What is the name of your nation's intelligence service?

Kannadrickium's intelligence service is simply known by its acronym, the KKK.

The KKK is responsible for both domestic and foreign intelligence.

The KKK is also responsible for carrying out covert operations.

Definitely not the "Kool Kid's Klub" but, there are numerous smaller intelligence agencies within the main agency or connected to it, such as special forces units, the CIA, NSA and so on. Primarily though the country uses the "Military Office of Special Intelligence" (MOSI) Umbrella, with the predominate group of this (I.E. like the CIA) being NAV-SPEC-WAR, or the Naval Special Warfare Command, or the NSWC. Unlike many countries, such as the U.S., the Republic of Manoka utilizes it's military in civilian operations, so most intelligence agencies or groups like the FBI are officially under the command of the military. Also roughly half the police force are MP's, that is "military police", like much of Europe and Russia. The military can in peace time also serve as police for the country, thus doubling their usefulness when being a standing army. Since the military is used predominately in counter terrorists and counter revolutionary operations, it's not uncommon for the roles of police and military to be blurred, and like the Federalis in many latin America countries essentially serve as a hybrid military police force.

This gives a lot of power to the military and "martial law", and sometimes they can be heavy handed (I.E. Swat-raiding some local grocery store for selling out dated, unpasteurized milk) but crime is generally down.

New Transeurasia's intellignece service is called the Central Bureau of Intelligence, or CBI, or in Russian the Центральное бюро Разведки, or ЦбР, romanized that is the TsBR. It handles both domestic and foreign intelligence related to New Transeurasia.

Our intelligence service is RNIS, the Royal and National Intelligence Service. It was formed by a merger of the Royal Intelligence Service, which focused on foreign operations, and the National Intelligence Service, which focused on domestic operations.

The empire has the Alyrian Security-Intelligence Agency(ASIA) which covers both domestic and foreign intelligence. Oddly enough it is the only executive department where the head director has a seat within the Capital Chamber - executive body of advisers like the cabinet - and the Imperial Military Collective(Joint Chief of Staff similarly). The agency quite often works along with military personnel to help provide information to the country’s leader.

ASIA is sub-divided into several different departments for specifics roles and objectives such as;
Order of the Clandestine Knights- mostly deals with foreign intelligence and conducts HUMINT operations outside the country
Imperial Guard- in charge of protecting the royal family, nobility, noble politicians and other state officials
Civil Security Authority- conducts counter-terrorism activities and other domestic intelligence services. Also coordinates and handles all existing paramilitary organizations within the nation

The DGES possesses an intelligence service that is meant to keep tabs on international enemies, as internal crime here does not exist.

Its name? Unfortunately, due to our strict policies on anonymity, that is [CLASSIFIED] information.

The CTM's main intelligence service is the CIS (Central Intelligence Service). It has branches such as the FIA (Federal Investigation Agency), NSS (National Security Service), etc.

Our central intelligence services are EI2, EI3 and EI4. There also was EI1 but that one was discontinued as its primary function was tracking wartime signals.

Historically and perhaps most famously, Radiatia had the Radiatian Special Operations Division (R-SOD), which was originally formed during the communist regime but continued to exist 40 years after the collapse of that regime.

However, R-SOD was formally disbanded following the Fyoderov Scandal and replaced by four new agencies:

- The Federal Intelligence Department (FID), the main civilian intelligence agency.

- The Radiatian Security Service (RSS) concerned mainly with diplomatic (and Presidential) protection as well as tasked with investigating financial crime, fraud and cyber-crime.

- The Radiatian Military Intelligence Division (R-MID), the main military intelligence agency, answerable to the Federal Ministry of Defence.

- The National Communications Security Department (NCSD), the primary signals intelligence agency.

All four must answer to the National Director of Intelligence, who must report to Cabinet - this system designed to prevent the President having too much direct control over the intelligence agency, which has led to serious abuses of power in the past.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs functions as both internal oversight for the government, to keep them in check, and as a means to spy on any troublemakers, foreign and domestic. Currently they are conducting an open investigation into corruption within the military (the military has gone "AWOL" several times now, culminating in us getting summoned to a war crimes tribunal by the UN).

