Famous for European architecture, EDM, nightclubs, civil liberties, job opportunities, and trade fairs.

(To get a general theme-idea, Lescaarch culture is a combination of Dutch, Italian, Belgian, Monégasque, and French cultures.)

it has one underlying fatal assumption and that is the desirability of conquest and ownership.

we have a small nation that chooses to remain small, while actively participating in a planet that has joined a pre-existing and diverse galatic civilization.
we have the technologies, but equally the incentive to be very mindful in how we choose and use them in relationship to our natural environment.

and galactic civilization is only able to exist by not being conquest minded, because even a salvage operator can destroy a world.
and so galatic civilization has to take great care, of how developed worlds become, depending on their attatudes toward the integral mutual consideration of each other's quality of existence. it would be too easy for everyone to just destroy each other otherwise, and the very existence of galactic civilization is witness to the fact the it can, with the prioriteas of universal and mutual consideration rather then those of conquest.

we were born after the ecopocalypse of our own world, and learned well its leassons and to avoid repeating them.
