Fecawn Embassy Exchange

Introduction

The Fecawn government is exceedingly pleased to invite the governments of her fellow sovereign states and various international organizations to dispatch permanent delegations to the Kingdom and establish diplomatic facilities therein. This embassy program has been created after a relaxation of diplomatic immunity laws. The Kingdom of Fecaw is a constitutional monarchy with a non-ceremonial monarch: King Sarol. It has a population of about 12 million, spread over an archipelago of 33 islands. The GDP, as of 2017, is NS$ 81,818m. For more information, consult the ever-growing encyclopedia.

Diplomatic officials may not be personae non grata of Fecaw or be a convicted felon. Diplomatic officials are subject to import laws, which are summarized here in a list of banned imports:

• WMDs
• Psychoactive Substances for non-medical use
• Endangered Species for non-conservational use
• Artillery pieces
• Ballistic missiles
• Heavy Small Arms
• Explosives

Embassies can have a maximum of twenty diplomatic staff and fifteen security staff. Consulates can have a maximum of ten diplomatic staff and seven security staff. Diplomatic are allowed to carry armor and diplomatic licence plates. They shall not carry built-in armaments. Diplomatic security personnel shall not hinder or obstruct the conduct of regular law enforcement.

Locations

Embassies-Sediw
The capital of Fecaw, Sediw, is the largest city and the location of all embassies in Fecaw. It is located located between Lakes Ethe and Naral with a population of 7,139,600. Sediw contains many art museums and government buildings. It is organised in a grid pattern, with North-South streets numbered East to West and East-West streets numbered North to South. That means that E38-716 is 716th building on the 38th East-West street, when counting from the North. All embassies are on this 38th street, which is home to several government departments and just a short walk from downtown Sediw.

Consulates-Sediw
Nations are also welcome to establish a consulate in Sediw. Consulates there are more widely dispersed and tend to be on the outskirts of the capital.

Consulates-Erilia
Erilia is the capital of Caryme Island, home to several museums and a few consulates as well as the Caryme Council. Caryme Island has an area of 13,051 km² and a population of 3,312,500. Caryme has a colder climate than most of Fecaw and has been inhabited since the 2^nd century. Mass immigration from the West during the Industrial Revolution, especially in the 1880s, caused a surge in population.
A consulate here will serve as an outpost in Fecaw's South, home to many immigrant populations.

Dear Minister Sulau,

Thank you for your thread creation of 5 September 2018 allowing for a Parliamentary Confirmation into agreement of embassy exchange between the Kingdom of Fecaw and the Realm of Yohannes. I am also responding on behalf of The Rt Hon First Lord Hilda Von und Zu Hartjenstein and The Hon Minister Emily Kirchweger to whom I report on the matter.

Fecaw and the Nineteen Countries, I believe, share the same values of embassy and consulate partnership, of responsible government, and a history of open diplomacy — three important things to realising a harmonious relationship between two nation states. I have been impressed also by the good manner of the Fecawn people during my visit to the prosperous Caryme Island. It is for that reason that I would like to acknowledge the strength that you have shown, and are showing, in furthering the economic and social well-being of your people. Your governing principles align well with the eighth introductory principle of Economy and Industry of our nation state. That is why I am committed to realising this embassy exchange agreement.

Following the discussion and meeting held by our respective diplomats behind the scene over the last few weeks, I would like to clarify that parliament did finally issue their assent on 15 October 2018, Parliamentary Motions — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary: The Kingdom of Fecaw, which confirmed the letter of credence of Her Excellency Madeleine Fürstenberg in her place as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Realm of Yohannes to the Kingdom of Fecaw. A copy of the Executive Council’s response and parliament’s final assent and report of stipulations in their entirety will be published on the Electoral Debates Hansard website shortly.

As you would have known from our last meeting, I am keen to encourage Yohannesian enterprises to participate in the Fecawn market, and for Fecaw’s thriving enterprises to do likewise in the Nineteen Countries. I believe that new commerce and trade between companies of our respective citizen sectors may offer new opportunities to maintain our respective nations’ growth target for the fiscal year 2018-2019.

I would like to finish by acknowledging the important contribution His Majesty the King Sarol of Fecaw is making to the cause of open diplomacy and the principle of open embassy exchange between members of the international community of nation states and regions. I hope that I will be able to attend the Ambassador Introduction event next week, and I look forward to seeing you then.
