We have a few key strong points
1) Mental Health. Mental Health gets 55% of our healthcare funding in the Union. By law all schools are required to have a counsellor, and all schools must teach self care and mental healthcare as a subject NOT to be examined on (this was introduced in place of mandatory physical education in 2001).
2) LGBTQ Treatment. One of the first laws passed in the Huterric Union was the Second Act (The First one declared the creation of a constitution that all citizens must carry on their person at all times), known as "The Second Act of the Huterric Constiution - The Freedoms and Rights Promise". This says in Clause 5 that the government does not distinguish between sexual orientation, and thus all LGBTQ identities are equals and protected from discrimination as much as Heterosexuals and Cisgenders are. The Twelfth Act declares what the government consider human rights, and the "Right of identity" is one of them. That is, the right for someone to identify as a sexual orientation, a gender identity, a part of an organisation, or anything one could identify as. This has made the Huterric Union a safe place for the community, and a common base for LGBTQ activism for other countries where activism elsewhere is unsafe (as in, many pro-LGBTQ+ organisations operating in unfriendly nations base their HQ in the Union to prevent shutting down).
3) Our roads are well managed. They're built efficiently, managed efficiently, and are incredibly safe. It's incredibly uncommon to have an accident on highway status roads - to the point where if one happens it's on the national news. In terms of road building we always schedule completion a year later than what is reality to make way for any schedule changes.
4) Faking a crime, or falsely accusing someone of one, is illegal. The most notable example is in the event of rape. If a woman falsely accuses a man of rape then her reputation is more likely to be damaged than the man's because she could potentially lose someone their freedom over something that never happened. And as a culture we're pretty big on freedom.
5) We're really good at human rights. The Twelfth Act of our constitution states what the Huterric government recognises as human rights. The thirty human rights set aside in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the UN are all recognised as human rights. Our government is incredibly liberal with what is considered a "human right", however, so being able to get an abortion is also considered a human right. As is same sex marriage. As is euthanasia. As is the high level of economic freedoms we have. As is our minimum wage. The list goes on and the Twelfth Act is the longest in our constitution.
6) We're incredibly laid back people. The Huterric Union prides itself in being an incredibly cosmopolitan country. Settling in and nationalising as an immigrant is easy here, as we tend to assimilate with your culture more than you do with ours.
