Overview

Energy and Infrastructure is the lifeblood of a nation; without it, a nation would crumble, in the legislative and literal sense. Freilibre is reviewing our commitment towards developing and nourishing a sustainable, environment friendly energy industry, that promotes healthy living in all Freilibrans. The Energy and Infrastructure Agency's visions towards reaching this goal extends beyond our borders, and reaches to the world. As part of many initiatives, the Commonwealth shares diplomatic interests with energy and infrastructure, developing and kick-starting the economies of developing countries, and in turn, create larger and more wealthier customers of the nation's industries. Sharing growth, prosperity, and innovation with the world, is a key aspect in the Agency, along with the priority of Freilibre's own management systems.

Freilibre is a global energy leader with a unique portfolio that includes the Commonwealth's resources such as solar, wind, coal, natural gas, nuclear, petroleum refining, oil, minerals, rare-earth minerals (such as diamonds, copper, lead, zinc mines in Namibia). Part of the uniqueness that comes with Freilibre is its various overseas territories, which connect to the global power grids.

Namibia is a member of the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), wherein members share energy production with each other multilaterally. Power in Namibia has, in itself, a diverse quota, with the discoveries of oil and natural gas, as well as the use of the Namib in terms of solar and wind energy production in the near future; with plans that will create economic development in Namibia. Quebec is entirely dependent on the Canadian electrical grid, that spans much of the east coast of Canada and Maritimes; much of the province's local production relies on hydroelectric dams, wind and solar energy. The Freilibran Virgin Islands is solely dependent on renewable energy, and serves a model to follow in the rest of the Commonwealth. Utilizing wind power, as well as hydroelectric generators in the Caribbean Sea, the Freilibran Virgin Islands shares its power with other nearby islands, and sustains local industries far reaching of its borders. Similar to the aforementioned Virgin Islands, the Southern Indian Islands as well as the Chilean Islands heavily rely on renewable, sustainable, and alternative sources of energy; whereas the Virgin Islands shares its power however, because of current geopolitical situations, the Energy and Infrastructure grid of the overseas territories are not connected with the other neighboring territories of India and Chile.

Similar to that of Quebec's relations in terms of resources and production, much of Western Greenland is reliant heavily on the basis of hydroelectricity, in which 70% of its electricity is generated through emission-free hydroelectric power. In the Antarctic bases and territories of Freilibre, resources are more strained, and supplies are heavily reliant on Argentina and Chile, as well as quarterly shipments from Europe. In all of the Commonwealth's nations, infrastructure goes hand in hand with energy development and resource systems.

The Energy and Infrastructure Agency sustains the interests of all Freilibrans of the Commonwealth through the stewardship of the development of energy and mineral resource systems, as well as the interests of transportation and the continued development of lesser developing countries and members of the commonwealth. Initiatives, such as the Central African Investment and Development of Infrastructure Initiative (CAIDII), promote

The Energy and Infrastructure Agency...

Manages the universal national electric grid, supplying and distributing power to all households, infrastructure, businesses, etc. as well as the liability systems of corporate energy and electric providers, and the legal issues regarding the companies that operate them;

Develops policies that pertain to the development and implementation of renewable and alternative energy (wind, bioenergy, solar, hydro, geothermal, etc.);

Monitors and administrators the Reward Systems through royalty subsidiaries and other miscellaneous corporate grooming;

Grants industries rights and abilities that pertain to the exploration of territory within the Commonwealth, whereas other governmental ministries focus less on overseas territories;

Promotes energy efficiency through the cooperation and multilateral agreements between those in the community and those of the multinational corporations and businesses that operate in and out of Freilibre and the Commonwealth;

Establishes diplomatic ties between other nations and communities in the far reaching world to further their own agencies and goals, in conjunction with similar international laws as well as regional laws and their affairs;

Encourages innovation within the national, European, and global scientific community that creates discoveries and grows the mindset of citizens and industries;

Renewable Energy Solutions

Since the Industrial Revolution in the 1760's, the world has constantly relied on the innovative discoveries that fuel the future's economies, and to help stimulate growth and development. In today's world, and in the aftermath of the ignorance of the 19th and 20th centuries, nonrenewable energy is no longer feasible for long term benefits. Such cases as in the rise of greenhouse gases, and the depleting resources of oil, coal, and natural gas.
