English is the official language of Corunia, a co-official language of Mironor, and the lingua franca of Corunia and Mironor. Mironorese is the primary official language of Mironor, and is a North Germanic language similar to Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish. Mironorese was deposited in Mironor by viking raiders despite its distance from Scandinavia

Rwizikuru's sole official language is the weRwizi language, a Bantu language. It has many dialects, but the standard variety (which is the only official one used in media, education, etc) is based off the upper-class dialect in Port Fitzhubert.

The first official language, and the native language of the majority of the population at 60.04%, is Wenja, a unique Indo-European language native to Oros. It is officially only written in the Latin alphabet since 1995, but can often be found in unofficial contexts written in a variant of the Cyrillic alphabet. Wenja is spoken both by the eponymous Wenja ethnic group, and by the Udam, who are sometimes known as the Highland Wenja or Red Wenja.

The second official language, spoken natively by 35.11% of the population, especially along the densely populated Irtysh region, is Izila, also a uniquely Ursian Indo-European language. It is written with the Latin alphabet officially, and generally is not encountered in Cyrillic form. Historically, a Brahmic script was also used.

Although not an official language, Russian is used widely for inter-ethnic communication, business, and administration, as the two official languages are often found to be lacking in sufficiently exact vocabulary for these purposes.

Кони сказали: послушай, овца, наше сердце печалится, потому что мы знаем: человек — господин, делает шерсть овцы теплой одеждой для себя и у овец нет шерсти. Услышав это, овца повернула в поле.

Vaukiai's official language is Vaukiaian. It is also the only language that recognizes. Vaukiaian language is similar to the real-life Lithuanian language in many aspects, most notably in phonology, although some words may be difficult to understand even for Lithuanians. Lithuanians form around 0.7 percent of the population of Vaukiai.

Vaukiaians are known for being very distrustful towards foreigners, and having a mother tongue other than Vaukiaian may be object of social rejection, too. Vaukiaians feel particularly uncomfortable towards Ashkenazi jews, because of their long history of empowerment and cultural appropriation of the Vaukiaian politics, society and customs in the 19th and 20th centuries. The use of Yiddish language was banned in 1883, and remains banned today. Ever since the Vaukiaian law has persecuted the Ashkenazis, it has tried to remove any signs of its influence in Vaukiaian culture, society, art, cuisine and traditions.

As a result of the nativist policies, Vaukiai nowadays has high levels of homogeneity and almost everyone is of Vaukiaian ethnicity, speaks Vaukiaian as mother tongue and practices Catholicism.

The Radiatian Federation is a multilingual, multi-ethnic federation.

Radiatian is the official language on a federal level and by law all Radiatians (and naturalised immigrants) must be able to read, write and converse in Radiatian.

Radiatian is considered a Germanic language, with some Slavic and Japonic influences. It uses the Roman alphabet (albeit with some differences to English) and in at least half of Radiatian states is the only spoken language. There are also slight accent/dialectic differences with the Xerconia dialect (considered a slightly simpler dialect, akin to American English) being the one used in all official communication, while the more complex Radian dialect (equivalent of Received Pronunciation in English) is considered "most traditional".

A brief guide to the language can be found here.

Several states however have co-official languages at state (or even local) level, due to ethnic or historical differences between those states and the rest of the Federation. There are also a large number of unofficial, or undocumented languages spoken predominantly by nomadic tribes in the far north or other remote and uncivilised parts of the country.

10 languages other than Radiatian are officially recognised as being co-official in several states. The state of Alayenia (Radiatia's most populous state) is unique in having three official languages delineated by region, with the traditional language of Aliyan spoken in Northern Alayenia, Radiatian only spoken in Southern Alayenia and English in Central Alayenia (i.e. Exegrad, Radiatia's largest city.)

Image

Chiridian is a commonly spoken language in the eastern states, with the language being close to that of the ancient Chiridian Empire which existed in the area over 2000 years ago. It is usually classified as a Turkic language.

English is common in the western states, due to these states having once been ArghNeedANamic outposts that were later absorbed into Radiatia and colonised by Radiatians as the nation expanded west. English is also spoken in Exegrad, Alayenia - the nation's biggest city. This is due to Exegrad having once been a Special Economic Zone in the communist era, as well as due to English being the international language of business and Exegrad being a city focused massively on international business.

Vashuran is spoken in several central states due to those areas having been in ancient times colonised by people from the island of Vashura. Over the centuries the language has developed and changed, with the Radiatian dialect of Vashuran now considered no longer intelligible by speakers of traditional Vashuran (much akin to the difference between modern English and Anglo-Saxon.) The language is also spoken widely in the state of Vatfer, especially western Vatfer but is not considered an official language in that state.

Drachenese is widely spoken in northwestern Radiatia, in the areas that were once part of the Kingdom of Drachensgard (which was conquered by Radiatia during the communist era and absorbed into the RPSU, with these states remaining Radiatian after the collapse of communism.) Drachenese is a Nordic language, similar to most Scandinavian languages but also containing clear Celtic influences. Drachenese does not use the Latin Alphabet - it is still written using Runes.

