How do train interiors look in your country?

PostPosted: Wed Jan 03, 2018 9:12 pm
by Al-Ghaihr
Trains in Al-Ghaihr are managed by the Bureau of Transportation (BoT) and thus only official lines exist. Most of the lines go between the Capital city Ghaihr and other major cities and make some stops at small towns inbetween.

Image

The trains in Al-Ghaihr have interiors on the inside that look like this. Private rooms mostly, if you so wish to travel that way costs only around 50 Ghaihr Royales which translates to around $35 USD. The private rooms include a bathroom and other features like television which has special channels and in addition, traditional lineup and movies. You can expect to find an wide array of food onboard and drinks. If you wish.

So, what about in your nation?

The Trains are luxurious and large. The living Quarters have 25 karat gold in the chandeliers, doorknobs, and trays. The neds are Purple Matresses. They are the most confortable matresses in the world. (they are real) you get a 40'' Wide HD TV in every room. Most of there travel from Federalis Ditritus Autem Serbae, to Sati Junipero to Ghrongnphrafhstatchniahrtimngwethnjoiuerfdsscaughthmayer. Long Name Right?

The cost of traveling on these trains are about 35 to 50 Andrades per person. These trains are common for honeymoons.

The BSB (Blodriker state railway) has 2 classes of passenger travel: Standard Class and First Class. All railway carriages are fully enclosed with glass windows and padded seats. First Class has larger compartments, more spacious seats, tables and finer decorations.

The special train used by Queen Frøya is on a whole other level. 3 whole carriages are for the Queen's exclusive use, and the train is like a palace on wheels.

Fimç interiors look like this:

Fimç is short for Ferví Intrissülér di Malt-Citária (Malsitari Inter-Insular Railway), the name of Malsitar's national passenger rail line. The average trip along the Fimç costs somewhere between Ꝑ8,50 and Ꝑ12,00.

This is the interior of a MetruCitarvürc train, typical of the country's metropolitan tramways. Travel on MetruCitarvürc lines costs Ꝑ1,00 per 100 minutes of travel:

This is the latest and greatest in Maltiv transportation, the interior of one of the new monorail trains serving downtown Mültívac, the capital, as part of the MültíCentr service launched in 2010. Travel along MültíCentr costs Ꝑ1,50 per trip.

Most urban trains are relatively bare and don't have a lot of furniture. They would have a blue bench on both sides and poles in the middle, with a plain white floor and white ceiling. On the other hand, trains in rural areas are far more luxury and are sperated into groups of four seats. The floor and ceiling wil be covered with carpet, usually brown, and their will be no metal polls in the centre.

Metro/subway trains are very plain, usually with cushioned benches on either side of the carriage.
Commuter and suburban trains usually have a mix of forward-facing and sideways seats, with the sideways seats being 3-2 or 2-2 layout.
Long-distance second class usually has 2-2 (standard gauge) or 1-2 (metre gauge) layout, with some rows facing each other.
Long-distance first class usually has 1-2 layout, with each pair of seats facing each other with a table in between.
Second class sleeper has compartments with four berths in each. The compartments are closed by a curtain. On standard-gauge trains, there are also two berths across the aisle, positioned across the window.
First class sleeper has fully enclosed compartments with lockable doors. Each compartment has four berths.

Sleeper operates only on a few routes. Some companies do not have first class on their trains, or have first class with same seating as second class.

Interdistrict Metro
Inter district Metro trains, usually just referred to as metro, have cushioned seats on each side of the train as well as poles to hold if one is standing. Advertisements and PSA's can be found the walls.

Megalopolis Hyperloop
Megalopolis Hyperloops generally follow the same design as metro trains, featuring benches as well as advertisements on the walls. They also have compartments for storing luggage above the seats. Rural Hyperloops also generally follow the same design, however some trains on longer distance routes may have on board bathrooms.

Transcontinental Hyperloop (Economy)
Not much variation is seen between economy class Hyperloop trains and megalopolis hyperloops, with the exception of on board bathrooms.

Transcontinental Hyperloop (Luxury)
Luxury class TC Hyperloops generally have more spacious seats as well as a catering service for trips over 2 hours, as well as personal screens on the back of each seat.

Well, if you are a normal Bashkurdi who takes a train to the city for work everyday, then it looks like this.
It's hard to see the interior because... Well, it's packed with people. Train surfing is common, even though it violates several cultural customs, train surfing is about the only acceptable circumstance where those customs can be violated.

However, if you are one of the lucky few to ride in the Supreme Leader's train, or one of the other lavishly appointed trains for other higher members of government, the trains look like this and a little more:

Train interiors vary widely due to the multiple train companies operating in Osway, however these pictures show a general overview:

*Note that commuter train in Nihon is different than other countries. It is also tends to be heavily interlined with subway lines, with commuter rail trains continuing into the subway network, and then out onto different commuter rail systems on the other side of the city. Image

Below is a photo of the interior of the The Imperial Train (reclassified as Her Most Royal President's Grand Imperial Train and coded as Train One when the President is on board, and coded as Sun God Train when the President is on board during a Presidentially declared National Emergency.) This photo displays the Sun Diner area of the train:

Image

The Federal Council has approved the following design for the National Public Train, which is planned to be in operation by February 2nd. The National Public Train will only cost 1 Chado per ride regardless of destination and will move from the Capitol City of Chadtonia The Great Royal City of Chadtonia to the Western portion of Chadtonia along the width of Mainland Chadtonia and then Northward to the border of Bigtopia (and reverse, of course.)

Image

Both of the above Trains will occupy Chadtonia's National Railway system, however as a measure of additional safety and security The Imperial Train has been licensed by the Federal Council to operate as a Federal train at all times, and all trains must give yield to the Imperial Train at all times, unless the President declares otherwise.

The only trains we have are short lines used mostly for logging. the only cars are flatcars, so there really isn't any "interior".

Our long distance trains are designed to heighten physical fitness as that is what most people in our nation enjoy is to be physically fit. You will find compartments that have vast exercise equipment but there is always a swimming pool built into the roof along the entire length of the train for people to swim laps. It is heated in the winter and refreshingly cold in the summer time when the heat is most oppressive in my nation.

Image

Above: As you can see the dining car emphasizes light and views of the surroundings outside the train. Meals are always served during daylight hours with the dinner meal taking place at sunset.

Image

Above: As you can see the swimming pool on the long distance train is either indoors for the colder mountainous routes where frequent storms in winter and summer make outdoor swimming dangerous and impractical or on the warmer desert and coastal routes there is the rooftop pool which is not pictured.

_____________________________

On shorter regional trains with commutes of less than 2 hours there is dining service of one meal per trip which is an additional charge for the ticket. The longer routes the meal is included in the ticket price.

Image

Above: As you can see the regional trains are set in table formats that way individuals can be served their meal or simply use the table space as a desk to work as they travel.

______________________________

Local trains within the cities are designed to encourage conversation and social interaction featuring comfortable couches and seats for passengers to sit on as they are deposited from one point to another. As they are city trains meal service is never provided and food is strictly prohibited from being brought onto the train

Our intercity trains have only two classes, regular and first class. They are also high speed which means most people have no real point to buy first class, thus we are phasing them out and replacing them with the above picture.

Before (for most longest route Uprax- Thenax)
First: 450 M
Regular: 295 M

Image
regular: 350 M
Image
First: 650 M

The Pan National Rail Network (PNRN) is also two class rail system, but longer distance high speed rail. Since many travel times come near 9 hours, we try to subsidize price and make customers as comfortable as possible. Thus, train travel is extremely popular.