For internal investigations and intelligence, we have C-NI5 (What happened to 1-4 you might ask? they're other, smaller divisions of the ministry of intelligence). The international intelligence agency is C-NI6. We also have C-NI7 and 8, but their missions are highly classified.

The Mukhabarat, officially known as Idarat al-Mukhabarat al-Amma or General Intelligence Directorate, is the central intelligence agency of the Islamic Soviet Republic of Alsheb, and operates under the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs. The Mukhabarat is subdivided in the Internal Security Division and the External Security Division (for foreign operations). Their rapid response unit is known as the Special Mission Forces.

Other agencies that are under Internal Affairs governance are the Political Security Directorate, the Criminal Security Directorate and the Counter-Narcotics Directorate.
For military intelligence, there is the Shu'bat al-Mukhabarat al-'Askariyya or Military Intelligence Directorate.

UEIJUnidade Especial de Investigações Judiciárias], the Special Judiciary Investigations Unit, is our intelligence service. It is one of the world's smallest with just 12 ranked officers and 87 regular officers. The scope of jurisdictions is as follows: all crimes taking place on the grounds of court buildings and correctional facilities, to investigate claims of judicial wrongdoing or corruption, to incarcerate bail jumpers, to provide all necessary backup to local law enforcement during emergencies, maintain order in all zonal high courts, sole jurisdiction of law enforcement within the grounds of the Constitutional Court, investigate all level C and D crimes, investigate suspected terrorism.

The national intelligence agency of Argentinstan is the National Intelligence Agency, otherwise known as the NIA.

We operate the Confederate Intelligence Agency, or CIA for covert observations of potential enemies. The organization specializes in operations involving the alien empires elsewhere in the Milky Way galaxy, but another division keeps tabs on possible troublemaking members of the Confederacy.

Although they share an acronym, the American CIA is not a forerunner of the Confederate Intelligence Agency.

Chineke has a handful of different intelligence agencies. The Chinekan Intelligence Service, or CIS, handles international intelligence. The Agency of Chinekan Intelligence, or ACI, handles internal information.

[Democratic Exodian Territories]

We have the EIM, the Exodian Intelligence Ministry, (EIM) which deals with operations abroad, as well as the Exodian Secret Service (ESS, not to be confused with the prefix for Exodian Navy vessels), which handle domestic affairs. Both share authority over cyber-based operations, with of course the ESS handling domestic information while the EIM handles information overseas.

The Consumer Data Department, Investment Audit Department and Complaints Department coordinate to handle the intelligence tasks of the TemoFab Corporation.

[Victorious Decepticons]

We have three intelligence agencies. The main two operate under the umbrella of the Decepticon Intelligence Division. They are:

The Domestic Intelligence Division - DomIntel - the most feared domestic government agency. It is tasked with rooting out all types of treason and traitors. It has the ability to sign out death warrants with no advance warning, and it will not hesitate to do so if it determines that somebody is an enemy of the state.

The Foreign Intelligence Division - ForIntel - International/interplanetary spies, saboteurs, destabilizers of foreign governments...your somewhat typical spy agency, in some ways. In other ways...very atypical. For example, we can field realistic android agents, transforming "office equipment" that's actually agents, replace targets with android agent counterfeits that even have the original's DNA, use bulletproof bodies while sowing mayhem, and more. Our objectives may be like many other spy agencies, but our methods and technologies set us far above the vast majority of them.

Unlike in some countries, our agencies work together if a situation arises where jurisdictions overlap. If someone travels abroad for what seems to be a fishy reason, he may therefore get spied on or worse by both agencies.

There is one other agency - one not controlled by the main Decepticon Intelligence Division:

Military Intelligence - MilIntel - This agency's presence is almost exclusively limited to Decepticon military installations, though some of its agents may end up elsewhere if an investigation leads them there.

While MilIntel does weed out general traitors from the troops if it spots them, its main job is counterespionage. It helps keep military secrets secret by spotting foreign spies, detecting compromised personnel, figuring out who is most able to be corrupted by foreign bribes/blackmail and making sure they never learn any real secrets, and similar activities. MilIntel is also in charge of the security of restricted military areas.
