Below you can find a series of extra maps. They show different aspects of the map, giving meaning to geographical location. They are meant to be a guideline for geopolitical interaction.
Territorial application
if you are new to the region please use this thread to apply for a spot on the map.
Copy the map from this link and paint the spot(s) you would like to have and post it below. If at all possible, please take the biomes and energy resources maps into account while also keeping your geopolitical position application in mind. (please leave the dividing lines of the spots intact) Your application may be subject to change in coordination with you (the poster).
Map claim guidelines:
What follows are in no way hard rules but a set of guidelines to help you through the process of claiming a spot on the map.
Technically there is no hard limit on how many spots you can request but please remain within reason. I would prefer that you would choose continuous land areas for your nation (Islands, big and small near your coast or territory divided by only a narrow strait of water would qualify as continuous land areas), although choosing smaller remote areas (like tiny islands) to compliment your main body of territory is allowed (my own nation, Roelandia has them for instance) although this is not generally encouraged, unless you have a good narrative for why you posses such remote regions. For instance, powers with a strong naval tradition (Now, or in the past) and advantageous maritime geographical positions would qualify for that.
