The natives of the Monza Isles are simply called "the People" because they had no native word for their own classification, having never left the islands. The People were enslaved when Emperor Charles Magnus claimed the island and their customs and language soon declined into obscurity. Learning the native language is considered to be a luxury, or a sign of decadence. The royal family however do not learn the language by custom, as Emperor Charles deemed learning the language of "inferiors" to be a sign of weakness.

In the Shamsiyyan mainland, the existence of about ten ancient tribes has been documented, yet they got politically unified under Pharao Raorkon I. in the 800s BCE and slowly but surely mixed and merged to one nation, which is the predecessor nation of Shamsiyya (or Penra in Old Shamsiyyan, lit. 'our sun'). People from other Oriental nations have left their influence in the Shamsiyyan lands - less in a religious manner (the Islamic Expansion got halted in Shamsiyya around 800 CE during what's now referred to as the First Intifada; however, there are around 200,000 Muslims nowadays), but linguistically (modern Shamsiyyan derives from Old Arabic) - in the Late Middle Ages, some virgin islands were settled by others, which explains why Turkish and some somewhat-Persian style languages are spoken. The modern religious cults, however, mostly still derive from the ancient deities and are followed by the vast majority of the people.
Nonetheless, nowadays, Shamsiyyans are considered the Natives of the Shamsiyyans lands, regardless of their "actual" origin, as the definition of Shamsiyya as a nation has changed over the time.

We are a multiethnic empire, although the first Haminid rulers lorded over their anatolian Beylik located around Antalya. Abdul hamid Ghazi, founder of the dynasty, was a turk born to a kurd mother and a turk father, but today Islam unites all of the Hamidi Empire. In official documents it is called "The Eternal Hamidi State", though most of the rajah these days simply call it Devlet-i ʿAlīye. The Rajah, the "sheltered flock", are the subject of the Sultan of mohammedan faith. The state always implies to be the ruler of all muslims, though of the worlds many mohammedans only about 69% live in the Empire. "haminid" has become a slur in some foreign places, "if you dont like it go home and kiss the sultans boots" they say - anyone willing to do so is welcome. We have few nationals of other faiths, most of them copric christians and jews, and they enjoy the same rights. Not for nothing the demonym applied to non-muslims in the Empire, dhimmī, means "protected persons": we take great pains to avoid discrimination. They are however excluded from state office, and that includes teaching.
As for the national stereotype: it varies, from the proverbial sheikh of Araby over the black moor from tunis to the mustachioed turk or kurd with his fez. The fez is only mandatory for government employ, but since wearing hats is very popular anyways and almost everybody works for the state anyway many vendors sell non-uniform fezzes. As for the facial hair: the arabs see a beard as a sign of manhood and prowess, for most others a mustache will suffice. Not being able to grow one carries the stigma of being a homosexual.

The Arkigian continent, including Thama's island of Nikopol, was not inhabited by any sapient beings upon planetary colonization - the native Dunkairu living entirely on the southern hemisphere's 3 continents at the time - making the human colonists the closest thing to natives.

All the tribes that arose on Nikopol within the first several centuries of colonization have since either gone extinct or became integrated into the various nations that arose. As such, anyone born in the Empire of Nikopolian parents is as native as they can get.

What are the native cultures of your nation, if any? We ARE the natives. From the beginning, we were built or at least assembled here on Planet Cybertron.

How were the natives affected when foreign settlers arrived to their lands, and how did they react? Planet Cybertron was actually designed by biologicals and built by robots they brought over. Then, we were made right here. This makes it so that the foreigners actually came first, but since they were from some other planet and we're not, WE are the actual natives.

Now, with that cleared up: We kicked their asses off of Cybertron and declared it to be our own. Then, to maintain security, we waged further war on them and destroyed them.Let this be a stark lesson to other biological species who think it's a good idea to make sapient robots that are far more powerful than themselves, and have some wild expectation that they can somehow maintain control through silly programmatic kludges.

What is the current political, social and legal status of the native groups? We rule everything, and to help make sure it stays that way, we have altered Planet Cybertron so that it cannot support any known higher-order biological life.

What is their culture like (ie. their religion(s), diet, societal structure, governments, etc)? We're an autocratic military dictatorship, our basic social unit is the raid gang, our "diet" consists of a few possible grades of Energon, and everyone must hold Megatronism as their religion or else.

We're also known for our corruption, quickness to take advantage of a mark, our enjoyment of warfare, general piratical ways and attitudes, and most of all, for raiding oil from other planets. Oh yeah, and for being giant sapient transforming war robots that fly! That last part is just standard to us, but foreigners always seem to be a bit freaked out over it, especially when we land at their refineries.

What are the native cultures of your nation, if any?
There are four, and their cultures are still the leading culture of Ko-oren. Their languages are related to one another, spoken quite a bit and they are stable.

