Inspired by a similar questionnaire about LGBT rights, the Republic of Viet Nam would like to know the rights of heteros in other nations.

No, because marriage in law refers exclusively to religious partnerships. Heterosexual civil partnerships are quite acceptable.

Different-sex adoption?
Yes.

Yes.

Anti-discrimination laws (Sexual orientation)
Discrimination is forbidden under (most recently) the Discrimination Act 2000.

No, the government does not recognize marriages.

Different-sex adoption?

Unwanted children are usually raised by the community, but occasionally they may be officially taken in or 'adopted'. As long as the guardian is deemed suitable, gender/sexual orientation is not a factor.

Allows heteros allowed to serve openly in military?

Yes.

Anti-discrimination laws (Sexual orientation):

We have no cultural taboos on sexual orientation, so they have not been necessary thus far.

They are the only ones with any right to be recognized to begin with. As we all know all homosexuals have a degenerative mental condition.

Yes, They are the only one that is legal.

Different-sex adoption?

Adoption follows a relatively unique system in the Empire. Male and female children are adopted in order to infuse a new blood into a family, though due to this children are usually only adopted by a family from the caste/class as a result of stringent social conventions in the Empire that 'encourage' people to marry close cousins which causes a fair bit of lulz. As well, the concept of adoption is more based upon house lines and as such parental bonds, in a foreign sense, are not truly formed and adopted individuals are brought mostly with parent like relationships with various section of the house. For example it is not uncommon for men to adopt female nobles from other houses in order to marry them when they reach sexual maturity.

Allows heteros allowed to serve openly in military?

The Imperial Armed Forces, save for medical or domestic chore units, are composed solely of heterosexual men as homosexual men are killed in the Empire.

Anti-discrimination laws (Sexual orientation)

Read the Bible. Only heterosexuals, and technically homosexual women, have legal protection.
