[Omicron Tara]

Omicron Tara is divided into sectors. Each sector consists of a planet and its moons, or of an asteroid belt. Each sectors is headed by its own governor, and has a Congress of Citizens on the same model as the national Congress.

[Union of Socialist Alpine Republics]

The Union of Socialist Alpine Republics (U.S.A.R.) consists of 30 socialist republics. The capital city of the Alpine Union is Ibrahimovicstadt, a newly build underground city, build from scratch under the Alps mountain range.

[The Grand Duchy Of Nova Capile]

These are the hundreds of administrative divisions of Nova Capile. Among them are Duchies, Counties, Earldoms, Dioceses, Bishoprics, and even a few Principalities and Princely States. Each has historically been ruled by a member of the aristocracy or Church. In modern times, they have been adjusted- upsetting ancient balances of power- to be roughly equal in population, allowing for them to be used as Electoral Districts. The historical rulers of these divisions have also had much of their powers stripped away, and in some cases have even been replaced by civilian administrators.

This is the much less convoluted map of the Grand Duchy, divided into nine Districts. Each is ruled by a District Governor and has its own parliament, constituting our federal governing system. They are also roughly equal in population, though historical and geographic boundaries were considered more heavily in their formation.

Lukquarel consists of 14 states, which have their own governments and may enact laws independently of each other, and of the national government. However, only one state, the Epsnean Islands, has the power to, in some circumstances, enact legislation for itself that overrules national legislation.

[Vyzhva]

Vyzhva is administratively divided into 24 Kolkoms (collective commune) and Targan, which is reconised by the Vyzhvan government as an exclave. The Kolkoms are free to decide sector of economical focus, however under the supervision of the Collective People's Rada. Each Kolkom is subdivided into 35 Agricultural-Industrial Zones. The Vyzhvan capital of Melna is situated in the Melna Kolkom and has a total population amount of approxiamtely 3 million.

We have 26 states, and 3 constituent republics. They are further subdivided into counties.

[The Commonwealth Federation]

The Commonwealth Federation is made up of the colonies of the former British Empire, re-named "states" to remove the negative connotations of the word "colony". There are seventy-seven states; of these eight are Dominions and thirteen (eleven Treaty Entities, Transjordan and Iraq) are considered highly autonomous to the extent where they have their own foreign policies. Palestine is divided into Arab and Jewish sectors, and so is sometimes counted as two entities.

The largest state by land area is Canada, and the state with the largest city is India, although the capital is located in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The largest state by population is also India.

Each state has its own capital and state parliaments mostly adhering to the Westminster model. They have their own elected prime ministers and have jurisdiction over most internal affairs, though not foreign policy (except the aforementioned Dominions and Treaty Entities) or military affairs.
The states play a crucial role in "The Ministry", the national governing body opposite the Palace of Westminster. Each elect members to the Commonwealth Federation's Parliament, and individual states can be elected to the foreign policy body of the Federation as well as advance candidates for the position of President.

The Federation of Nyorklandia has 8 subdivisions:

[Great Nortend]

The Kingdom of Nortend, Cardoby and Hambria are split into two smaller kingdoms, being Kingdom of Nortend and the Kingdom of Hambria. Within the Kingdom of Nortend, there exists separately the Lordship of Cardoby. These (Nortend, Cardoby and Hambria) are collectively known as civil provinces which are administrative regions, not to be confused with the ecclesiastical Province of Limmes.

Each province is divided up into a varying number of counties, which are known as duchies in Cardoby and as marches on the border between Nortend and Hambria, owing to their status as counties palatine where a duke and marquess hold power. Other current counties palatine include Sulthey and County Yeartey wherein the Archbishop of Sulthey and the Bishop of St Cleaves hold certain powers. Each county has two officers of the Crown: the Lieutenant and the Sheriff. The Lieutenant is the King's military and personal representative in a county whereas the Sheriff is the King's judicial
and administrative representative responsible as formal head of the constabulary and prisons and for the care of Crown lands, courts. The Lieutenant, often known as the Lord Lieutenant, commands the county militia, appoints Justices of the Peace and is responsible for the wellbeing of the King within the county. The Sheriff also is responsible for the collection of taxes on behalf of the King's Exchequer, executing and returning writs, issuing certain licences, and producing prisoners at court.

Some counties are broken up further into divisions, which may also be known as ridings, annerings or farthings. Whilst a division is nowadays mostly used in cadastral or other nominal cases, the special divisions shewn below indented are often considered to be effective counties in their own right, and thus each send two knights of the shire to the House of Knights and each have a Lieutenant and Sheriff.

Counties and divisions are divided into hundreds, also known as wards or hathings. A hundred is a grouping of a number of parishes, usually around 10, and owned by the same person, and corresponds to a deanery in the ecclesiastical sense. Most hundreds in Great Nortend have passed into private ownership of earls and viscounts, however there remain a number owned outright by the Crown. Hundreds are subdivided into parishes or manors. Parishes are controlled by the parish vestry which has a large remit of adminstrative responsibility. Officers of a manor or parish include the Rector, the Steward, the Bailiff, Reeve and the Lord of the Manor. Manors are subdivided locally into tithings, also known as borows, boroughs and borgows, which is a collection of around ten households used for mutual punishment for riots and other manorial crimes.

The Pan-Asiatic States is divided into 9 Federal States.

These states have a great deal of autonomy over their affairs; Crylante is often described as a confederal republic.

It also has one overseas territory, the Vanir Islands, which are self-governing in all but matters of foreign affairs.

What is your nation divided into? (eg. states, provinces, counties, departments, etc.) and how many are there? How are the divisions governed? How are they created (were they pre-existing entities that united under one national government, or were they drawn up by the government itself?)

Nordengrund consists of eight counties. Each county has its own parliament, though unlike the national government, the head of state and government are not separate offices. Each county has its own premier that serves as the head of the county parliament as well as serving as the symbol of the county. Officially and legally, the county boundaries were drawn by the national government, though the borders were often based on borders of old, now extinct kingdoms.

Avinaa is divided into forty states in a federation. All states must have a republican form of government to be in line with the federal constitution. There are two major forms of government used by Thirty-nine of the forty states. In the first form used by twenty-nine states is a parliamentary democracy with the state government being led by a premier and a state governor serving in a ceremonial figurehead elected by the legislature. The second is a gubernatorial democracy used in ten states. In these states a popularly elected governor is both the head of government and ceremonial leader of the state. The Islands of Valentina has the only unique form of government. In Valentina a bicameral legislature elects a premier and his/her cabinet. The head of state is called the Special Representative who is formally appointed by the federal president, however since Valentina became a state presidents have always appointed a representative that is approved by the state's premier.

Olympia, the state of adventure, the capital state and the state of business, politics, industry, tourism, etc. Villam, the state of agriculture, the farming state, nothing else has to be said. Silva, the state of peace, the forest state (called the forest state due to the fact it's the state with the most forest area), another tourist hotspot, etc. Heremus, the state of emptiness, the desert state, etc. And Craterem, the state of craters, the lake state, etc.

[Amrasia]

Amrasia is divided into 15 states; each states has their own autonomy. Each states are governed by a governor, and a secretary of the state.
The most northern city in Amrasia, Skarsvag, is located in the State of Bredbyn, bordering directly with the Arctic Ocean.