The largest native Ko-orenite culture is Gehrenna. They live across most of the largest island of Ko-oren, and speak a language referred to as Gehrennan (the cultures is named after the language they speak). They still are one of the largest cultures (=language areas) of Ko-oren, and the capitals of the nation are located there. The language is stable and the culture is still seen as the national culture.

Second largest are the Aviansola, located in the southeast. Their language (Aviansolan) is related to Gehrennan, but was heavily affected by Japanese which is now the most prevalent language of the area. The Aviansolan culture is somewhat different from Gehrennan and is the leading culture of the southeastern islands.

Next is Altiora. Their area is the northeast, and back in the day bordered Gehrenna. Their population has always been far smaller given the harshness of the land. Their culture is fairly close to Gehrennan, and is sort of considered the same thing, with a continuum going from the Gehrennan heartland to the upper northeast, but the cultures are quite close nonetheless.

Lastly is Tarrashall, located along the northwestern coast. Geographically they are very close to Gehrennan, but they're separated by a huge mountain range which means that the Tarrashall developed as a sort of chain along the coast on a narrow strip of land. The area is still sparsely populated.

How were the natives affected when foreign settlers arrived to their lands, and how did they react?
Ko-oren has always been up-to-date technologically, so foreign settlers arrived as trading partners. The foreigners have introduced their own cultures a bit, but the biggest impact was language-related: English, Dutch, French, Japanese, a Romance language and a Celtic language (the last two are spoken just in Ko-oren, but developed from existing languages) are now among the biggest languages in the country. English is the largest, Dutch, French and Japanese are tied for second with Gehrennan. Nowadays most people speak multiple languages and those languages are now considered as native as Gehrennan and the like. Ko-orenite culture is still very much its own thing, and hasn't been impacted by the foreigners too much, and the native culture(s) are definitely the leading culture still.

What is the current political, social and legal status of the native groups?
Stable and thriving. Unlike some native cultures that have been supplanted by the newcomers, Ko-oren's culture is still defined by the original culture and its customs, architecture, beliefs, cuisine, etc. The largest impact has been the linguistic impact, and that's considered a good addition that helped prepare Ko-oren for a globalising world.

What is their culture like (ie. their religion(s), diet, societal structure, governments, etc)?
The original religion was animistic, and although it's not as popular anymore, it still influences common beliefs. At its core stands moderation. For the rest, the culture isn't so different from what it is now.

[Denev-Kaitos]

The Kaitoi were the native population of modern-day Denev-Kaitos who were conquered by the invading Denevans. However, after six centuries of intermarriage and cross-assimilation any clear distinction between people of Denevan and Kaitote descent disappeared a long time ago. Essentially everyone in the country (except for immigrants) is at least a little mixed, and the two are now considered and consider themselves one single ethnic group: Denev-Kaitote.

That being said, most noble and other old landowning families in Denev-Kaitos have clearly Denevan surnames, and many such families are of predominantly Denevan descent with comparatively little Kaitote descent due to the nobility's tendency to only marry others in their social class. The nobility do not, however, consider themselves a separate ethnic group in any way.

The Denevan language has been extinct since 1753, and all ethnic Denev-Kaitotes speak Kaitoic. However, modern Kaitoic contains a very large number of loanwords and other influences from Denevan, similar to how modern English contains many influences from mediaeval Latin and Norman French. There are a number of clubs throughout the country dedicated to reviving the Denevan language, but their members are simply language enthusiasts and not any sort of ethno-separatists or Denevan supremacists, as such views do not really exist here.

The white Fostorian population is the native population of Fostoria. The only other "native people" in Fostoria was the Ghyrat Tribe, which was native to southwest Fostoria until c.350 BCE when they were driven westward into Takistan by the Kaarel Valley people.

Aboriginal Vedasters are a mainly European-descended people and make up 19% of the population. Vedastia's original inhabitants were Berbers, but German and northern Italian crusaders who had mistakenly thought that they had found a faster route to the Levant had decided to settle. These Berber populations were absorbed into the settler population, which greatly outnumbered them. Sephardic Jews fleeing Spanish persecution joined them shortly afterward, also being absorbed into the main aboriginal population. Catholics and Jews frequently intermarried, resulting in roughly 10% of aboriginal Vedasters adhering to Judaism.

The native people of Lodana are the Lodanans. Lodanans are an Argean (white) ethnic group which developed on the island from a mixture of Attican, Anglic and Nordic settlers. Today they are the largest single ethnic group in our nation, comprising just under 40% of the population although their numbers are slowly declining. As with most Argean ethnic groups there are far more individuals living off-world than here on Talus.

Even through terraforming and cooling, the constant UV light emitted causes sterility on the surface for any organism not found at the (really really) shallow depths of our oceans. And even then the oceans were empty before we began to genetically modify algae and small fish.
