Ghettos in Your Nation

Pursuant to the latest official decree of Deputy Premier Stephen Bannon, duly authorized by Premier Vladimir Putin, US-SSR has established official ghettos along the Danish line.

All putative immigrants to US-SSR not currently in our world-famous Summer Camps must live in ghettos. Children of ghetto residents must attend state-approved preschools, conducted solely in our offical language of US-SSRian English, no excetions. Crimes, such as jaywalking, speeding, driving without proper equipment, having a concealed carry license, not having a concealed carry license, loitering and mopery with intent to lurk commited in a ghetto carry heavy sentences and often end with deportation. Ghetto residents commiting such crimes outside the ghetto are likewise heavily punished. The Colony government is considering regulations for uniforms and approved foodstuffs for ghetto residents to eliminate all tensions caused from distinctive headwear or other non-Caucasian Christian customs and strong odors from unusual spices.

There are certainly no official ghetto areas in Osweya. Some areas in our major towns and cities have large numbers of recent immigrants, some of which overlap with areas of relative poverty and higher crime. To many of the people living in them these areas can feel every bit as oppressive and inescapable as formal ghettos, although of course there are quite a few people who do manage to get out.

most of these refugee camps turned into slums, not only these but the cities were starting to develop slums and ghettos of their own. After the constant village raids by a dark magic cult, many people from the smaller villages moved to the cities for safety and maybe a better life. Many of the villagers were poor and moved into once fine homes turned into family rooms and became squalors. eventually These cities began to overcrowd and thus slums where formed.

To help get rid of them, Cartoon House and Supreme Leader Chad Dickson passed laws to help the slum dwellers.

• and The Affordable Housing Resolution of 1973 which lowered the average house prices to around $200-$800

To put it shortly, slums and ghettos don't exist for the most part, but there are still some poor parts of town that no one has thought to have cleaned up.

Ghettoes are very common in the major German sides of the Buffer Zone, as well as in the Reich itself and in the Greater American State, usually made for Untermensch and political prisoners if they are deemed unfit to work in the concentration camps if they are full for execution.

This system allows us to have a low poverty rate, high quality of living, and generally a good experience for inmagrants .

Islas Horizonte has comunas and favelas (these are what we call ghettos) in most towns and cities that have a notable lower-class/low income population. Difference between a comuna and a favela is not much; comunas consist of mainly Hispanic/Spanish-speakers or ethnics and favelas, Brazilian/Portuguese-speakers or ethnics. Not every ghetto is the same however, they tend to vary a lot in terms of poverty and crime; to put it simply, some parts of the country are just worse than others.
