How are those of a different race viewed?: The Free Tristanians are known for having a bit of an island mentality. Some people, because of a shared history, are more accepted than others. (British (and their related stock around the planet), Dutch, Flemish, Afrikaners, another example of a more readily accepted group are Filipinos). To put it bluntly: Foreigners are considered people for which the country has no use and from which no improvement to the community is to be expected.
How does race affect one's job?: One is only allowed to enter the country upon direct invitation (study, family or a job) and since foreigners are, mostly, kept at bay, their role is marginal.
Does your nation have racist policies?: The Immigration Act works on a points system (as well as on a quota system) that awards and subtracts points as based on ethnic, cultural & background, curriculum vitae and health and criminal records. The Free Tristanian system is highly selective at the gate and citizenship is almost possible to achieve for foreigners (only through marrying a native-born Free Tristanian, by means of adoption or by serving in the armed forces during a declared state of war). When citizenship, however, is achieved than a public notice will be spread around the municipality that the aforementioned citizen is and ought to be treated as a citizen.

This development is fairly new. The views on other races/ethnicities were way different until the founding of the Federation of Lillorainen in 1981, where all people were declared equal by the Federal Constitution - historians tend to disagree on whether or not minorities and the general view on them have played a role in the Civil War (1974-1976).
A notable leftover from those days is the clause "The preservation and protection of the Germanic race, as well as the enactment of appropriate legislation for these purposes, is the State's highest duty." - This clause can still today be found in the State Constitutions of both Rigesöer and Visholm, which are both older than the Federal one. However, this clause is hopelessly outdated and doesn't have any practical meaning anymore, not to mention that the Federal Constitution says differently and therefore de facto renders this clause null and void - just like many other outdated and meaningless clauses. Both states plan on reforms in order of getting rid of these.

How large is the racial majority (%)?: There is no majority, unless you consider "Pony" as a single race. We don't; they're divided into Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth ponies. Each group is about 30% of the Equestrian population. The remaining 10% consists of non-ponies; mostly donkeys, but also a small number of immigrants such as griffons. The serf population, consisting of cattle, sheep, and other farm creatures, are non-citizens and are not included in the Equestrian census.

How are those of a different race viewed?: The three races of Pony get along fairy well, as each has come to understand that the others play a necessary role in our society--indeed, without cooperation between the three races Equestria would not survive. As for non-ponies, well, ponies are unfortunately rather xenophobic, and tend to view non-ponies as aggressive and uncultured.

How does race affect one's job?: Extensively. Agriculture, for example, is almost exclusively the domain of Earth ponies; they have an affinity with the land that the other races lack. Likewise, weather control (a real thing in our nation, believe it or not) is the domain of the sky-dwelling Pegasi. As for Unicorns, well, they're kind of a grab-bag of talents. Magic is their domain, and it shows up in almost ever part of Equestrian culture. As for non-ponies, we consider them to have their niches as well. For example, cattle and sheep live on Earth pony farms, trading their milk and wool for three square meals a day and a roof over their head.

Does your nation have racist policies?: Equestria is not "race blind"; we recognize the different roles each race plays in Equestrian society and make allowances for them. To non-ponies, this sometimes looks like the government is giving preferential treatment to one race or another, or turning a blind eye to policies that appear discriminatory. Each race of Pony is equal under law, however. It is true that non-ponies aren't accorded the same status as ponies, but that is in keeping with each race's temperament. Cattle and sheep are fairly servile creatures and would not be able to survive on their own in Equestria's rather harsh environment.

Other related notes: The ultimate authority in Equestria rests with our Alicorn princesses. It's held as an article of the Harmonist faith that an Alicorn is polyracial--she has within her the combined traits of a Unicorn, Pegasus, and Earth pony.
