We seem to be making progress but not enough, despite withdrawing the social security law, the anti government protests continue in Nicaragua.

In response the government has released dozens of young university students and reopend the transmission of 4 TV channels, but the nature and essence of the government has not changed, they are only trying to pacify the people so nothing really changes.

Despite President Daniel Ortega and his wife Vice President Rosario Murillo, withdrawing the unpopular social security law, increasing taxes on both employers and workers, reducing benefits and pensions, the anti government protests continue as thousands of Nicas protested Saturday April 28 2018, calling for economic and political freedoms, and their resignations.

We continue to support Daniel Ortega, and we offer to send military aid to protect the Sandanista government. If these "New Contras" are anything like the old Contras, we cannot allow them to take power.
