The ability to post on other Regional Message Boards is not unrestricted.
For starters, it can only be extended to nations in regions that share embassies with that region and can be restricted to:
- Founders and Delegates of embassy regions
- Officers of embassy regions
- Officers of embassy regions with communications authority
- Any nations located in embassy regions
Your region does not presently have any embassies with other regions and therefore you cannot post in any other RMBs.

I am going to create a government factbook soon to go into details of the workings of my country's government, and I wanted to ask if anyone knew of some good factbooks or guides to creating an adequate description.
I would like to go into substantial detail, so a more detailed guide/example would be preferable.

My nation is supposed to be an ethnic Irish settler nation founded by Irish Catholic emigres in the mid-19th century, and they are later joined by subsequent groups of famine refugees, Fenian fighters, and exiled Irish Repurblicans. Essentially this is supposed to be an Irish version of Israel. Other settler groups will include disgruntled Irish-Americans, Catholic Scottish Highlanders fleeing the Clearances, and some Catholic peers from England.
The only question is I'm not sure what type of Irish it would make sense for Clogheen to be. Should it be English-speaking or Gaelic-speaking? Should it be Roman Catholic or attempt to become some indigeneous Celtic Christianity or even Celtic Paganism?
The nature of the state means that its founding elite is going to be staunchly conservative and Catholic. However, the Catholic Church in Ireland promoted the English language and was against Gaelicization. So by default there will be many conservative English speakers. However, the famine refugees are going to primarily be Gaelic speaking. The later groups of Fenians and Republics are going to be educated, urbanized, English-speaking, and include a few Protestants. I'm having trouble envisioning how these groups would relate and who would come out on top.
Would it make sense for Clogheen to be English-speaking and staunchly Catholic? Or Gaelic and practicing some native Celtic Christianity? Or full of liberal English-speaking Republicans? While Ulster Scots people aren't going to be welcome in Ireland, there are going to be a fair amount of English-speaking Anglo-Irish Anglicans who are sympathetic to the state. Which one of these groups is going to set the general cultural tone?

Top-level policies of settler colonies tend to be dictated by the elite, so it's more likely to favor the English language and Catholic religion. Gaelicization and indigenization of the state would come from the lower classes; something that require a charismatic leader like Gandhi or MLK or someone insane enough to call himself the new High King of Ireland.
For maximum opportunities of building future stories, you can set up that the Anglophones and the Gaelophones are locked in political tension and maintain a fragile equilibrium where each faction hold some advantage over the other.

is there any way how I can add an empty line below a paragraph of a factbook? I wrote it/took it from a template, just can't post the raw code here (I'm a noob).
What's bugging me is the too small space between "Text about etymology" and "History":

I don't believe we support that. At least, none of the usual BBcode methods I know of work.Zouayne Shyce wrote:Hello there,

I don't think that you're seeing what I'm seeing, because I looked at this test page of yours and there's a very large space between between "Text about History" and "Geography" rather than "Text about etymology" and "History"; really, you probably just shouldn't worry about it.
I'm not sure of an actual good way to resolve it myself, but you could, if a pixel of black doesn't bother you, puton a new line to force a space. You can obviously also color the text as suits you to better hide it.
- Code: Select all

I think that the Object Replacement Character might work, though, and that actually is invisibleor U+FFFC (last character in Windows charmap if that helps)

Yep, according to this part of the board's 'Welcome' sticky, domestic news threads belong in their own thread here in Factbooks and National Info. There are also some active inclusive threads such as this one if that's more to your liking or style
