The crown is transferred to the designated heir (chosen by the previous holder as a younger member of the house of Randul who they feel is the best fit to rule)

The Prime Minister, the head of gov't is chosen in a national election. People can rack up multiple votes throughout their lives depending on their actions. Every citizen earns one at 20 and an additional one every 10 years to the age of 60. They can also get them by volunteering for military service after exiting the conscription period, gov't recognized volunteer work, consistent law abiding behavior, ect. Votes can be split however you want whether that be all over the ballot or all in on one party

Big MT secretly has you and several others currently in their sights, in case the Ederik dies or is mentally incapable. They'll eventually move on if the Ederik lasts another decade, they want someone young and reasonably malleable.

The Ederik suddenly dies, now they're deciding on whether to pick you or one of the others they have been eyeing.
They chose you.
You undergo indoctrination, which is pretty much attaining a degree in the Strazhnist school of thought, so as to preserve the Tsarusian way in a manner that is effective.

After a few years, in which Big MT pretty much rules the nation, you are put into power. You therefore become the most powerful man in the world. More powerful than Putin, more powerful than Xi Jinping, Donald Trump, more powerful than anyone. It is written in the Strazhnist Doctrine that the Ederik can do anything he wants, and he remains in power till his mental state proves inadequate.

However, you run the risk of being tossed out of power by the Tsarusian Military, as well as many paramilitary groups, should you disappoint the nation. It's fairly easy to avoid being forcibly removed or killed, just follow the Strazhnist way of life.
It's not like you're ever going against this way of life, after all Big MT chose you specifically because you were what they wanted. A military man, an ascetic one, one with unbreakable integrity and unstoppable willpower. A powerful man now in a powerful position. Good luck.

The President of the Republic is elected by popular vote for a six year term. There is no official term limit, but by convention no President has served more than two terms. Although they are the head of state, the President has little real power, acting mostly as a figurehead, and usually only exercising their influence on the advice of the Prime Minister.

Following a parliamentary election, the National Assembly votes on members of the new cabinet (officially called the Executive Council). The head of the Council (generally called the Prime Minister) is sworn in by the President once the cabinet has been approved. The Prime Minister is officially considered to be 'first among equals', with the cabinet as a whole exercising executive power. Any replacement or addition to the cabinet made by the Prime Minister after taking power must also be approved by the National Assembly. There is no term limit for Prime Ministers; they can remain in power as long as they command the confidence of the House.

Originally, the oldest political party in my nation supports democracy. But since there was a foreign occupation and the eventual socialist rise to power and a civil war. We now favored a one party state to prevent any oppositions from getting things worse.

In our nation, the leader is given President for life. If the head of state is unable to rule/resigns, the government council will decide the best fit to rule the nation. There's no voting in the country but citizens can support a nominee. If the head of state dies, the VP takes over.

Grand Master of the Order of the Sovereign Heavens
When the Grand Master dies, is deemed incapable of rule, or abdicates his position, then a council of regents (as selected by the previous Grand Master) is given temporary control of the Order, mainly to pursue any time-reliant matters, but also to call an urgent meeting of the Order's leadership. In the meeting, the leadership select a 16-member electoral college, comprised of five knights, five priests, five laymen (mainly including the medical arm of the Order) and the current Justice of the Estates. They are given a week to put names forward, of which all members of the electoral college must be appraised, but the names are kept a closely-guarded secret from the outside world to ensure no outside pressure may be exerted on the electoral college.

After the week period has elapsed, an initial round of voting is undertaken, whereby every member of the electoral college has three equal votes to allocate to any candidate they see fit. If after this initial vote, any candidate has more than 80% of the vote share, then they are automatically selected. If not, then the election runs off into a second, individual round.

In this second round, from first-place to last-place, each candidate is voted for or against individually, from the highest vote in the first round to the lowest. Discussion on each may be undertaken, and each member of the electoral college has one vote. If the candidate gets more than 80% of the vote share in this round, then they are considered elected. If not, then the voting passes onto the next candidate. If all candidates are run through and none receives more than 80% vote share, then the council is given another week to come up with a new batch of candidates. Previous candidates may be put forward again, but no more than five of them may be so, and only if they received more than 50% vote share in their individual voting round.

