Immigrants bring harm to the US-SSR. They lower wages for unskilled labor and use resources meant for US-SSRians. We do not allow children of immigrants to become citizens. If any immigrant breaks any of our laws, no matter how minor, or uses any of our social programs, no matter how little, they are subject to deportation. When we arrest an immigrant we take their children from them and put them in secret baby jails hundreds of miles away, then deport the parents. These policies stop undesireable people from trying to enter the US-SSR. (Note that none of these policies apply to Russians.)

Most are welcome as long as they behave themselves and don't commit crimes, and apply legally.

All borders are open unless a quarantine is in place or a criminal is on the run. If someone lives here, then they qualify for citizenship. Criminals will be dealt with according to laws for anyone (just do whatever to protect society from them as long as they endanger society).

Immigration are an integral part of Arthropol. There are many, especially from poorer EU countries and French speaking Africa. Immigrants are generally accepted and welcomed, if they respect local laws and traditions, especially the laïcité laws (secularism, no religious symbols, like Islamic female headwear, Jewish kippahs or Christian cross necklaces are allowed in public schools and government buildings, you are first and foremost a secular Arthropolian citizen). Asylum seekers are generally provided a shortened path to citizenship than the usual naturalisation period.

We technically have semi-open borders, in that we allow the free movement of people within the SUSR, but each republic in the SUSR decides how their borders function, with some using a closed border system (like Democratic Albania and Semi-Autonomous Region of [North] Korea)

Any immigrant that comes to the ISA that either does not have skills to benefit the Imperial Senate or Royal Family or pledge their complete and undying loyalty to the Emperor will be detained and processed in a detention camp and made ready to be sold in the slave market. Most men who come are sold to companies such as mining companies or other industries that need large amounts of labor, while the women are mainly sold to garment companies and well to do families to serve as their maids. The children are sold to businesses that need people to go into tight and cramped places. Children are also used by the military doing very dangerous jobs. People from Eu countries/Schengen Area Countries have the right to live and work in New Wolvers without asking for any kind of Visa. The same applies to Universal pact members.

An immigrant can apply for citizenship after living here for minimum five years or completing a cycle of education. This means that any person who has been attending Neo Wolverian schools do have the right to become a citizen.

Yes we do have them and since the stunning election majority victory of president elect Elwood we have seen a drastic fall in third world ghettos coming here. Under President Dusk her soft stance on immigration lead to hundreds coming here and the increased crime and rape. Most of these were coming from Mexico. President elect Elwood had mentioned in his victory speech that biometric ID cards will be introduced in the coming months which will put an end to illegal immigration. It is estimated that illegal immigration has cost taxpayers of The Vanderlands £1.1 trillion over the past 5 years under the Social Democrats rule. This was one of the disastrous policies that lead to the collapse of the Social Democrat Party which failed to even come in as the 2nd popular party. The Far right NCP (National Christian Party) did instead. The Vanderlanian Libertarian Party won in the biggest election majority in 121 years. The people of the Vanderlands knew their country was starting to be attacked by the third world. Luckily president Elect Elwood will now fix this mess and Make The Vanderland Great Again !

We allow ALL immigrants into our country, except for immigrants with a criminal record in their home country that would be equatable with laws in New Ciencia. Ethnicity is roughly 70% russian, 15% native minorities, 15% immigrant minorities. During capitalist rule, immigration was primarily used as a source of cheap labour. -those who could spread serious diseases if allowed in.
