Arthropol City Metro - Factbook
The Arthropol City Metro is the main form of public transportation for people living in and visiting Arthropol City. Fares
Fares for the Arthropol City Metro are cheap. Tickets can be purchased at automatic ticket machines at every metro station. Fares initially start at €3 to get to a station that is 10 stations away or closer using the closest possible routing. After that, fares increase by €1 every further 5 stations. If you are a resident of Arthropol City or a person that frequently uses the Metro, a travel card can be purchased. This card, which costs €5 to purchase for permanent residents and €20 for other people, allows you to travel the network with cheaper fares. Fares if you have this card are reduced to €0.20 to get to a station that is 5 stations away or closer using the closest possible routing. After that, fares increase by €0.20 every further 5 stations.
Safety
Your safety and security is of utmost concern at the Arthropol City Metro. Before entering station, passengers must put bags through a security scanner and get scanned, to prevent terrorist attacks happening. The majority of stations are fitted with gates that open, to make the chances of an accident smaller. At every station, there are multiple policemen, to prevent a terrorist incident.