If after a month (i.e: four voting rounds) no candidate has been picked, then all top five candidates from each round are put into a voting pool, each electoral college member gets three votes, and a simple majority decides the victor. If there are any ties, then the Justice of the Estates must break the tie.

The Triumvirate is selected by direct popular election every six years. To be eligible to run for Triumvir, one must be a citizen of the Federation. Each registered federal political party with at least ten seats in the Assembly may nominate one candidate, and other candidates may be placed on the ballot by petition. Write-ins are not accepted. Every citizen is entitled, but not required, to vote in the election. A secret ballot, single non-transferable vote system is used to determine the winners, with the top three being seated in the Triumvirate for a six-year term.

Each Triumvir is required to maintain an order of succession- which may be public or private- in case they are unwilling or unable to continue their service mid-term. If, however, they are removed from office mid-term there is no codified means of replacing them. This has not actually happened yet, but if it did legal scholars generally agree that the High Court would be put in the position of deciding if and how they should be replaced. What that decision would be, however, there is no consensus.

The country is divided in states, each one having its own leader. Every 6 years (reduced from 8 since the 2018 referendum), each leader can present himself at the presidential elections. 4 of them (among the 18 who present themselves) are selected after the preliminary election. They must each represent a different party. Once the candidates have been selected, voting for national leadership begins, in two rounds.
The first round is based solely on the representatives' previous accomplishements. Everything is based on what they've said and done in the past. After 4 months, if the choice isn't unanimous (it usually is not), then the second round starts.
The second round is based on their promises and projects for the country. This is where the great majority of speeches and meetings are held. After 2 months, the Leader is chosen.

President of Countesia is chosen by popular vote. They possess very little political power, their role is mostly diplomatic.

Prime Minister of Countesia is the leader of the party with the majority of seats in the Federal Parliament. Members of parliament are elected through Instant-runoff voting, more commonly known as Preferential Voting.

After the death of the Marquis, the "Grand Council of Governance" (a consultative body that governs the nation together with the Marquis during his reign, composed of 25 of the most noteworthy scholars of Fiume Orientale) asumes the total leadership of the Marquisate, and has the duty to select a new Marquis from its own members within six months of the death of the Marquis. If the Grand Council fails to reach an agreement, or deliberately does not select a Marquis in six months, the title of Marquis is automatically given to the closest alive relative of the previous Marquis.

The President of Aram is elected by the Motwa (parliament) every 5 years or whenever there is a vacancy. A candidate must win an absolute majority of votes to be elected. If no candidate secures an absolute majority of votes, the candidate with the least votes (or any candidate with less than 10% of the vote) is eliminated and the Motwa votes again on the remaining candidates. This process is repeated until one candidate secures the required majority.

The Prime Minister of Aram is appointed by the President after each parliamentary election. As the prime minister is required to "command the confidence" of the Motwa, he or she is usually the leader of the largest party or coalition of parties. Unlike other parliamentary systems, there is no confirmatory vote held by the legislature to approve (or not) the President's choice. Rather, the government's ability to pass a budget (which is constitutionally required once a year) is considered a de facto confidence vote on the President's choice for prime minister.

The position of Emperor/Empress and Autocrat of Atlantea is succeeded in hereditary succession, following the death, abdication, or being declared incapable to rule without the possibility of recovery on the previous holder of the position. The line of succession follows absolute primogeniture, as established in the Constitution of 1889. All living relatives of the emperor who are related through descent from Emperor Nicomedes I(1823-1885) who have not lost their rights to succession are found on the line of succession, with the children of the emperor as well as their lines of descent being placed at the top. The person on the top of the line of succession is generally granted the title, Crown Prince/Princess of Atlantea and Prince/Princess of the Gedeiras(Note, in the Atlantean language, the words for a ruling prince and a prince of the imperial dignity are different words. The title Prince of the Gedeiras is to be interpreted as to mean the title of a ruling prince). They will ascend to the throne immediately following the death of the Emperor or Empress before them and the line of succession shall be reset to better reflect this.

