The Imperial Territories of Ramsetia utilise three or four different 'sniper' weapons.
Firstly, the 'Dynabow' ATR-02-G2 Bolt-action anti-tank rifle. Firing a .566 AP/HE Anti-Tank round, it is designed to provide anti-tank firepower at pinpoint accuracy. Featuring a bullpup layout and ambidextrous design for the cartridge ejector, it is considered unwieldly for use on the move The recoil is immense due to the rigid barrel, but a gas expulsion recoil dampener system helps to limit the amount felt by the shooter.
secondly, the 'Longbow' SR-09-G4 double-action revolver-style sniper in .367 steyr. A four-round revolver wheel mounted in a kevlar and titanium frame. Again, a rigid barrel by necessity, with a recoil compensator at the muzzle end which resembles a 'baby howitzer', according to sniper teams. the round is the theoretical largest that a weapon of the Longbow's weight can fire without becoming uncontrollable, and the weapon provides reliable long-range interdiction and support against opponents.
the 'Assain's bow' SR(s)-09-G3. A silenced Longbow rifle intended for assasination work. The mechanism and barrel are identical to the standard Longbow, though the body of the weapon is capable of being collapsed down for easier concealment and transportation. Firing the same .367 steyr round, and utilising the revolver style magazine to remove the nessecity of retrieving casings.
All three of these weapons sport Picatinny rails for mounting of scopes, and come standard with iron sights featuring a 'bunny ears' front sight, and a peg rear sight intended for long-range shooting. Only the Longbow, in the G1 wooden furniature is available for civilian purchase, while G4 longbows are sold to military and mercinary forces.
