Other Information: There are increasing calls within the nation to join the European Union, or just a monetary agreement with the EU to replace the Pedrosa with the Euro. This is in response to the quickening depreciation of the currency (since 2008, the currency has gone from $1/₱22.41 to 1$/₱37.54, averaging <₱1.55 per year rate of depreciation), which is called by pro-European factions a national emergency, but countered by nationalist factions as a lack of economic modernization and intervention.

• (Standard Features): The Ezkutu and Orri are developed and designed as a vertical oriented banknotes. All Ikuian banknotes are are made of a paper-polymer composite, and retaining chaotic color schemes (standard national colors of cyan and white), all to deter and counter counterfeiting. Like the Ikuian flag, the Ezkutu/Orri banknotes have transparent denomination numbers on them, which is again to thwart counterfeiting.
• (Distinguishing Features): The Ezkutu has golden edges, while the Orri has silver edges and is slightly shorter than the Ezkutu. In addition, the Ezkutu retain backgrounds displaying Ikuian landscape and flora, symbolizing the earthly value and heavy sense of weight in the currency. On the other hand, the Orri retain backgrounds displaying Ikuian fauna, which symbolizes the light sense of weight compared to the Ezkutu.
