The predominance of SW and S winds will make these upcoming days cloudier than those on the previous week. Very hot and sweltering temperatures are expected, between 41-43 in the afternoon and not lowering to less than 29 at night. It's highly recommendable to take care of very high temperatures in all ages (orange-coloUred alert/red coloUred alert)

In Quilmes, being 10.27 a.m., the current temperature is 28.9C, feels like 33.9C, humidity is 69% and there's no wind, the sky is clear and we expect a high of 42C today.
In Floresta, the current temperature is 35.5C, feels like 40.6C, humidity is 48% and the sky is clear. We expect a high of 45C.

A mixed bag in terms of weather for Tamaki over the next week, as one would expect for spring. A few warm sunny days in store, but also a lot of cloud and rain without any exceptionally cold temperatures.

The city of Tamaki straddles the Whangakawa Strait which separates the island of Moanapapa from the island of Marangawhenua. Like most of northern Tangatarehua, it has a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate (Koppen Cwa) though parts of the city close to the coast border on a humid subtropical climate (Koppen Cfa) with slightly higher levels of rainfall that the outer suburbs.

Summers are hot, humid and rainy with the city experiencing a monsoon-like weather phenomenon known as romata raumati ('summer tears') during December and January. Like most of Tangatarehua there is some seasonal lag. February is the warmest month, with a daily mean temperature of 26°C (79°F) although daytime highs frequently exceed 32°C (90°F). Winters are mild and usually dry with occasional cool spells, while strong winds from the Whangakawa strait tend to make temperatures in winter feel colder than they are. Winter lows rarely dip below 0°C (32°F) and snow is extremely rare. The daily mean temperature in July, the coldest month, is 10°C (50°F). Overall, Tamaki is the second warmest major city in Tangatarehua.

Seasonal differences are slightly more pronounced in the suburbs, particularly in Tamaki-tonga (South Tamaki, on the island of Marangawhenua), while Tamaki-raki (North Tamaki, on the island of Moanapapa) experiences slightly higher rainfall and milder temperatures. This is due to different elevations as well less proximity to the ocean in Tamaki-tonga.

The city is prone to tropical cyclones between the months of November and April, usually seeing at least one every year. Strong cyclones are rare, but some have caused significant building damage and flooding. Annual rainfall is high with the city usually receiving over 2000mm of rain each year. Rainfall is considerably higher in summer than in winter, with the city receiving an average of 491mm of rain in December versus only 28mm in July. The city also receives an average of 1,892 hours of sunshine each year with early spring and late winter (August to October) usually the sunniest time of year.

The hottest temperature ever recorded in Tamaki was 39°C (102°F) on 29th January 2009, while the coldest was -3°C (26°F) on June 29th 1960.

The predominance of S and SE winds will make a notable gap between morning-night and afternoon temperatures, as well as adding humidity, which can make this following days quite uncomfortable.

Wonderful news. Just as our Hurricane Larry final numbers are about to be reported and Tropical Storm Peter leaves behind a deluge of rain, Hurricane Sam is expected to swing by the eastern and central archipelago later this week. The United Peoples, the United Queendom and the Public Crown are preparing evacuation orders.

Hurricane Sam has been updated to Cat 4, officially a major storm. It is expected to make landfall during the late afternoon to the evening of 30 September.

Mandatory evacuation-or-shelter orders are due to go into effect tonight at 00:01 (12:01 AM) Beagle Standard Time, 29 September. Across the region, businesses will be ordered to close from that point until 00:01 on 5 October, and all state officials are to direct aid efforts virtually. The Public Crown's transition to socialism shall also begin at 00:01 29 September so that the state can more directly help businesses prepare for the storm and provide relief after it passes. The transition was originally scheduled for next Monday, 4 October, the weekday start of the region's fourth fiscal quarter.

Although the preparations that have been undertaken in Dexter regional states are expected to avert significant loss of life and destruction of property, the Stateless Sovereignty's complete lack of any organized governance is expected to once again leave it vulnerable to disaster.

Hurricane Sam is expected to make landfall on the eastern archipelago in the early morning hours of 30 September. Most people across the region have taken shelter or evacuated by this point, with more still to come.

Toll to be reported along with Larry, Peter numbers, will count as official costs of climate change

The death toll and financial damages from Hurricane Sam are to be jointly reported with that of Hurricane Larry and Tropical Storm Peter, as well as any future storms, when the Dexter Weather Bureau issues its final season report in December. These numbers will officially count as effects of climate change, as the region recently voted to include lives lost and damage caused by exceptionally strong hurricane seasons as casualties of humanity's taxing influence over the environment.

Schools, businesses closed, Loysville begins transition to socialism

Across the region, schools are closed and workers are receiving a paid day off until the evacuation is lifted 00:01 (12:01 AM) 5 October Beagle Standard Time. State officials are directing aid efforts virtually.

The Public Crown's transition to socialism began at 00:01 this morning, and is expected to continue through next week. Loy state officials rescheduled the transition from its original start date of 4 October in order to more directly assist businesses in preparing for the hurricane and provide aid after it strikes.

National Weather for October 2nd 2039

Forsinard: Sunny, 8°C/5°C (Wind: NW at 14km/h)

New Hereford: Cloudy, 15°C/10°C (Wind: W at 25km/h)

Woodleigh: Thunderstorms, 16°C/12°C (Wind: SW at 32km/h)

Outlook for October

The Pulsrothi Met Service officially confirmed that the first snowfall of the season was recorded in the early hours of yesterday morning near Valleyhead in the Central East region, where temperatures dipped down to an unusually low -3°C. Aside from this occuring more than two weeks before it usually does, the weather on the High Plains has been somewhat turbulent, with numerous weak tornadoes recorded around Woodleigh and the neighbouring Meredith Prefecture.

Throughout October, temperatures are expected to drop across the country, with nighttime lows likely dropping to around -8°C in Forsinard and -4°C in Woodleigh by the middle of the month. Rainfall will also likely begin trending above average as we enter the Southwest's wet winter season, which could lead to minor flooding on the Leintwardine and Yat rivers.

Hurricane Sam made landfall on the archipelago at 07:17 Beagle Standard Time yesterday, 1 October. Although the brunt of the storm has passed by now, residual flooding still wracks large parts of the islands.

Regulations, advanced warning systems save lives

As was the case with Hurricane Larry and Tropical Storm Peter, efforts by legislators to prepare the islands for hurricane destruction have been credited with saving countless lives. The region's sophisticated weather alert system is also believed to have shepherded nearly 5 million people into safety and provided detailed insight towards assistance for those who remained in harm's way.

However, in the Stateless Sovereignty, widespread damage and death has been reported. Although no regional observers attended the government-less island nation during the storm, videos of flooded streets, landslides and building collapses are continuing to surface on the internet. Regional legislators are dispatching aid imminently.

Clean-up efforts begin, Loysville makes progress towards socialism switch

Post-storm rescue and clean-up efforts are already underway. The exact death toll and financial damage are to be reported with the region's annual hurricane season report in December. Meanwhile, the Public Crown continues its switch to socialism. It has made measurable progress thus far but reports state that its estimated date of completion has been furthered to within 2-4 weeks.

Surprisingly good weather this week for mid October. A little bit of rain on Sunday but for the rest of the week seems perfect for the CPB playoffs in Cooper. The dew point is also quite low, even better. Might experience some slight winds with heavy clouds over the weekdays but as of the moment it’s unlikely that rain will occur.
