I have a lot of fantasy but the base I used for my flag was one of my already-existing flags which were used in Arma 3 RP for the security organization "Falcon Frontiers".

•The first version published for Anexora was utilizing a completely black background and had no text below it.
•The second version was a major update. The ripple effect was removed, the solid black background was changed for a cloth texture, a text in "Native Anexoran" was added, and a red stripe came into play.

The end goal was to develop a simple flag which would not take up too much time and would draw inspiration from Wolfenstein and 1984 which are both the inspiration sources for Anexora as well as a lot of my own ideas and original content.

My flag actually just a concept flag for the Blood ravens space marine chapter in wh40k. Considering they are my second favorite chapter (love you grey knights) and the loyalty of my citizens to the government was akin to the space marines loyalty to the emperor, it just made sense.

As the revival of the Papal States, the Ecclesiastical State of Portugal uses its flag but with the traditional Portuguese blue/white bicolor.

I was looking at some random crossed type flags while browsing the internet, in the end I didn't find any flag I desired inspiration from. So I decided to see some pieces I had in my files and began constructing a Seal; During that process I struck an idea that I can make flag with it. As a start, I wanted something of the Imperial-type nation of sorts, so I went with some dark-toned colors with the crossed type flag.

Of particular note is the fleur-d'etoile, the device in the bottom-right corner. I haphazardly stuck a fleur-de-lis into a star for another project. Ended up not using it for that other project, but I loved it and so used it as one of Ankuran's most common symbols.

Love this. I too am a fan of Cuba's flag. Mine... well mine's kinda obvious. Long live Uncle Sam.

I “Googled” the term “Libertarian Fascism”. Was Impressed with the flag so I used it. If you look up the idealogy Anarcho Fascsim that libertarian fascism in a nutshell and it actually might work. Maybe...

When I created this nation as a modern times roman empire, I searched on google for "purple empire flag" (purple because its the color of the roman emperor and I like it). I found this and I liked it:



After some time I wanted a new flag. Something created by myself. At that time, my nation shifted from modern roman empire to dictatorship with star wars tech. I created my current flag with brighter colours and decorated it with a tiger and a Galactic Empire© crest.

I used flag designer app on the google and tweaked the color with photoshop to make it more realistic.

To symbolising the country’s predominantly Mediterranean climate: the Vergina Sun was the obvious choice, because all the other options would make our country’s flag look too generic.

I originally had an EU-style flag with 17 stars representing the 17 states Crylante had at the time. However, to go with the consistent designs of the flags of the nations in the region Crylante is ICly in, I changed the design to be a white stripe on a dark blue background. I personally think it looks quite nice.

Basicaly took a flag from Kerbal Space Program and used it as a base. Made it blue and added an egg.

I found an official guide to good flag practice , and did the opposite of what it recommended.

I'd say it worked.

I started off my nation only with a language in mind, Galician. After I got acquianted with it I decided to look up the region it belonged to, and I went “hey that looks like a good place to have my nation be”, which was Galicia, and so I chose the Galician flag. Voila

Played around substituting my favorite color for colors in various flags until I found something I liked.

It is supposed to play a part in my countries history, which I haven't gotten around to writing.

I used the plain red flag. I like it because of its history with communism. It is also against nationalism because of its plain red.

National animal. Chose the red and gold as it really works well when rippled.

If mine isn't obvious enough, I chose my flag design to mimic the Tide company's logo because in my factbooks, I describe how the country was formed by the Tide company withdrawing from humanity to form its own nation based around laissez-faire tolerance

i didn’t initially create my flag with purpose, but i developed the meaning that the trident between the wreaths signifies the connection and unity between the lower and upper classes. the two stripes in the bottom right are just seen on many of the flags in the region of new hyperion.

I got the idea for my flag, because, well, memes.

The star represents The United federation of Subhurbia itself. The star points represent the five elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit. Each region of Subhurbia has a culture based on one or more of these elements. North Subhurbia is home to an earth element based culture, South Subhurbia is home to a fire element based culture, East Subhurbia is home to a air element based culture, and West Subhurbia is home to a water element based culture. Central Subhurbia’s element is spirit. So essentially, the flag represents the entire nation itself, united.

Seems obviously inspired by Cuba but it's actually an evolution of some flags I made back in... 2015, which were intended to be generic flags for leftism or communism or something.

Honestly, while I've had many flag ideas in my head, I created this one with another Imaginary nation in mind (not on Nationstates though, just my head and computer notes for some of it), and while playing around with the designer, created this amazing gem (which is among good company, by the looks of it).
