• The 10-, 20- and 50-Khroma notes use heat-sensitive dye, which when activated, can be seen to be off to the sides of the front side of each bill, spelling out the denomination of the bill, such as "ten Khroma". This can be most easily demonstrated by holding the bill near a heat source for a brief period of time, after which a new set of somewhat dark ink will appear.
• The 20- and 50-Khroma notes contain microprint to verify their authenticity. The microprint should match the current motto of Synthellia, currently "To Know What is Unknown".
• The 50-Khroma note's serial number is also printed on the front, in the top margin, with UV-sensitive ink. This ink will not be visible unless a UV light is shone upon it for a period of time, at which point the message will be visible in a purple hue.

Other Information: After the twilight war and the great migration from earth, many different currencies taken from people's abandoned homes circulated in the burgeoning separatist republics within the solar system. Although physical currency existed and circulated on a local station-to-station level, decentralized and central-bank cryptocurrencies dominated as they could be sent at the speed of light, rather than waiting for a ship wasting precious reaction mass to travel between two ports.
