The Bishop holds significant moral authority, and he is chosen by the Holy Synod like in every other Orthodox country.

But politically, most things are governed through councils and assemblies, so there's not really a need for a centralized leadership.

The King or Queen is succeeded by his or her eldest child, regardless of sex, so long as they are a legitimate descendant of Felipe I. Should the King or Queen not have a legitimate heir, the Great Council will convene and designate a successor; this provision had more relevance when the succession laws of the House of Küxal-Kofi were based in agnatic primogeniture, but this is less likely to occur with the adoption of male-preference and more recently equal primogeniture.

The President of the United Realms, who is head of government, is nominated by direct popular vote and formally appointed by the King (or Queen) of the United Realms. Should there be an unclear victor, the King or Queen will call for new elections.

The president of LOBZAN is chosen by popular vote from a pool of candidates selected by their political parties, which have seats in our nation-wide Supreme National Assembly. The amount of presidential candidates is relative to the amount of seats held in the SNA and so aren't limited to just one. The parties, however, do hold preliminaries, with the most popular candidates being allowed to run for that office in the end. Independents may also run but tend to be less successful than partisan candidates.

The President is elected every 7 years by a vote in Parliament. The Prime Minister is usually the leader of the largest party in Parliament, and is formally appointed by the President following a general election, which must happen at least once every three years.

The leader in Duotona is chosen in an election that occurs every four years. It works in tandem with the representative election. With Duotona having a parliamentary system, 2 representatives per party run for every state. If they get a 2/3 majority, they get both seats, but if not, they share the seats with the second place party.

The head of state is then chosen based on which party got the most seats, and is usually the party's leader.

The Huron Leaguean Congress is chosen via a system of ranked choice elections every May 15th in every other even numbered year. There are typically 5 parties with a chance of holding more than 10 congressional seats, the Socialist Green Party (40%), Worker’s Communist Party (21%), United Center (10%), United Left (15%), and the Northern Union Party (10%), with the remaining 4% other various regional and right-leaning parties. The nation’s leader is chosen the same way, and the same parties have similar chances. For each level of ranked choice the nominee advances through, someone qualified in their party is appointed a higher ministerial position in government, (I.e Transportation or Environment), except for the last two candidates, the winner of which is appointed president and the second place person is either approved as Vice President by Congress or disapproved and a new member is nominated by the President, and the same process repeats once. If the second is disapproved of as well, the Congress must vote on which to approve.
