This applies to both Humans and Taloans. Both genders put a lot of emphasis on "cuteness" whereas the alternative for men is "Lean and/or Toned" and for women it's "Nerdy and/or Punkish". However, since the Technocracy doesn't recognize gender or sexuality as something worth recording, but rather, chromosomes, citizens are free to define themselves as either male or female, trans or cis, gay or straight, so a very feminine man can try to fit the woman beauty standards and vice versa. Since the Technocracy is predominately East Asian-Brazilian-Indian-Nigerian dominated (As the majority of the West sided with the UN), their beauty standard has a very Indo-Sino and Latin bias.
