Welcome to the External Affairs Ministry!

The Empire of Lonbonia, wishing to welcome foreign diplomatic relations with new countries, has opened it's Embassy Program, an initiative to meet with nations all over the world, or all over the universe, in a friendly context, and to achieve cultural understanding with others. The Empire also seeks to politically connect to nations, to form allies and gain more statistical information about the world. You are welcome to send a telegram to the Emperor's Table for any questions or inquiries. All embassies will be located in Leoni, the capital of Lonbonia.

The Empire of Lonbonia understands that nations may wish to initiate ties with Lonbonia for different circumstances, and as such, we have filed an organizational system in which we are able to directly assist your diplomatic initiative here in our wonderful Empire. Please refer to this system when filing out FE-01 or FE-02.

CEP: Cultural Exchange Program
Your mission in Lonbonia is to inform and to be informed about the historical agency of your country and Lonbonia's. Educational and Immigrational matters that are part of your mission also go under this. We happily welcome any cultural exchange missions you have with us. Referral to the Ministry of External Affairs is not needed, but highly recommended as we would like to know more about your mission here.
SCP: Scientific Cooperation Pact
Your mission in Lonbonia is to connect with Lonbonia in the scientific world to pursue scientific gains and partnerships with the Empire. Scientific trading goes here as well.
ECI: Economic Cooperation Initiative
Your mission in Lonbonia is to initiate economic partnerships and financial accounts with the Empire. Technological initiatives and joint-contractural programs also go here.
MPC: Military Processes Initiative
Your mission in Lonbonia is to expand upon militarial cooperation and understanding. Military trades go here as well. Exchangement of military units and joint military exercise proposals are in this section. Technology that correlates to military output should also go here.
TII: Trade-Industry Initiative
Your mission in Lonbonia is to open barriers between your nation and Lonbonia for stabilized trade and regulation of trade between our nations. Long-term trade initiatives go here as well.
PA: Political Alliance
Your mission in Lonbonia encompasses all of the above missions, and you wish to ally with Lonbonia, culturally, economically, and militarily. This takes a long time to process, and does not go into effect until diplomatic relations are very favorable between your nation and us.
C: Confidential
Your mission in Lonbonia does not go into any of the above categories. Your ambassador must be sent to Lonbonia to discuss the details of your mission before the construction of embassies in Lonbonia. They will be housed and accommodated for the duration of their stay.

Strange Ambassador, do you wish to open an embassy in the Gem of Lonbonia, Leoni? If so, please make sure you fill out Form FE-01, Initiation of Ambassadorial Ties. If you do not wish to open an embassy in Lonbonia, but rather, initiate long-distance diplomatic relations, please fill out Form FE-02, Initiation of International Ties From Afar.

Know Your Rights

As you will be in the Empire of Lonbonia, you are bound to know your rights in the nation of Lonbonia, and you are also bound to our laws in our sovereign territory, and it is in your best of interests for you to know as an ambassador or the equivalent thereof, what you are bound by.

You, as an ambassador,

• May not be arrested or detained in Lonbonia*
• May be issued minor violation tickets, [traffic violations, inappropriate clothing unless deemed part of your national representation, possession of illegal substances, etc.]
• May not be prosecuted in Lonbonia*
• Are entitled to an Ambassadorial Passport, which is your legal purpose of stay in Lonbonia.
• Are entitled to protection by Lonbonian security personnel unless you are bringing your local security personnel.
• Are entitled to safe transportation to and from your embassy.
• Are entitled to housing and accommodations upon your arrival in the nation.
• Are entitled to high-quality education
• Are entitled to return to your country at any time you please, provided a substitutional ambassador takes your place.
• Are entitled to having your children be brought to the Empire and be taught in Lonbonian schools, if applicable.

* = Special cases may revoke such rights, if revoking them warrants prevention of a major crime and compromise of public safety.
