It is our greatest pleasure to announce the opening of the Kynelandic Embassy Programme, which will allow foreign nations to establish their own embassies within the Kingdom of Kyneland and further their diplomatic reach and bolster relations.
The Kingdom of Kyneland, otherwise referred to as “Kyneland” in English and Kynelandic or “Waldeland” in the German tongue, is a sovereign island nation operating under a unitary constitutional parliamentary monarchy. It is located in the North Sea, with its primary allies of the Kingdom of Norway, Kingdom of Denmark and Great Britain being close by.
Kyneland is inhabited by roughly 300,000 Kynelandic citizens, over 90% of whom are native Kynelandic, with the largest minority groups being Baltic German, Polish and British. The state is secular, with no state church and an atheist king. The majority of persons are atheist, with fair populations of Lutherans and Anglicans.
Kynelandic is a largely neutral country, and wishes that no nation-states attempt to bring war to the Kynelandic people or its shores.
Notes:
- All embassies shall be, by default, placed within the capital city of Dunwik, on Jøhanstraat. Choices of embassy locations include: the Polish-founded city of Puzów/Puzau, which is known for its Polish atmosphere and architecture, the oldest Catholic Church in Kyneland and official teaching of Polish in the city curricula; the smart-city of Kyllehaven, which is under construction but slowly becoming prominent; the academy city of Hartingham, which is noted for its attractions, schools, libraries and Rainer University.
- Recreational substances, such as drugs and alcohol, are legal so long the user is of correct age. All substances, pets or anything of the sort must be declared.
- Armoured/armed vehicles, armour-piercing, incendiary or fully-automatic weapons; riot gear, explosives and lethal substances are prohibited.
We dearly hope that, with this programme, we will be able to foster greater diplomatic ties, trade relations and potentially cultural ties with our fellow legitimate nation-states of the world.
