Spiritual warfare is the practice of praying at people to remove unwanted influences such as those from evil spirits or demons.

In the Greater Satanic Leviathan, we practice spiritual warfare against the enemies of Satan, casting maledictions against foreign peoples and using desecration against areas under the influence of God or his angels or prophets.

Members of other religions are restricted from using spiritual warfare. They can be removed from the vicinity by private security, or if they are on public property by police for obstructing traffic.

However in times of war, leaders of each religion must pray for victory and for the lives and health of the troops, the Lugal of the Leviathan, and the Queen.

Spiritual warfare exists in the Amenrian military in the form of divine intervention, God-given powers, and truth-based propaganda. Our righteousness is always being proudly shown in battle, with "Allahu Akbar" being a popular kiai in the military.

Non-Muslim Amenrians also practice spiritual warfare. We have some battle monks who are either Shinto or Buddhist and Christian exorcists who often help with cases regarding vampirism, necromancy, and/or werewolves.

People who engage in such practices, or believe in such things, are usually dragged off to mental institutions where they belong.

Spiritiual Warfare only exists in states with significant Asian communities where there is believed to be evil influences residing within people. In other ethnicities, there is little practiced due to the culture. The person involved in the spiritiual authority would try to hold the person and chant quickly within the recited words while the evil spirit residing in the person would try to resist. The spiritual authority would then suceed and then the person collapses before gaining consciousness.

Although religion is often used in war propaganda, and in army itself, spiritual warfare is not that common.

In Dagnia it can be done in a number of ways, as we are have many faiths. 80% of our population practices a Dagnian form of Rodnovery (Slavic pre-Christian faith), 40% practices Roman Catholicism, 30% practices Eastern (primarily Russian) Orthodoxy, and another 30% practices Buddhism. If you are thinking that means 180% of the population has some form of religion, many people are syncretic and practice multiple faiths simultaneously.
In Rodnovery it is done in ways similar to other pagan faiths, with elaborate ceremonies involving singing, prayers, bells, phallus/wand waving, and fire, in which participants appeal to the gods for help against enemies. Specific enemies may be targeted by burning, stabbing, or ripping a picture, doll, or piece of parchment with the person's name. Christians don't have much beyond mass prayers, and many turn to Rodnovery which is seen as having a more powerful magic. Buddhists generally don't practice any kind of spiritual warfare as Buddhists, however some have borrowed Tibetan and Mongolian practices that may not have ever actually been specified by Buddha.

Spiritual Warfare in Lux Bellorum is heavily regulated, and only performed by licensed and certified exorcists. Exorcists are usually qualified individuals with degrees in both theoretical and applied theology, and have to undergo a strict certification process before being allowed to perform exorcisms.

Some military mages do what you have described as "spiritual warfare", it's basically mind control spells and summoning beasts to fight. However, our universe Geneva Convention tried to put limits on it, however, using magic requires you to be up close with the enemy, facing danger if getting shot at point blank.

Our church has it's own militia organization, and is generally used as a massive prayer machine during times of struggle. We can confirm that at full capacity, they can deliver a whopping 30,000 prayers a minute!

We can raise armies of the undead, bend mortal wills, and alter the world around us with greatly varying degrees of capacity by person.

WE do spiritual warfare much like any other kind of warfare: Directly, and with well-practiced soldiers and weapons. In this case, the soldiers in question are either outfitted with psychically-effective weaponry, or they are naturals at the art and need no manufactured devices. First, we send in the grunts with the devices, which are often enchanted by experts. If they have no or little success, we send in the naturals. If *they* don't win either, we roust up General Carjack the Genocider, our most skilled natural practitioner. He will be very pissed at having whatever game he was playing interrupted, and will vent that rage upon the enemy and usually win. This victory will be quick, mainly because Carjack will want to go back to playing games, and getting rid of a spiritual enemy ASAP will make that happen sooner.

If all else fails, we call upon our Divine Leader Megatron, who is not some nebulous spiritual entity, but an incarnate robot like the rest of us - but with godly powers. He will not only delete a spiritual enemy, but will likely chase that enemy's spirit into the next realm and cause it a millennia of misery in retribution for its nonsense.

Of course, as Decepticons, we are far from dedicating all of our spiritual warfare to "good." Instead, it is dedicated mostly to raw imperialism. We took over all of the afterlives in our universe once Megatron attained godhood - good, bad, and neutral - mostly because they were there and we could. That said, some of our acquisitions have yielded great resources for us. One of the most notable of these is Hell.

We are currently using the Lake of Fire of our universe's Hell as a giant burner for hundreds of huge smelting pits. Since the Lake keeps burning magically without us ever having to fuel it, using it as a megaburner saves Megatron Metals billions of Cubes of Energon per year in energy costs. Portals set up by the Paranormal Division of the Decepticon Military ensure that it is easy for us to take ore there and bring refined metal back. These portals also handle the conversion of materials from physical to spiritual and back, through the use of top-secret magical methods. We have no trouble with any demonic presence in our Hell, since we dealt with them like we do any other species that doesn't instantly bow to our rule: By exterminating them all. Now, Hell is just another 100% Decepticon-controlled industrial area, and a very lucrative one at that.

All of that said, while we enjoy controlling all of the afterlives and many other dimensions and realms, we put most of our effort onto taking over the physical realm, and this is typically done by standard means of warfare (unless we encounter a magic-using planet or people). This realm is home to most advanced lifeforms, and until we take over each and every planet in it, we do not yet have the total domination of the universe that is our ultimate goal.

Here in Novo Vaticanus™, both the government and the people are very aware of such people and nations as yours, who've dedicated themselves to the ruin of souls in the name of satan. Therefore, there are state-funded legions of men and women who are entirely dedicated to, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, praying for any and all souls which wander away from the flock of God, which is the Body of Christ.

We realize that the grip of sin is tight, so we pour money into actively fighting the good fight, which is spiritual fucking jihad against all that is evil, in the name of the Catholic Church and everything that She stands for.
