[Geldria]

The Geldrian Confederal Government is pleased to inform you about the meaning of our flag.

The flag of Geldria is essentially a banner of arms, i.e. a square flag bearing the coat of arms of the Geldrian Confederacy, precisely as upon a shield but in a square. The lion was taken from the coat of arms of Guelders, the duchy which was the predecessor state of the Geldrian Confederacy. However, the lion now faces the other way, to symbolise that the people fought for their independence and are now free from foreign powers and are creating their own future. The blue colour was chosen because of the many rivers, which divide Geldria in four Quarters and which have so often threatened it with floodings. At the same time, the rivers provide fish and make the soil fertile. The blue colour also has a religious meaning, standing for joy in the spirit, faith and hope.

Red - Blood of the first prince, Prince Fredrik Weber, who was killed against the Pagans in Hundeland (1533)

Mountain - The mountains of which Felsigberg sits upon

Black Bar - Represents The Great Wall of Tieferfluss, a wall that has protected the city of Tieferfluss for centuries

[The Plantain Republic]

Dark red stripes: The dried blood of all who have crossed us in the past.
Black stripes: The ocean surrounding the island, which is dark, cold, and full of oil also.
Bright red stripes: The fertile soil of the island’s shores.
White stripe: The unconquerable will to live of the nation’s people in the face of adversity.

The red symbolizes our official ideology of democratic socialism.
The eight stars arranged in a circle represent the eight administrative divisions.
The central star represents the central government that unifies and rules over them.

The blue on either side represent the clear coastal waters.
The white in the centre of the flag represents the white sands of Austellus' beaches and deserts.
The six-pointed star in the centre of the centre represents the six provinces of Austellus.

Black represents the passion and freedom of the citizens.
Green represents the hope, determination and bravery of the people.
The stylised fir tree represents the nation's compassion for moving up in the world.

[Forlania]

The flag of Forlania, known affectionately as, "Bem-vindo azul," is entirely representative in it's design.
The red stripes on top & bottom are in honor of the slaves who died during the revolts that led to the modern Forlanian Nation-state.
The green stripes next to those are representative of the life that lives in the Forlanian Islands.
The blue in the middle of the flag is in tribute to the ocean that both surrounds & sustains Forlania.
& Finally the 4 white stars are representative of the 4 major islands of Forlania, Grey, Trew, Peqoud, & Tehat.

[The Arstotzkan Socialist Republic]

The flag of the ASR is a black eagle with a shield on it's chest with a vertical line. It is on top of a red field and below is the
name Arstotzka in Arstotzkan (Russian). The red field represents socialism, the eagle represents power and it's shield means defense.
The word below as stated only means Arstotzka.

The Meaning of Fossa-san's Flag
The meaning of Fossa-san's flag is defined in the Flag Act as:
Black represents the people, White represents peace, Orange represents the land and democracy, gray represents neutrality, and brown represents wisdom. The triangle shall be used as a symbol for the nation going foward. There shall be a white star in official usage of the flag, to represent democracy, but the Leader can also be put in place of the star, like all other flags in the region.

Yellow is the colour of the Union, and represents everything the Huterric Union is and stands for.
The leftmost green crown is for democracy
The green crown in the centre is for diversity
The rightmost green crown is for unity.

The red of the background represents all the blood or nation gave to reach the point we are today.
The yellow diamond with the blue circle is a reminder of our roots as Brazilian states, and a tribute to their help towards us after the independence. The green stripes represent our vast flora and fauna. The blue stripes represent the Atlantic Ocean and Baltic Sea, where our coasts are located, and the stars represent the states: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Denmark, Latvia and Estonia, our victorious wars: The Independence War, The coup of 1950 and WW3; the final star represents the emperor, who has and will forever serve the nation dearly.

[The Greek Senate]

The Flag of the Greek Senate-called the Hellenipano-represents at the center the famous Greek Trireme, a vital member of the famous Senatorial Navy, with the light blue color representing Greek culture, and the copper lines representing the great lengths of land in the Hegemony.

The current flag has the national seal in the center. The head in the seal represents the founder of the Hegemony, the outer ring representing Greek and Hellenic cultures, the left olive branch representing wine, and the right one representing order. The pillars represent the Senate and the Hegemon-the pillars of society, and the blue background representing the blue skies above the Hegemony's lands.

The red - the blood shed during the struggle for independence & socialism
The hammer - the working class, one half of the revolutionary alliance
The sickle - the peasantry, the other half of the revolutionary alliance
The star - socialism, and the united territory of Kenayre

[United Universal Union]

The two black bars(top and bottom) represent the void, it's vastness, it's absolute and utter, darkness.
The white bar represents the light that the Union brings to species completely lost in the void, it represents uplifting.
The circle(outer black part) represents a Dyson shpere, something extremely common in the Union, the small white part represents the star itself.
The clamp emblem represents the Union's rule over the planet which it evelops.

[United Folhavahi Republic]

The blue represents the vast seas that surround the Folhavahi archipelago, while the three stars represent the three atolls of Mahiladū, Maradhoo, and Maliku. The green represents Islam and the red represents those who died during the massacres committed by the Maldivian government during the struggle for independence. The white represents the purity of the people and the Islamic religion while the crescent is also a symbol of the Islamic faith.

The Laurel Wreath represents Peace and Prosperity. The Two-Headed eagle was originally a common heraldry symbol but now represents strength and the fact that nation is the successor to both Greece and Rome. the symbol in the center represents Order. Finally, the star at the top represents National Unity and Freedom.
