Is the majority population indigenous to your nation?
Yes.
If yes:
Are they proud of their heritage?
Usually yes.
Has there been a history of their oppression or removal from their land?
Kind of. Invasions from other kingdoms in the past has caused them to be ruled by nobles from other lands for a period but with the rise of Folccwen they are now free.
Have they ever conquered or colonized other nation's indigenous populations?
Not really, unless they are being oppressed.
Overall, how much does your people's indigenous heritage affect them, politics, and the nation in general?
Not a whole lot, but there is a general sense of comradeship.

Is the Military as an institution viewed positively or negatively by the public (and which groups view it positively/negatively):

Quite positively. All citizens must spend a minimum of two years in the military unless they are of retirement age when they become a citizen, though of course people with physical impairment and disability are given alternative training, and one can opt out of combat if they so desire by working many of the other jobs within the military that need done beyond boots on the ground.

Are officers viewed positively or negatively:

An officer is a career soldier; Someone who has been through the two required years and then decided that they wanted to sign up for four or more. It's a commitment that is recognized with pride. As a peacekeeping nation, officers take on a lot of responsibility to ensure that the people they take with them on peacekeeping and mercenary operations know to adhere to the policies of the nations they are stationed in and to represent TUCOA proudly.

What qualities are officers viewed as having

Integrity, resilience, and patience are the founding blocks of what makes up a good officer.

Are soldiers viewed positively or negatively?

Men who fight for TUCOA and to keep the nation's economy churning as a state-run solder-for-hire program are viewed positively, as everyone was one at some point. Known the world over for keeping peace amid countries and standing as protectors for countries that cannot protect themselves, they return home to happiness and praise, and for risking their lives for the country they are all given a comfortable lifestyle.

What qualities are soldiers viewed as having?

Bravery, Honor, and Compassion: A foe today may be an ally tomorrow, and while we have the capacity to destroy everything, it is far better and greater to coordinate rather than conquer. Our superior weapons, arms, and tactics may make us more able to kill, but their lives are to defend. A good soldier will recognize that.

How does the Military influence society?

With everyone being a soldier at some point, everyone knows discipline, but this also leads to almost everyone being able to talk about something or another. Uniting people under the common flag of war and defense also can unite them in other ways, and forge friendships that last a lifetime. Men, women, and androgenous people of the TUCOAN military, be they but two, six, or twelve years of service, can all stand and be proud that what they do is right.

How does society influence the Military?
The military is extremely large and vast, and people seeking either excitement in battle or the perks of citizenship come to TUCOA, will be extremely diverse in language, race, and thought. Much like the French Foreign Legion, all people become equally worthless within bootcamp, and are broken down to raise back up again as equals. People are free to say as they please, but their actions must show that they are acting fairly in all circumstances despite personal creeds.

Are there any festivals linked to the Military

Dozens, and it spans globally no matter where the soldiers are stationed. During the Leader's Birthday, for instance, every soldier receives a bonus and are encouraged to spend it within the local economies to stimulate them globally, ensuring that no matter how poor the country, that they receive a benefit of having the TUCOA Protectors within their country.

Mode of Production Survey
Does the state (or lack thereof) officially describe itself as communist, socialist, capitalist, or other? Socialist

If so, is this describer accurate? Broadly speaking, yes

Regardless of official describers, which mode of production or economic system dominates your society? The socialist mode of production

Is property in your nation owned collectively in some fashion? Yes, mostly by the state but also by worker's co-operatives. Private property has been making a comeback in some areas thanks to the recent legalisation of personal nano-fabricators, which promise to revolutionise the light industry sector

Does your nation retain market mechanisms? Yes, markets are still in use or have been re-introduced in some parts of the economy. People are entitled to buy and sell products that they fabricate themselves (if they have a personal fabricator), which has lead to a small but thriving parallel economy of many individual 'cottage industries'

Please place an X in the boxes that best describe your nation's socialist practices.
[X]Marxism-Leninism
[X]Democratic Socialism

Is there a socialist party that holds political dominance? Yes, the Communist Party of Kenayre

Is there a state at all? Yes

Do workers own and control their own workplaces? This is the case in some industries but it is far from the norm. In most cases workers have some say in the running and organisation of their workplaces through their unions, with the industries themselves belonging to the state which represent the community as a whole

Does the nation seek to expand socialism beyond its own borders? Current state policy mirrors the official line from the Socialist International Organisation - peaceful coexistence with the capitalist countries and prioritisation for the development of socialism at home

Does your state have an interpretation of socialism that retains private property? Private property is tolerated in some cases, such as for the self employed and worker's co-operatives. The state has recently started selling personal nano-fabricators to individuals and worker's co-operatives, which has been criticised by some on the left of the Party as bringing in "capitalism by the back door". However, the Party leadership contend that this is putting the means of production directly into the hands of the people, and still compatible with the goal of socialism

Would you describe the nation as revolutionary, pacifist, or authoritarian/totalitarian? Revolutionary socialist

Political Spectrum Survey
Note: for the sake of consistency, the spectrum is based on hierarchy and equality. The more equality, the further left-wing. Far-left would be no hierarchy (anarchism, communism). The more hierarchy, the more right-wing. Far right-wing would be no equality (fascism, feudalism).
Place an "X" on the spectrum where your nation lies.
Socially:
FAR-LEFT|----------------------|CENTER|--------------------[X]---|FAR-RIGHT
Economically:
FAR-LEFT|-----------[X}----------|CENTER|------------------------|FAR-RIGHT
Politically:
FAR-LEFT|---------[X]--------------|CENTER|----------------------|FAR-RIGHT
Overall:
FAR-LEFT|------------------[X]---|CENTER|------------------------|FAR-RIGHT
