Your Nation's Weather at the Moment II

Original thread: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=324289

Looks like this one got locked for insufficient OP as well, so here's another one for y'all to use.

Simply post the current weather of your country, and you'll be alright. It's completely fine to make more posts here if you want. Anything related to weather, from simply the current temperature to an entire description of how stormy or sunny it is in your country, is permitted in your post, so you can make it as straightforward or detailed if you wish.

EXAMPLE: The current weather is 23 degrees Celsius this week.

DETAILED EXAMPLE: In our country, there is a 50% chance of rain all month, and the current temperature is 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Citizens are being advised to stay indoors due to the unusual weather conditions.

For us: In the DGES, the current temperature here is 184 degrees Fahrenheit. A ton of smoke is covering the sky, which in turn is making our country less sunny. It's frequent that this happens, though, and citizens are unfazed by the lack of sun and the scorching heat, which are both caused by extreme quantities of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Alright, now that we've said what our current, legitimate weather is, carry on with posting your nation's weather at the moment.

And because it was an insubstantial topic otherwise unlikely to promote actual discussion, and merely invited drive-by posting - which are also prohibited - with a CTE OP, thus unable to correct it.

Emphasis added. An emphasis on more detail, promoting discussion on your nation's weather, climate, etc. is what is keeping this one afloat, and where I recommend this thread continue to trend, less it also wind-up locked.

Reading Kyru's post above, I can assume that something like this is a-okay:

Random Nation wrote:The current weather of [nation] is approximately 69 degrees Fahrenheit with a 21 percent chance of rain. The reason for this is because we have 360 tons of natural gas in the atmosphere.

or this:

Random Nation wrote:For this week's forecast, we're looking pretty bad right now if you take a look at our forecast:

Sunday: Absolute Zero
Monday: 666 degrees Celsius
Tuesday: 420 degrees Fahrenheit
Wednesday: 69 degrees Celsius
Thursday: 360 degrees Fahrenheit
Friday: 69,666 degrees Celsius
Saturday: 420,360 degrees Fahrenheit

This has been the absolute worst for this year. Hopefully we can get this situation fixed soon in our universe...

Nothing outstandingly detailed, but enough for this thread to not be chained and imprisoned by the shackles of the mod lock. To be safe, I'm likely gonna respond to other nations' posts to promote discussion and keep this thread here up and running.

Don't worry, Kyru's not asking y'all to post giant walls of text to satisfy him, and remember, it's up to y'all if you want to keep this thread alive.

Correct. Merely topics that are broad enough to actually promote discussion, OPs that are substantive, and posts which consist of actual discussion pertinent to said topics - not spam.

The national observatory thermometer reads 29° C for the Capital of Batdin. Typical for evenings this time of year. Skies are overcast, with a light drizzle near the coast. Rains are expected to deepen overnight as a storm, an unseasonably small one for the rainy season, works its way through the country.

In a strange piece of weather-related news, Guaso Hyeuvung, local prankster in Laichat City, manipulated the teleprompter in the evening news weather forecast to read "Cloudy with a chance of falling padlocks, Severe Weather Warnings are in effect due to the appearance of a giant animal skull smiting people from the sky" Local residents were relieved to find no such giant animal skull in the heavens, and are scratching their heads as to what would cause someone to think that padlocks evaporating and precipitating would be edgy satire. One Pundit, Dang Pedak, is blaming the awkwardness of the joke on declining rates of Youth Rebelliousness, and is using it to advocate for his proposed policy of nationwide "Don't Bother Children While They're Skateboarding" laws. The few government officials who seemingly understand what the joke was about have responded that the unspecified "new policies" are not nearly as restrictive as they appeared to the young man and urged patience.
