire began to decline and split in two, West Lankia entered into a war with the Kingdom of Andalon (an island across the Tovid Sea), which it lost. The Hellands (as they had began to be called, after the prominent state of Helsa) fell under control of Andalon, and the language and culture of the country became influenced by that, valuing mercantilism over nobility. However the isles off the northern coast were easily conquered by the Kingdom of Swenmark, and Andalonian supremacy started to decline. Because neither Swennish nor Andalonian states could push eachother out of their respective footholds in the Hellands, the two parts of the region developed separately.

Eventually, Andalon lost its Helsh holdings to the island Kingdom of Adalmy (across the Melassian Sea), and the region became influenced by Lankic culture and language yet again. The northern Isles and Ramsey (what is now called Ramsoo) continued to be governed by Swenmark. When mainland Swenmark was conquered by the Jorgs, the Swennish monarchy moved their seat to Ramsey, and Swennish culture and language completely overtook what was left of the Connii.

As mercantilism rose in the Hellands, Adalmy lost its grip and the Swennish monarchy was abolished when the last king was killed. Both the Isles and the mainland Hellands joined the Wessian League, and saw themselves influenced by Barvic nations (such as Wessia, Hanzia, and Starbia). Ramsoo (as it had come to be known) became of the League shortly before its disbandment, and the rest of the Hellands soon followed, seeing a period of independent cultures for a time. This was eventually ended by the invasion of the Kingdom of Vallaine, but this influence was quickly stopped. It was not until the very early 1900s that Ramsoo and the Isles joined with the mainland, and their related cultures began to more clearly integrate.

Today, the Hellands remain an incredibly diverse melting pot of cultures, the east still heavily influenced by Barvic nations, the west by Lankic, and Ramsoo and the Isles being the most distinct with their Swennic heritage. The nation is seen as truly the meeting point and child of all three cultures and remains an important cultural region.