The Prime Minister of the Empire of Atlantea is appointed by the Emperor following the formation of a new government. This can be at any time, provided the government before it was dissolved, but a new government is generally formed after an election to better represent the results of said election. Prime Minister can technically be anyone who the Emperor wishes to appoint, but nowadays, the Prime Minister is usually selected from one of the Houses of the Assembly or from among the council of state. In the event that a Prime Minister is selected from the Boule, the shall usually be the leader of the majority in it. In the event of them being selected from the Senate or Council of State, which is what usually happens, they shall need a confirmation vote of 2/3rds from both houses of the Assembly. In the event that the assembly is out of session while an Appointment has been made, an Imperial Ordinance shall be published allowing the appointee to take the powers and duties of Prime Minister until a confirmation vote takes place within the year. In the event that the Assembly does not meet for a confirmation vote in a year's time, a new ordinance shall be published in the place of a vote, formally making the appointee Prime Minister. In the event that a confirmation vote fails, it shall be expected that the Emperor appoints someone else to be confirmed.

The President of Raunaia is elected by an electoral-college-like system. Each of the eight provinces of Raunaia is split into three electoral districts, and each province gets three electoral votes. The vote-counters in each district calculate the number of popular votes that each candidate got. The winner in each district gets the district's electoral vote. For example, in Alaramal Province in the 2019 general elections, Faroc Alabbas of the Islamic-Democratic Party won Districts 1 and 2, while Buran Buzaid of the Liberal Republic Party won District 3. Thus, in Alaramal Province, Alabbas won 2 electoral votes, and Buzaid 1 vote. The candidate with the most electoral votes wins the election wins the presidency, and elections occur every three years (candidates may serve up to three terms).
'
The Chancellor is elected by the vote of the unicameral National Delegative Assembly, comprised of 100 members, with several political parties that have representation. Any member of the National Delegative Assembly may announce their candidacy for Chancellor (there is a limit of five candidates per party, so the first five or less candidates of a political party represented in the National Delegative Assembly will be the five candidates the party may vote on). These five or less candidates will be nominated by their party. The candidate with the most votes wins the nomination. The election season for all national elections, including chancellor, begins in August. The nomination should be complete by August 31. Beginning on September 1, the candidates may debate and campaign until October 1, when the election for chancellor is held. The candidate with the most votes wins the chancellorship. If there were to be a tie, the two or three candidates would become the only candidates and a new vote would be held with the tying candidates. The winner of that election would be elected chancellor. If a tie were to happen there, the Speaker of the Assembly would cast the tie-breaking vote. Like the President, the Chancellor may serve up to three terms of three years.

The monarch is elected in a free, fair, and democratic election under an instant-runoff system with three rounds if needed. The pool of candidates consists of descendants of the first monarch who are 18 or older. Candidates may opt-out of they wish.

The Prime Minister is the leader of the political party with the most seats in the House of Congress, though the House of Peers controlled by an opposition party can lead to a deadlock. The amount of seats a party gets is determined by a free, fair, and democratic election under a direct party-list proportional representation system in the House of Congress, the lower house of the bicameral Jesston State Hall, while the seats in the House of Peers, the legislative upper house, are allocated to political parties in an indirect party-list proportional representation system determined by the upper houses of the legislatures of the states.

However, if that is not the case a new leader is chosen from a pool of new top civil servants that all go through the same process.

The President of Katinatorshi, is elected every three years by popular vote. Any candidate may announce their candidacy as long as they are registered with an already-registered political party, are a citizen of Katinatorshi, and have the backing (usually via petition) of at least 10,000 people. The candidates register to appear on a provincial ballot, which then is given to voters at polling places. The voters select their preferred candidate, and the votes are counted. The winner of each of the sixteen provinces gets the province's electoral vote, and the two candidates with the two most electoral votes appear on the second-round ballot, voters pick their preferred choice, and the winner of each province again receives the province's electoral vote. The candidate with the most electoral votes then receives the presidency.

The Minister-President of Katinatorshi is elected by the vote of the unicameral People's National Assembly each three years. Beginning on January 1, any member of the People's National Assembly may announce their candidacy. The political party that the candidate is affiliated with will take a vote, and the candidate with the most party votes will be the official nomination of the party. Independents running for Minister-President do not have to do this. Beginning on February 1st, the candidates may campaign against their opponents in the People's National Assembly, and two organized debates will be held between all the candidates. The People's National Assembly then votes on the candidates on March 15. The candidate with the most vote wins.
