On behalf of her Majesty and the people of the kingdom of Mervay we ask about how the people of sitka will respond to the National Syndicalist Party takes power but begun a purge against other parties politicians, the actual president, his son and her girlfriend and the rest of the non-human population and a reduce of all types of liberties.
Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Mervay Edward Vianna.

Danceria wrote:"Your recent excerpts mention "donating" blood to sustain vampiric population...does said blood have to belong to a member of a sentient species, or could it possibly be harvested through more traditional livestock? How do vampires eat in general?"
- A rather nervous looking Dancerian Royal Chef

"It unfortunately does have to come from another intelligent being. This odd requirement lends credence to the idea that vampirism is the result of some forgotten curse or otherwise supernatural in origin. Other than simply drinking blood, we cannot eat anything, though some people have been experimenting with flavoring blood in different ways. Whether this is healthy remains to be seen."
- President Larisa Anndrasdan

Kyoki Chudoku wrote:"I must inquire. What is your opinion of Kyoki Chudoku? I've learned not to be very hopeful with my expectations. But I'm curious regardless."

-Aozora Chiyumi, Supreme Overlady of All Reality

"Yeah... I will freely admit that I am not at all fond of you, and pity your people. The fact that you aren't the worst leader I've seen doesn't say anything good about the world in general..."
- President Larisa Anndrasdan

Kyoki Chudoku wrote:"What is your opinion of the Himistu no Shakai? I am curious as to what others think of it...it's quite fascinating to learn of..."

-Kyoumi

"Understanding the nature of magic and working to prevent its abuse is a necessary, even noble pursuit, but your actions are comparable to those of a luddite who fears scientific advancement. Certain forms of magic are dangerous, but by nature they are impossible to destroy in their entirety, and often this wouldn't even be desirable. Incursions into other realities to combat the arcane creates more instability than it removes. Murdering someone due to their power without regard for their actions is intolerable as well."
- President Larisa Anndrasdan

(NOTE: I'm very very very sorry for forgetting about this thread and not responding to you and the others earlier! Anyway, that Party is no longer part of the canon, but I'll answer as if it is.)

"The idea of our populace cooperating with, much less supporting such a genocide is laughable, and it could not be carried out if there was nobody willing to carry it out. If it did somehow take place, America would intervene, or at the very least evacuate. Our Japanese allies would likely take similar action.

Also, if they exorcised my son, THEY WOULD WISH THEY HAD NEVER BEEN BORN."

"Ahm, sorry about that. My relation with him is distant, partly because I have limited memory of my life as a deity before being reincarnated. Due to this partial amnesia I don't know the exact nature of our relationship, but assume it exists due to the connection between us gods and goddesses. I suspect he views me with disdain or cold indifference for having spurned my divine purpose, something even he couldn't have foreseen. I personally am wary of him. I used to know more than he does, and that's all I'll say on the matter... Sorry I have to be so cryptic. And I don't know how you found out about this, but please, please keep quiet about it. I don't think my fellow Sitkans would care if they knew what I was, but the rest of the world would be a lot less accepting..."

Wentera wrote:QUESTION ONE: What is your opinion of Wentera?

"I believe its existence is justified, given the horrors experienced by its people in their former homeland. However, I have little data on the nation itself other than that of the leader and military."

Wentera wrote:QUESTION TWO: Opinion on Uniter John Relay?

"His ruthlessness and lack of emotion makes me both wary of him and sorry for him... on the whole, however, he seems to be a dedicated man I can respect. He understands the importance of defending his nation, but knows that the military must not consume the nation, something evidenced by his focus on education."

Wentera wrote:QUESTION THREE: Would you have a plan for if Wentera attacked your country?

"Ahm... no comment. I'd rather not think about that, honestly. Maybe I could provide some divine intervention, but I lack access to my true powers as of writing."

Wentera wrote:QUESTION FOUR: Would you be interested in visiting Wentera?

"Maybe someday. There are so many places in my own world I have yet to see, and they are changing day by day!"

Wentera wrote:QUESTION FIVE: What power sources does your nation use?

"Sitka is not yet electrified, and likely won't be in the foreseeable future. Steam power is used for industrial applications and anywhere else it is needed."

Wentera wrote:QUESTION SIX: Is there anything significant about your nation?

"I'd like to think so. I suppose one thing that sets us apart is our unity despite our lack of one central culture. We have always had a reputation as a haven for the oppressed, something that even endured under Russian rule. The kitsune shipbuilders in one of our cities are known for making clipper ships that can outpace some steamers. We are the first nation with a government inspired by the works of Karl Marx, though we don't exactly follow his ideas to the letter. We are perhaps the nearest example of direct democracy on our Earth. Female leaders are rare in our world, vampiric ones nearly unheard of; as a result, when I was elected Sitka became the first nation with a female vampire as head of state.
So yes, I suppose we are significant in some respects. Failing that, we are certainly unique, and that is enough for me."

Wentera wrote:QUESTION SEVEN: Opinion on the Governmental Super-Computer?

"... Extremely negative. Honestly, the very existence of this evil telegraph machine worsens my opinion of Monsieur Relay more than a bit."

Waldenian Empire wrote:"Your world seems strangely advanced for one only a generation or so ahead of mine. Is there a particular explanation for this?"
- Emperor Phoenix

"I have observed this discrepancy in my interactions with other worlds. Any number of minor differences have likely contributed to this. The steam car experiments of Josef Božek and others achieved more attention and success, for example. But the main factor, I think, is the organization known as the Artificers' Guild, founded centuries ago in the Turkish region. Its members are scientists, inventors, technicians, and so on who are devoted to furthering technological progress. They rapidly gained prominence in Europe during the Enlightenment, and the rest is history. They're not responsible for every advancement of our age, far from it, but their presence spurred development in other areas. They claim to be politically neutral, but I'm not always convinced of this. They have quite a bit of influence in some places."

"I believe I could work with the Social Democrats, even if we are not completely on the same page. The Tbilosian Royalists have a decent set of goals, but I worry about their bias in favor of the Church, and as always there's no guarantee that a later monarch would be so benevolent. These are merely my opinions, though, and I have no wish to cause any unrest. Lasting change must be peaceful if such an approach is at all possible, and in any case the current Grand Duke, while not exactly popular, seems open to reform and appears to have no bad intentions."

"I will freely admit that I am not fond of its government or its treatment of the people of the universe. It may have been founded on some good ideals, but nowadays its just an imperialist hegemony, sort of like an interstellar British Empire on steroids with some hammers and sickles thrown in. I'd much rather see leadership that genuinely cared for its people, their culture, and their independence."

Do your people smoke like a plebian, or do they vape like a gentlesir of honor?
Ask us anything!

Join MENINFORM today! Or that's not your style, issue a formal condemnation!

Our state, the League of the Six Free Peoples, is actually controlled by a cartel of neckbeards known as La Cosa Fedora. Members of the cartel are known as Honorable Gentlesirs. Citizens who are not members are known as normies.

Our armed forces are armies of the radicalized romanceless.

Do you fear us yet? If not, have some anti-neckbeard propaganda!

"Err... well, 'vaping', as you folk call it, hasn't been invented yet, so I guess the former? I do know my cousin prefers his pipe, but he isn't exactly Sitkan."
