Necre Escote
Name: Necre Escote (NAY-cray ess-COE-tay, or Escort of the Dead)
Type: Reaper
Power (on a scale from 0a to 10a, see this for more info): 2a
Size: Depends
Is it real? Yes, according to the Yh'Ri'I culture. But there is no definite answer for everyone. It's like asking everybody if there's a god; you'll get a mix of yes and no.
Description: Necre Escote is a being that delivers the souls of the dead to Necre Botani (Garden of the Dead, the afterlife.) She can only be seen by the person she is delivering, and she appears as a pale woman with a cloak. Her voice is identical to that of the dead one's mother at the time of their birth.
What cultures is it often mentioned? She plays a very important part in Yh'Ri'I religion and culture.
If it is real, is it passive or aggressive? Passive.
Where does it live? Anywhere on Earth, wherever someone dies.
When does it become active (if it is dormant)? When someone dies.
Other Notes: Time works differently in Necre Escote's dimension, so she delivers someone just in time for another person to die.

Grk'Shmrg
Name: Grk'mrg (Pronounced GERK-ə-shmerg; also known as Enfente Voria, meaning "Child Eater")
Type: Demon (It's sort of its own type.)
Power (on a scale from 0a to 10a, see this for more info): 2b
Size: Ten times as large as the child it's hunting.
Is it real? No, but don't tell the kids!
Description:
Grk'mrg is a monster that only eats prepubescent children, but it is downright horrified of the child's parents, grandparents, or any pubescent/post-pubescent person related to the child (The start of puberty is seen as adulthood in Yh'Ri'I culture).
It is said to have two legs, a tail, and three eyes. Beneath it's flesh is nothing, just an endless void; that's where the children go when they are eaten.
People are told the truth, that it is not real, when they reach puberty. They are also told if they are sent to an orphanage, so they don't live in complete fear of this creature. Also, if a child risks it and runs away from home, they're bound to find out sooner or later.
Basically, Grk'mrg is a myth created to keep children from running away.
What cultures is it often mentioned? Almost all Yh'Ri'I parents tell the myth of Grk'mrg to their children.
If it is real, is it passive or aggressive? Well it seeks out stray kids and eats them alive, so you tell me.
Where does it live? Wherever there is a stray child.
When does it become active (if it is dormant)? Whenever there is a stray child.
Other Notes: (Kinda OOC:) I wrote a poem called "Fraite " or "Fear Grk'Shmrg", and you can read it here. (No, my real name isn't Zever Krakowski, that's a name I created solely for the purpose of this poem.)