Elduran is unique to the island state of Eldura, which became part of Radiatia following the Arctic War of 4015. It is usually considered a Uralic language, which bears some similarities to Drachenese but very few with Radiatian.

Narasian is a Slavic language unique to the state of Naras. Historically the Narasians and Radians have been warring neighbours, and it's generally considered that Narasian has influenced the Radiatian language.

Numongolic is a Turkic language unique to the state of Numongolis. The language is considered very similar to Chiridian, however unlike Chiridian it does not use the Roman alphabet.

Aliyan is a Germanic language unique to the state of Alayenia, although mostly spoken in northern Alayenia. Today it is considered almost mutually intelligible with the Radian dialect of Radiatian due to years of cross-pollination between the two languages, although its vocabulary differs due to the absense of Slavic and Japonic influences.

Chongkao is sometimes considered a Japonic language and sometimes even considered Sino-Tibetan. It is unique to the state of Chongluntz and while it features some Germanic and even Turkic influences due to contact with Chiridians and Radiatians, the language is considered fairly similar to Tuthinan, with theories suggesting that in ancient times the people of Chongluntz originated in Tuthina.

Norfian is a Germanic language unique to the state of Norfus, but also spoken in Clode and even in Chauch.

The people in the diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch speak Middle Dutch. The language has been written since about 1150 and its ancestor language is Old Dutch. It is not a single homogeneous language; several dialects exist and there is no institute that regulates spelling and grammar. That means that the way words are spelled can differ from writer to writer and sometimes even within one manuscript, different variants are used. The Brabantian dialect is very common in the diocese. Rhinelandic, Hollandic and Flemish dialects are spoken more often along the borders of the diocese. The language is written in the Latin alphabet.

It is really necessary to speak Middle Dutch when visiting the diocese of 's-Hertogenbosch as most people don't learn foreign languages. Some of them will have learnt to speak German. It is very uncommon to encounter an inhabitant of 's-Hertogenbosch who speaks English.

The most-spoken language of the Principality is Courean, which is a relatively broad term used to describe several languages as one, as to promote national unity. On one end, a Courean speaker would only know and use indigenous words in day-to-day conversation, whereas on the other end, the language could be more akin to a native-Basque-Dutch-English creole. A dialect in between these two extremes is the official language of state and is what is taught in schools.

As one could guess, Basque is another language spoken in the country, though only about 15% of those polled are found to speak it natively nowadays; again, many Basque speakers are classified (or self-identified) as speakers of Courean.

The next major language of the islands is Javanese, which about 10% of the population speaks as a native language. Though some loanwords have made their way into the vernacular, the Javanese of Couray most definitely speak the same language as the Javanese of the rest of the Malay archipelago.

Finally, Brighamite English: only about 7% of the population speaks it natively, though it remains a liturgical language among the deeply religious Latter Day Saint minority, which makes up around 19% of the population. Interestingly, the accent of this group has been largely preserved since the migration from 19th- and 20th-century America.

There are several American English dialects spoken in the Commonwealth, most famously the Boston accent, which is native to the northeastern coastal regions of New England. The most identifiable features of the Boston accent are believed to have originated from England's Received Pronunciation, which shares features such as the broad A and dropping the final R. Another source was 17th century speech in East Anglia and Lincolnshire, where many of the Puritan immigrants had originated. The East Anglian "whine" developed into the Yankee "twang". Boston accents were most strongly associated at one point with the so-called "Eastern Establishment" and Boston's upper class, although today the accent is predominantly associated with blue-collar natives, as exemplified by movies such as Good Will Hunting and The Departed. The Boston accent and those accents closely related to it cover eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Some Rhode Islanders speak with a non-rhotic accent that many compare to a "Brooklyn" accent or a cross between a New York and Boston accent, where "water" becomes "wata". Many Rhode Islanders distinguish the aw sound [ɔː], as one might hear in New Jersey; e.g., the word "coffee" is pronounced /ˈkɔːfi/ KAW-fee. This type of accent was brought to the region by early settlers from eastern England in the Puritan migration in the mid-seventeenth century.

An example if the weird accent is the word "Orange"

In America you pronounce it as "O ran ge"

But in Jodilee you pronounce it "O rain ge"

Even though the Commonwealth of Arcadia lacks the official language, the nation-wide prevalence of Arcadian English is apparent. The Arcadian English is virtually indistinguishable from the RL-American English, containing a major portion of loanwords from Algonquian languages (like raccoon, moose, skunk and so on) and a relatively increased share of loanwords with Greek and Latin origin.
Some states may adopt a secondary language (French, Spanish, Cherokee, Mohawk and Cree languages are the case). Quebecois, however, are not content with 'privileged' position of the English and demand the nation-wide propagation and adoption of the French language. Such a measure, however, would make a precedent which would force the federal government to adopt every secondary language at the federal level, which would be prohibitively expensive, especially with the vast expanse of our nation kept in mind.
